Subway in Rotherham

I really enjoyed the food at the Straiton Subway . The philly steak sub was very good with good quality fresh filling . The meatballs in a tomato sauce were also very nice with the melted cheese on top. A big thanks to Emma and Kieran for their fast and friendly customer service making it a great dining experience. Well done .

The worst subway I have ever had, the bread was solid, I only received half of my order and most of it was cold. Will not be ordering again.

Stood there for about 10 minutes waiting to get served, so we just left there was no sort of communication amongst them all while they were working

Ordered foot long meal, Coca Cola not delivered. At same time ordered a Classic BMT Salad. No Meat given. Next time I want a Subway, I will order a Big Mac

Where to start. No bread at 12pm? Got my waffle fries freezing cold? Terrible service. Worst subway I’ve been in and I go regularly across uk

Exceptionally slow service - 25 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Priority openly being given to online orders even when the queue was getting longer. No acknowledgement of wait time from any staff member. Order flung across to the till with no care or attention.

12pm on a Sunday so walked in, two teenagers must have jumped up from their TikTok session and smirked at us, they thought it was funny that there was no bread. They told us we could wait 20 minutes but apparently messed up this batch anyway and burnt the bread. Would be another hour before anyone got food from this establishment. I fear for the future of our country with this generation growing up.

Always use this subway as the staff are always really polite and friendly. And like a laugh especially Lewis as he’s as crazy as me lol but makes a really nice atmosphere in the store. The new girl Beth is really pleasant.

Very slow service at peak times. Prioritising Just Eat orders whilst customers have been waiting over 14 mins to be served. Not ideal when many peoples lunch break is 30 mins and you also have to eat the food. Music in store is too loud and staff are not regularly changing gloves.

I got a Chicken Tikka sub and it was really tasty, they had all the salad option which was great as some subways run out, and the servers were nice

Not been here since 2019 remembered that not much options was available everytime nothing was in stock But went today was happy with my visit as I managed to get my full order what I Asked for 3 foot long veggie patties and all the veg and salad and 2 types of sauces todays staff who served me was fast and friendly.

Honestly if I could give the service 0 stars I would!! Slowest most unorganised establishment I’ve been in. One guy moving at a literal snails pace who took my order, made my partners sandwich then walked away for a drink (no issues with this it’s a very hot day) but then he proceeded to take the next two peoples order after forgetting entirely about my sandwich and made eye contact me with several times, he could clearly see I was waiting. 4 staff members on and all absolutely clueless. There was one person infront of me when I went in and it still somehow took 20 minutes to make two sandwiches. Beyond ridiculous. The guy on sandwiches needs to be put in the back or something bc there’s no reason why it took him 5 minutes to put a few slices of ham on one sub.

“I have had to remove my previous review and edit at the bottom and add this review again”. This place has really gone down hill, it was quite ok how it was before, then all of a sudden there’s a new franchise owner put into the place, he seems to own musselborough too, the owner is great at standing around ordering his staff about, he’s absolutely great at standing around talking about himself to his customers letting everyone know he’s just brought the place he’s the new owner bragging. Maybe he didn’t realise he was speaking to a person who owns 5 successful companies and thought all of his business ethos was utter garbage. The new owner doesn’t help his new staff that have no experience. In front of me now on 3 occasions people have walked out after ordering and waiting, this was whilst the new owner was standing there, what did he do in front of a shop full of customers when his staff were crumbling? He ran into the back room and shut the door, the owner has no customer or staff skills at all skills at all, seems like he used daddy’s money and got himself a subway franchise. If you order for delivery from there you won’t get your order for at least an hour if not more, as the new owner seems to think it’s ok leaving drivers waiting around for orders as he fulfils customers orders first, forgetting that the order ticket is also a customer. There fore ordering for lunch is out of the question for anyone at work. And ordering from the premises is pointless as they may have stock in but you won’t get what you’ve ordered. “Also it’s amazing how it’s the new staff that are giving this Branch its good reviews on google, these are fake reviews fake 5 stars to dupe unsuspecting customers in, terrible business etiquette. The franchise owner is thanking his own staff for giving false reviews, yet can not reply to genuine reviews, genuine comments or genuine concerns”.

Food also cold due to delay. Not impressed at all.

Ordered 4 times and they never get the order right, waste of money

Got the breads wrong! Ordered white Italian for my child and got herby bread which she will not eat! Also barely any tuna on it!! Absolute disgrace

Freezing cold and hardly any meat in the sandwich. The hot sandwich was in the same bag as the freezing juice - this is the only place I’ve been to which doesn’t have common sense to separate hot and cold.

Ordered a salad and had a sub delivered

Food was freezing cold when delivered and never got the 2 bottles of coca-cola that I ordered.

I never received my foot long meal deal. All I got was a bottle of oasis and a cookie.

Staff didn't seem to have a clue what was going on. Missing ingredients, items not toasted, tables dirty. Said they were not able to make a kids ham and tomato sub with no tomato...so we'd have to pick it out! Also got overcharged as the guy at the till quite clearly didn't know what he was doing.

my food came the sandwich had no lettuce or sweet corn on it , i got an oasis when i ordered a coke , and my crisps weren’t right either i would like a refund

One sandwich was NOTHING like what we ordered but no refund as it’s edible. Maybe edible for most people but my daughter can’t eat a couple of the items and just removing them wouldn’t solve the problem as they were embedded in the mayo. Not impressed at all with paying for something that had to be thrown away. What’s the point ordering what you want if they just give you whatever they like?

One day they have no staff and you waiting half an hour . The next time full crewed but have no bread . Can't make it up

Avoid, sandwiches looked like they did 12 rounds with Mike tyson.. the lettuce looked like it came from Henry the 8th's bin. In all seriousness, these subs were slapped together. Filling was mainly on wrapper and not the sandwiches , I asked for toasted this was ignored, and then to top it, the meals had no drinks . I am disappointed for the price of these deals

Driver never even knocked on the door just left my food sitting outside

20 minutes to even get to the point of ordering the sandwiches, we’re out of lots of things including sweetcorn which is surly something quick and easy to refill, asked nicely for some extra beef but on the side and was met with a curt “ No” and when asked why the man replied “ because I’m the manager and I said so “

I ordered one thing but got another completely wrong order, couldn't get through to restaurant at all, I had far far better quality from same company ( but franchised ) further down road, I don't like to complain but this was bad quality,, certain small ingredient items were missing too, very poor as I was looking forward to it.

It was half an hour late and changed time three times. The wedges were undercooked and were missing seasoning. There was also missing cheese and sauce from one of the foot longs.

Took an hour 20 to arrive when we live five minutes from the store Ordered Ben and Jerry's ice cream not sent Wrong cheese and unasked for veg on roll one Wrong bread on both rolls Daughter didn't eat roll one just wasted Bad experience all round

My order was completely wrong and ended up with food my daughter was allergic too

Ordered meatless Philly steak on hearty Italian should have came with double cheese, onions, peppers and sauce it came on horrible smelling herb bread the only filling in it was the meatless steak looked absolutely disgusting went straight in the bucket tried to phone subway rang rang and rang!!! No answer!!!! Absolutely shocking £14 for nothing but a juice and a cookie!!!!!!

Poor experience! Last time I went there was no bread at all. This time there was no ham and no tomato, these are basics! Still the same price though. There were a number of flies sitting on the food. To be avoided

Have it 2* coz at least I ate something. 1* for the service and the other for understanding that times are hard. So basically this branch never has ingredients for the food we like. Has different folk who get drafted in who are used to their own shops and not this one. If ever there's a reason why Subway is going down, I can see it clearly with this branch. Staff is good though trying to keep it afloat. Wifey didn't want to return to this branch as she knows that it never has anything. You can tell staff are struggling and not their fault. The other day there was only 1 worker and today 2 but still wasn't as smooth as it should be. Buying a footlong sandwich meal deal that you didn't want in the first place is a bit not nice as you would have travelled and then forced to get something. Subway please sort this branch out.

This is a joke i have ordered sun bites sweet chilli and use have gave me a sweet chilli sauce in a tub and gave me pepsi max instead of regular pepsi

Waited almost 2 hours from when i put the order through, It has came and almost everything from my order is missing. It is an absolute joke! this happens every single time you order something is missing but never has it been this much!! I have lost out on about £20 from this!

One of the sandwich artists locked all the customers in the shop, this is all the more concerning with their lacklustre attitude to the toaster, letting it go at least 10 seconds over on the timer, there could have been a serious fire with all the customers trapped inside.

Shocking standard for their prices!

Absolute joke. Our subs were made incorrectly (tomato added when unwanted and the other had peppers missing) and they were half wrapped and thrown in the bag. 3 of the cookies were missing and the 2 we did get were thrown in the bag unwrapped. Absolutely unreal.

Food was cold, parts of it were missing, drink tasted like it was drank then remade using water and OJ and I paid extra for a a bag of Doritos instead of the nachos I asked for

I like subway usually and have been to many but this is the worst one by far, the only time I walked out without a sandwich. One useless staff member, another stressed and angry one. I waited 20 mins then walked out cos it wasn’t worth waiting cos it looked run down. After I left the guy locked the door because the queue was too long and then more people were trying to leave but were locked in. Go to BAYNES next door instead

I went in a couple of days ago around 10.30am to get 2 salad boxes, on entry there was 2 members of staff sitting at 2 tables. The woman said, we've no bread for 15/20mins - but there was a rack full of bread behind the counter and I said it was fine as I was in for a salad box. When I got to the counter there was hardly any salad available and the only meat that was out was chicken tikka and the steak. The man who was serving me said we don't have turkey or ham because we've not prepared it yet so I told him to just leave it. Very poor service, store isn't great and the woman looked like she'd rather be anywhere in the world but there. Wouldn't recommend this store at all.

Was missing items and no answer when I called to notify them a side and foot long where not in the bag.

Food arrived late the delivery drivery said shop was busy and they were prioritising eveyone else in the shop first. Then when I opened the bag, food was missing. The food that was there was all wrong. My cookie was the wrong cookie and the sub was on the wrong bread, hadn't been toasted, didn't have the salad I had asked for and there was no sauce on it. Very disappointed with this

Food was cold even though specified toasted, food was delivered squashed up drink and side were missing from order wrong sauce was placed on sub delivered around 30/40 mins later than specified even though driver logged he was at store.
