Over 2 hours delivery from the time of order, very poor service

The food was 2 and a half hours late. The restaurant didn’t answer their phone or let us know that it was going to be late. Our spring rolls didn’t come in the order. We had to contact customer service who where really unhelpful and had to order food somewhere else as we where waiting which wasted our money.

First time order but certainly wouldn’t be the last. Quality ingredients and tasty. Really enjoyed.

Absolutely terrible, waited over 3 hours for an order that didn't come. Called the restaurant and got told it was on its way but 45 mins later, still no food. Called restaurant again and they had no answers. Never use them again... ever

I had Tom Yum seafood soup and prawn fried rice, both of which were delicious and tasty! I picked up my order which was ready and waiting. To those who choose to have their meals delivered, please note that they were really busy cooking the orders and had lots ready to go, this would probably account for people’s late deliveries, bearing in mind that lockdown will be affecting things! I can thoroughly recommend Thai Garden Cafe!

Great spot we eat here loads never had a bad meal 100% would reccomend. Keep up the quality and people will always come to you thanks

I'm not saying it was late, per se, as it came when they said it would, but if you order at 7pm, having them tell you it's coming at 9pm is slightly ridiculous. Two hours??!! Yes, it might be freshly prepared but I am starving by the time it arrives and barely taste it because I'm shovelling it down. If they work on the speed, it would be great.

Delicious and very accommodating! Takes longer than your typical take away but I think this is because it’s all super fresh! Can’t wait to order again *****

Food is always very nice and never had a problem until this time round it took from 6 until 9,30 to arrive. Not great management of orders I would encourage them to not take as many with there food you can’t complain always so tasty and always come warm for me. But yea takes a long time to get your food they will loose customers if not careful.

Delivery time was appalling.An hour late and then had to contact thai garden as they had not included noodles.This is the 3rd time it has happened and the response is always 'we are really busy'.not good enough.I will be seeking my money back

If you want your food on time, don’t order from here. Rang the restaurant 3 times to ask where the order was to be told “driver leaving soon, that ok” Food was ok, starters definitely better than the main. Wish I’d ordered more starters instead.

Was lovely the 1st time I orded but this time it tasted like nothing. Tasted disccusting. I rung up they said if i brought it down could get a refund. Baring in mind one I don't drive and two my little boy was in bed I had it delivered they wouldn't send some one out to collect the food. It was bland and very dry.

Lovely flavours and arrived hot. Friendly delivery driver and good portions didn’t feel overwhelmed by leftovers or tempted with seconds - just the right amount. The jungle curry was fresh with loads of veg and cooked well. The soups are delicious! Delivery was a little late but that was down to our location and our poor directions! Overall would recommend this as a lighter and tastier option than other takeaways in the area.

Nearly 30 mins early tonight and steaming hot, tasted fab as always. I've not been disappointed in the quality of food or service yet.

Even though the order was made at 19:40, the expected delivery wasn´t given until 21:00 which we thought was too long but we were prepared to wait. It arrived around 21:30, even though we´d called twice to see where the food was, and it arrived cold. The prawn toast was burnt and the noodles didn´t taste right. We had to warm it up in the microwave. Really disappointed as this restaurant isn´t cheap and the delivery fee is a lot too

On this occasion the service from Thai Garden was poor, delivery was nearly an hour late, food had to be re heated and although still good quality, disappointing due to waiting time

Advice time 18:40 to collect. I received order at 19:00. Other orders, with customers coming in later (collection time unknown) receiving order earlier. When I asked what happened with delivery time, only excuse.... Maybe next time.... Lacklustre at best.

Disappointed, was looking forward to Tom yum soup but not very spicy and lacked Thai fresh herbs. The pad Thai very bland and mushy. Would not order from here again. Very expensive too.

Great food but is up to an 1.5hrs late every time. Took two hours from order for food to be delivered. If they were honest about delivery time being a lot longer it would be better but they never update time or when our for delivery. Food is always good but won’t be ordering again.

Never received order! Ordered at 1715hrs estimated delivery was 1830. Asked for update estimated delivery was changed to 1900hrs. At 2000hrs asked for money back through Just eat and apparently my ordered has been delivered which it has not! Just received this from Just eat : The restaurant is giving you £3.00 for your delayed order. This will appear as account credit that you can use when you place your next order. Thanks for your patience, we hope you enjoy your food. So i have been charged for food that I haven’t received. I have also tried to call the restaurant numerous times but they are not answering and the answer machine states mail box full. Never order from this restaurant.

Late is an understatement and it’s not for the first time I have had enough of the restaurant and will not be ordering again!!! I accept they may be busy if so they should stop accepting orders the food is ok not the best Thai I’ve had I’d advise not to trust what time they say if you want your food on time order elsewhere

This is the second time I have ordered food from here and it be super late. Last time took 2.5 hours. This time ordered at 6.40pm, confirmed 8.10pm delivery, its now 8.25pm and restaurant have said will be at least another half hour. Absolutely disgraceful 😤

Food OK but cold and 45min late. Missing sticky ribs, delivery said they had been trying to contact me to tell me, I never had a missed call but I phoned them 3 times chasing the order, they never mentioned the missing item. Also missing sweet chilli sauce for starters and prawn crackers. A shame as we really like this restaurant.

Ordered from here numerous times and whilst the food is really nice, we’ve noticed that ordering on a Friday is a game of roulette. Once our food never turned up and the restaurant just cancelled the order, then the most recent time they changed the status on just eat to ‘delivered’ (not true) and refused to answer the phone despite trying on numerous occasions. After an hour of being late had passed and no comms, we gave up hope and I went out to pick up our dinner from elsewhere. Whilst I was out they turned up, 1 hour 20 minutes late. Had to turn them away.

From placing the order to receiving the delivery it was 2hr5mins. This was a very disappointing service. The food is usually fantastic but unfortunately the food was not worth the wait on this occasion.

Food was late again by 50 minutes, 3rd time now. Food not up to the same standard though, both the pork and chicken were chewy, prawn toast was burnt and cold. The saving grace was the flavour in the sauces. I know you guys are busy and the on going situation but a more realistic delivery time would be appreciated especially with feeding a hangry child

The food was awful. The meatballs were cold, hard and tasteless. The prawn toast looked like it had been in a fridge for a few weeks and looked really unappetising and the chicken satay was cold. The only thing that was ok was the spring rolls. I had heard good things about this place but I'll never eat here again.

So. The food from here is outstanding, but their customer service is awful. Order placed and original delivery was for 1h30m... Then turns up 30 minutes late. Nothing free in the food or a reduction in cost because of the service. Disappointing overall as this has happened twice... Consecutively. I've ordered twice from here.

Stuff missed off the order so called stright away woman stated they would cook it up and get it out stright away and put a few beers in to compensate over a hour waiting again so over 2 hours over all they brought full order again but we was expecting the missing bits and asked for old back but nibbled on what we did have and we didn't receive the beers and then the ribs had not been packed right so all the juice and ribs was all in the bag and made everything sticky

My meal was delivered on time but was made with chicken, which I can’t eat, instead of pork. I rang the restaurant and they immediately said they would bring out the correct meal. They came quicker than expected and also brought a fresh tub of rice. Mistakes can happen but it is how it’s handled that counts. Hence the five stars. My only slightly negative comment is that there should be more meat in the dish as it was about 90% potatoes and sauce, but was very tasty.

Restaurant lost my order, then said it was out for delivery but food hadn't even been made as somone processed order and didn't even make the food. Had to chase restaurant or would have been left hungry. No compensation offered.

Food arrived late after delivery driver couldn't find property. Ordered the papaya salad to be contacted and told that this was no longer on the menu and replaced with a cucumber salad with no mention of a reduction in cost. Food arrived cold, salad was a box of slimy sliced cucumber and more potatoes in the curry than meat. Overall a disappointment. Only plus note is the lady that called from the restaurant was lovely and polite.

Food is always good, today was no exception However I’m not sure Iv ever had one on time. Today I thought it must be quicker if I collect it, especially with the restaurant being closed. Still took over 35 min estimated collection time, and when I got there it was still another 10 minutes. Poor girl behind the counter and the delivery girl looked so stressed. Seems like it’s lacking good management.

I have ordered from this place on various occasions and it's never been bad just about average. But this time I asked for no onions, peas etc in the chicken and fried rice but the kitchen staff didn't listen. The salad we ordered was absolutely disgusting! Everything was all wilted and soggy! It was more like a soup than salad. I thought the sauce was going to be like a dressing but it was around 2-3cm deep in liquid! Honestly was the most awful thing I have ever had. Will not be ordering from this place again, I would expect better for the price you pay.

Absolutely lovely. First time ordered (but my daughter had eaten there before and recommended it) meals all tasted fantastic will definitely be ordering again v soon!!! Delivery a bit steep at £3 so we collected which was spot on. Order with confidence for a great meal suggestion would be to add vegetarian spring rolls or some starters.
