Lovely food & great service from Kerry.

Ordering was easy, we used the QR code at the table. The food arrived in good time, was hot and delicious, our steaks cooked exactly as we asked for. The member of staff who brought us out food was friendly and helpful. The price was what I would expect, so no surprises there. The atmosphere was nice, relaxed and welcoming.

First visit here. Great food and service. We will be back.

New menu apparently. More expensive same old food. Meh. Pretty dull atmosphere and disinterested staff. The app wouldn't calculate any savings so ordered at the bar. The bottled cider was quite expensive.

We booked a table right at the last minute (for 12!) and the Bluebell were nothing but accommodating! Gorgeous food, lovely staff and reasonable too. What’s not to love? Curtis behind the bar was amazing! Couldn’t do enough for us and with a smile too. A rarity in most places 😂 ❤️ Our new favourite spot 🫶🏻

Impromptu lunch out and were incredibly impressed with the Bluebell Inn. Quiet pub,with secluded seating, clean and nice atmosphere. Curtis, who served us,was incredibly friendly, made our meal ammendments (fussy children) really easy. Genuinely polite chap who made us feel really welcome.

The staff are very friendly and polite. They allow dogs and the food is really nice. They even have sausages for the dogs

Staff lovely, helpful and efficient. Seating area clean and areas very childfriendly. Unfortunately food was not great. Starters were ok corn on cob very hard. Can tell it is pre cooked food just warmed back up. Main meals again not the best - Sunday lunch is a definite no go unless you like flavourless food covered in water rather than gravy... Pub classics are ok Desserts - didn't have the dessert i originally asked for. Then when alternative arrived, looked the part however taste was lacking. Overall would visit again due to good friendly atmosphere and nice staff however prob just have drinks and go elsewhere for food.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent meal at this pub. The spicy burger, while visually appealing, was accompanied by cold, rubbery fries that were inedible. The burger itself was of poor quality and left an unpleasant aftertaste. This was one of the worst pub meals I've ever had, and at £14, I felt completely ripped off. I won't be returning!

Lovely little local pub! Curtis is always super welcoming to us and we always have a fab time. Our only advice is to thicken up the gravy for Sunday dinner ;-)

It was for a Xmas 3 course meal & we got Good Service + Good Food

Based on Boxing Day pre- booked meal- totally disgusted as they could not fulfill our pre- order on the day and one main course was overcooked and burnt?! Amateur and should not open for Christmas if you cannot service it correctly and fulfill orders and you also asked for deposits to secure the booking- what a joke!

We came to the bluebell inn on Christmas Eve for a meal as a group of 10, which included 3 small children - we had pre-booked a table. It was really, really busy in the pub and despite pre-booking, we were stood for about 15/20 mins waiting to be seated, which was difficult, as the pub was busy and we were a large group and kept getting in the way of staff carrying food and other members of the public. Once we were seated however, the service was good, food came out quick and was tasty. We would come back.

A birthday treat from daughter, lovely place, they allowed our dog in, though its a certain area for dogs, water supplied for him, very enjoyable.

Lovely lunch with Santa, the food was brought out quickly for the kids, although they complained that the chips weren’t very nice. Santa came around to say hello, then sat down with Mrs Claus to have a photo and to give the kids a present each. It was a lovely day, would have been nice to have had some Christmas music playing whilst waiting and eating

One young barman gave great service, he was the only member of staff to give decent service, the rest was awful. We waited an hour for our meals to arrive, what a disappointment! Small helpings of cold, below average , overpriced food. We will never return here.

Had a lovely meal with family on 23rd November. The food came quickly, was cooked well and served warm. We were Served by Imogen who was really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. We will come again.

We were there to celebrate our daughters birthday along with her husband and our grandchildren. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was excellent as was the service.

Came on a Tuesday night for our tea, and we were really happy with the food and the service. Heidi who served us was really helpful, my girlfriend is coeliac and she really looked after us. They made sure everything was gluten free and made it feel like it was no hassle at all. Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you.

Went for a meal and drinks last Friday. It wasn’t the pleasant evening we expected because the band they had set up in the bar was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation or easily order from the bar! We gave up on drinks in the end as we couldn’t shout loud enough for the staff to hear!

Been twice in the last two weeks as we had our son here for a holiday and as they had 30% off mains vouchers that came in handy. had cheddar,leek and potato pie, not bad just a little stodgy, southern fried chicken burger with bacon came with a gravy and fries and cowboy burger and fries both seemed to enjoy them .

The only place that me and my friends meet up for a meal and a catch up. The Bluebell cater for meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans and that's brilliant. The staff are alway so plesent and helpful.

The atmosphere was great, the service at the bar was excellent and the bar tender remembered my order which was amazing I had a an exceptional experience thank you

Imogen made us feel very welcome and rearranged a table for us with no notice. Super helpful and conscious of our son’s allergies when running our order. Food was fab. Thank you!

Rude table service. Over cooked food. Cold Sunday lunch. No cutlery. AWFUL. HAD TO WAIT FOR FOOD AND DRINK. LONGER THAN ANYONE THAT ORDERED AT THE SAME TIME. LOTS OF FOOD WASTED FROM A LOT OF OTHER TABLE. NOT HAPPY.

Amazing food and service. Been to the bluebell a couple of times now and we have never had a bad experience. The service is always great, happy smiley staff and the food is always lovely. The food is a cut above chain type pubs (green king/hungry horse etc), well cooked, warm and delicious. Imogen served us and the service was impeccable. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. 5stars all round

Congratulations chef, you managed to overcook a chicken thigh, which meant the breast was practically sawdust. Broccoli wasn’t al dente, it was undercooked, roast potatoes were questionable, not bad if you market them as boiled potatoes. I know this restaurant isn’t exactly fine dining but I’d be ashamed if I sent that dish out to a customer. Kids enjoyed their sausages 👍.

***Update*** OUR BLUE BELL IS BACK 💕💕. The last time we went was 2-3 years ago. The food was average, the drinks expensive & the tables hadn’t been cleared, it was disgusting, that was after giving it a 2nd chance from the review below this. We swore we would never go back. But over the last few months we have heard good reports so went last night & we were very relieved to see it back to the place it used to be. We will be back 💕💕 ****Post from 2-3 Years ago*** What's happened to our Beloved BlueBell!! It's been the Mainstay of the Estate since the beginning & has always been excellent. We called today & had a Pint of Estrella & a Rose Wine. We were going to have food too but when we saw the price of Drinks at £12.25 for the 2 we drank up & walked out. The Car Park seems to look emptier each time we pass by. We expected it to be be really busy as it's the Platinum Jubilee - it was virtually empty & only a few people outside in the Beer Garden. It's sad to say if things don't change I can see them closing. 😢😢

We came for sunday Dinner it was beautiful, we were a little late in the afternoon but Curtis was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. My partner has a food allergy Curtis made sure to take that order first so that there was no confusion, we will be visiting again and recommending that our family and friends come too.
