My go to on line Chippy! Good clean well prepared food no matter what you order and with a large fish Meaning a large fish you can't go wrong. Onyx are Always on time , the food is Always hot and I cannot recommend them enough ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in my opinion. 💯

The chips were forgotten AGAIN!!!

Ridiculous, still awaiting the delivery 2 hours after ordering and they have marked the delivery as ordered twice now, called one time and they said they mark it as delivered as soon as the driver sets off? Then went on the app to say it is late was set another delivery time that came and went and now they won’t even answer the phone, absolutely disgraceful service especially as now it will take 2 days to sort a compensation claim

Too much salt of chips apart from that lovely

The burgers from here are dry, taste horrendous. The bun is stale. The battered sausage was soggy. The chips were nice so a win there I guess but not worth the money. Won't be ordering again.

We order from here regularly because the food is good, it's reasonably priced & delivery is quick.

Usually like this chippy but last night's delivery wasn't good - overly greasy, forgot to pack the gravy, 30 mins later than expected and cold, really disappointing - something has happened to the quality of food and service here recently, will be getting chippy from elsewhere now on.

Well its the 5th of october ordered my fish special and the fish is over cooked like its been fride 2 times very dry like eating cardboard chip buttey and sauage special the fish should not have bern sold not fit for eating very disappointing as i go here alot and it be my last not going any more Chips dry and hard as nails Not the quality i would expect from this fish shop really let them self's down selling fried food that's been cooked awhile even dog would not touch it

Chips used to be golden and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Now they are greasy and most times cold. Or look stood and browning. Chips even fresh taste like oil. Very heavy. And small portions. Best bit is the from from the tikka tbh and that's the salad. Don't waste your hard earned money here. Wait forever because of online orders, and it's still not fresh tasting

£30.00 wasted. They sent out the food without having the full address. Driver did try to contact me but by the time I got the message it was too late. Hopefully someone got to enjoy my order

I orded a fish scollop, the potato was hard, couldnt eat it. Apart from that rest of the order was ok.

Not such a great experience I won’t be ordering here again the chips tasted like they are cooked in old oil which was disgusting bread cake didn’t list that it had butter in I’m allergic to butter so this is just out of order..

Similar experience to a few other customers who have left reviews. Waited a good 20 minutes for fish, chips and curry sauce, open (£8.50). The woman serving was just wrapping up orders when it would have been easy to just prepare my portion and I'd be gone. Instead I was just awkwardly waiting. Felt a bit like she was making me wait on purpose which seemed a bit of a strange thing to do, maybe proving a point to her boss that she was overstretched. I usually go in a couple of times a week to get something to eat before my night shift (the food is quite good) but the waiting around is getting too much now. Won't be visiting again.

Food order late, rang the shop, they said five minutes, it total it was about 45 minutes late. No apology, from either the stafmember on the phone or the delivery driver. I ordered cod chips and peas, the cod wasn't cod, gave it to the dogs, it wasn't nice, and the meal, was luke warm, I also ordered a small battered sausage, the batter was unpleasant. I look forward to the end of the week and a takeaway, sad to say, this one was a let down.

I am currently 30 minutes waiting in the shop for an all day special and a portion of chips. The place is under staffed. They prioritise the online orders it seems. Terrible service.

Positive….the fish was great. Negatives, missing part of the order, chips are horrendous. Spoke to someone for a credit on the missing order, all I got back was attitude.

The order arrived wrong they forgot the bottle of pop I paid for which cost £3.40. The delivery driver disappeared to my local shop and then came back with a bottle of pop costing £1.50 and I paid £3.40 and the food is awful.
