Just had the worst ever waited 1 n half hours for food for it to be cold paid 66 pound appsoloutly awful

Waw This is the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. Very lovely. I have finally found a place for my dinner. The delivery was swift , I received my order in about 15mins. I was just surprised. Thank you Golden Hill

Tried this Chinese for the first time tonight after receiving a menu through the door. I can honestly say it’s the best Chinese I’ve had in a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection, really tasty and arrived hot. Will definitely be ordering again!

Food was decent not quite fantastic but ok

Ordered from here and was told food would be 30 minutes. An hour later no food had turned up so we rang em and got told food has just left. 30 minutes later still no food so rang again. 5 minutes later the food arrived and the delivery driver told us its normal procedure and he is getting fed up with it. Its not his fault but he would take some stick from costumers. Not too much to say about the food. Unfortunately there was more bad than good. Certainly not the standard of our regular which unfortunately was closed. Wont be ordering from here again!

Proper Chinese takeaway lovely good and reasonably priced

Just ordered just some crispy seaweed for my granddaughter. And I have to say it was disappointing. The price has gone up by a lot and the portion has been halfed. We have ordered many times from Golden Hill, but not anymore.

Moved to the area a few months ago and we’ve been disappointed not to find a worthy replacement for the excellent Chinese takeaway near our old home. We decided to try Golden Hill after receiving their menu through our door. Really glad we did! We have now found our go-to Chinese. Lovely meal from them last night. It was tasty without being too salty. The spicy dishes were just right. The sauces were a good consistency and not gloopy. There was plenty of meat (or prawns) in each dish. Nothing was greasy or oily. The meal was delivered promptly, nice and hot and the price was reasonable. Only issue is they don’t take card, but I’m sure we can work round that. So pleased to have found a great local Chinese takeaway. We’ll be back!

Just moved into the area, tried our new local Chinese takeaway, 10 out of 10 ! Better than our old local Chinese and that was good ,but Golden Hill is even better! Great service and tasty great food.

The food was just ok ivvhad food from here for 10 yrs but tonight the lemon sauce abs sweet sour sauce too was like water spoilt the meal

Bestest chinese in anston, dinnington or Laughton by far. Totally recommended. Only thing is that they don't have alternative to pay by card which Its disappointing.

Spent £50.80 on my family treat last Friday night , wish I hadn’t bothered , the prawn toast was more of a thick white sliced loaf with the minimal prawn on top , deep fried so much the bread was brown , and very hard . The spare ribs in BBQ sauce again so deep fried no soft meat was left , they were dry and unpalatable . The plain noodles were good, the chicken in satay sauce never had a whiff of a peanut and the sauce was so runny not thick satay ? Chicken with cashews again every few cashews , only the salt n pepper chicken and the 1/2 duck were good along with the boiled rice . I sent the ribs back only for the owner to bite into one and say "no problem" .. there is a problem you are double frying yesterday starters , you didn’t need to be a top chef to work that one out . Won’t bother again ,, will try other places , suck a let down .

Shocking. We waited for an hour and a half, after being told it would be here in an hour. On arrival the food was cold and needed reheating in our oven. No reasonable explanation for this and a measly offer of 10% off our next order - unacceptable. We won’t be ordering again.

I ordered the Snack Box, food was really nice but it could have done with a lot less salt, we found it difficult to finish due to this!

this has been my local Chinese takeaway for 5 years. we have never had a bad meal, on a couple of occasions they were good to average but 90% of the time the food id outstanding. If we have visitors and have a takeaway, this is where we go. i am genuinely surprised this place has any negative reviews. highly recommended

Great if your idea of fun is throwing your guts up. Ordered recently and was seriously ill afterwards. I won’t be ordering here ever again.

The food is very nice, for collection it is prepared incredibly quickly and the front off house staff are very friendly and efficient.

Great ying yong with nice salty prawns, always nice before the Sunday night special.

Diabolical. I accept anybody can make a mistake. But to forget a meal then say will sort it next time u order. not we will come back and rectify the mistake and make sure you have the meal u ordered. Disgrace. Will never use them again.
