Costa Coffee in Rotherham

says was delivered but I never received on my ward and I paid a tip too very disappointed to be honest 😞

First time here. Very busy so if you’re autistic like me avoid. Very VERY slow service. Waited nearly half hour just to have a toastie heated. Toilets clearly don’t get cleaned regularly. Wet floor. Tissue everywhere. Smells bad too. There was also a fly in my drink too!!!! AVOID!!!!

Was ordered to arrive for 09.05 and arrived 09.25

Since costa has closed two nearby costa coffee shop. Forced to come to drive thru cafe so everyone come here. 3 times come to get a coffee. No table. Que at the till. 2 chairs having signs on out of use on a tue at 11am. Why close the other 2 cafes when it's obvious there was plenty of business. I'm no longer trying again. I'm going to Starbucks

the mac and cheese tasted like it was cooked in an oven that had been burned. inedible just tastes rank, not like it usually tastes

This is twice in a row where I've received the wrong order or missing items, this is unacceptable, I will no longer be ordering from this place, I ordered a latte and a flatbread, but the flatbread was missing, leaving me starving.

again my app says delivered but I've not received it.

I ordered a caramel iced whipped latte to take out, no caramel sauce in the latte, staff lack manners and basic customer service skills, worst Costa I have been to, save your money and go to Starbucks.

2nd time this has happened - croissant is not on the order. Written clearly in notes if the croissants aren’t available then to cancel the order but clearly this instruction is hard to follow

I come here at least three times a month be it through the drive through or sitting in. Never had a bad experience with anything. Staff are lovely and friendly.

everytime I order from here lately I get substituted something. I ordered an egg mayo sandwich for my child and I received an egg, mushroom and spinach bap. I can't even get a refund from just eat because you've messed up my order so many times they no longer believe me. sort yourselves out costs

The cake was just put in a bag, and the portion size was small not worth the money, hence the four stars.

Normally a good experience. How ever today I encountered a young lady that made a mistake with my order and instead of making the situation easy she Sed I was wrong and gave me the wrong drink! I wasn’t in the mood for an argument being Sunday! So I took the drink almost at the bottom of it and got this! Wow made me gip!!!!!!

food was lovely and hot when arrived, tasted delicious my only complaint is i wasn’t a massive fan of the mocha chocolate frappe it tasted strange but other than that everything was amazing, i adore this costa

Quiet afternoon not too busy at 2.30.. Good atmosphere and friendly staff

No free seats when visiting on a Saturday morning and a big queue. Too cold to be outside so we left without purchasing anything.

Ordered a bacon bap and there was barely any bacon on there and ordered a chocolate cake slice and was only a tiny slice. Not happy at all especially with the price I pay and I’m a regular customer.

Located in the heart of parkgate this little Costa was fully stocked, plenty of seating inside and out and had really friendly staff. Me and my wife had the Terry's chocolate orange hot chocolate and a muffin each. Both really tasty and an excellent addition to your menu!! My only issues are, not much of a view (,can't be helped, I know, so not a complaint) but I think costa should consider their rota as there seemed to be only two staff on and as costumers came in quite thick at one point there was a lot of pots out. Absolutely not the staffs fault at all as they were working double time to maintain customer control, but I feel 1 extra member of the team this review would have definitely been a 5*

Asked for a hot chocolate and got a luke warm one as the syrup did not melt into the nor did the cream on top. Not a all the service I expected. purely a waste of money for what normally is a really nice drink when hot

Hit and miss depending on who makes the drinks. Tried a popcorn frappe and it was really nice. Had the same again on a few days later and it was bland. Rowdy atmosphere and not much change from £10 for 2 drinks.

Brilliant service! Lovely hot coffee and ice cold latte. Cakes packaged nice and everything was there. Thank you, delivery driver was polite.

We ordered a cappuccino and a flat white and cinnamon roll , and they tasted very nice, and the session was calm and enjoyable

I can’t actually comment on the quality as my order of 4 drinks came with only 1 drink and it wasn’t for me! I tried to call the store but because it managed through just eat I have to wait for a refund from them. Surely checks should be done on orders being collected, I get more than one delivery happens but there should be something to prevent this droid happening. Whoever has my order hope you enjoyed the 3 free drinks!!

Not a place i visit mutch bit expensive for what you have

Our order was missing the cinnamon bun we then wasted our time visiting the store to be told by staff they don't have any today and they wouldn't offer any sort of replacement. No attempt to rectify or to add a note to our order to say these where not in stock causing a wasted journey. Terrible communication from Costa/staff. Great delivery driver.

Went with my daughter and granddaughter, was very busy, and not much room for the pram, we did get a seat inside. I bought a cup for on the go and my daughter noticed it was dented, no hesitation for them to change it

We use Costa often. And it's pleasant. The kid who served me yesterday obviously wanted to be somewhere else. Never smiled once. Only spoke about 5 words. None of them were thank-you. And I had to remind him to put my cheese and bean toasties in the cooker thing after he took the last customers order out. Apart from that it was good and we shall go back again. Everyone can have an off day.

Call in now and again. Usually just for a drink. Has very nice hot chocolate the hubby always has tea. It wasn't busy when we visited was clean and tidy and the young lad was brushing up the floor of bits and spraying the tables between customers. Has a drive through but we sat in. Also has toilets and an outside eating area. It has recently had a re vamp. A fetching salmon pink colour and matching seats , very nice it looks too

Food completely cold, drinks cold toastie is cold gone straight to the bin. Delivery time kept being moved forward was originally 1.45 turned up at 2.50, couldn’t even cancel the order can’t get through to customer service at justeat or costa. Absolute joke

Is all standard Costa stuff, decent coffee and M&S food. This one can get fairly busy especially around 10-12 in the morning on the weekends.

Me , husband and 8 year old always get a costa whist out shopping and usually love it not last night, we visited costa in Rotherham on the retail park and the service was shocking. We ordered 3 drinks we were never asked what size we want so we’re just given smalls. I ordered hot chocolate but wasn’t offered cream , staff were either on there phones or totally rude and to top it off I was told if I scanned my app I’d get a free drink on my next visit but no free drink showing on my app so don’t even think she scan it right , would not return to this costa

Very pleasant staff, but the seating area is very dirty, floor covered in food and 80% of the chairs are stained. We watched 3 different people enter and turn up their noses at the state of it. Not somewhere we visit often the shopping centre, but Costa we do and this is the worse we have been in!

I dropped into Costa coffee in Parkgate today with my carer and friend. They got their drinks easily. As it was cool I fancied a hot chocolate without milk as I have an allergy to milk. The staff flatly refused to even think about how it was possible to do a black hot chocolate. Their excuse, it is made with powder and would clump... They refused to look at me and explain or even listen to how it could be done (using the got water from the tea pot water dispenser). My carer's cappuccino was shocking! Like warm frost to write her directly. Surely a global company can suit people's allergies by having black, or no milk, hot chocolate! The staff could be friendlier and the coffee could be far better

Waitress taking the order was not concentrating, too busy chatting over order microphone. Frostinis poor.. no taste ....no problem getting fresh ones and waitress very obliging....but would not order again. Cinnamon Brioche dry... overall very disappointed

Love Costa, but today has raised many issues! My daughter in law had an allergy to eggs and milk, today we decided to buy a cake with our coffee, so asked if a product was vegan, the reply was yes, to double check asked again if it was vegan, yet again told yes! When we sat down checked on Costa website to find contains both eggs and milk!!!!! Yes they did change the product however if we had not checked the website we would be at hospital!!!!! This was Parkgate Rotherham!!!!

Me & my visted costa drive thu 4 the 1st time & I would say it's a lot quicker than going into then chain of store i had a medium hot checolatw & blueberry muffin my mate had a cheese toasty we als took advantage of the offer that is on at moment 50% off food

Costa Coffee Drive Through. I’ve been here several times recently and been disappointed every time, the guy doesn’t seem to know the difference between different drinks. All I get is the same scalding hot flat milk in every drink. More training needed

Really friendly staff at this branch. Coffee & food always a predictable good standard. I like that I don’t get ‘specials’ in my face. They will try to upsell but usually in terms of a larger cup can’t complain as sometimes like today when I have to go back for a 2nd cup. Lovely knowing smile when I said big one would go cold on me! Now back to the car & fight for space on the road. The way these staff are with young children today amazes me. They are truely in the Christmas spirit

I have visited this establishment on 3 occasions, each time giving it the benefit of the doubt, hoping there was an improvement each time. However, the coffee is terrible ... they try to up-sell by giving you double shot lattes when you've asked for normal latte. (Happened twice now so not just a mistake!) The second occasion I took the coffee back, staff grunted at me that this is how it is! Erm no, i've had plenty of Costas in my time. Sadly with Costa Coffees these days there doesn't seem to be as much gluten free choice, they have gone backwards! Here they could offer me nothing!

Staff are very friendly, efficient and welcoming. They helped to make mothers day special. Will definitely be returning!

Lovely coffee and I love Costa’s carrot cake. Nice seating it’s just a shame that it wasn’t quite cleaned when we went to sit down and the toilets were quite smelly too.

For mixed here. Sometimes good, sometimes slow other times bad. It is never consistent and seems to have a high turn over of staff

Coffee hot tasty as normal in Costa seating basic not comfortable to relax in it is a small unit .. outside main bus stops so sometimes it a struggle to get in if you have a pram its difficult to get in or out with people waiting for buses

I visited costa coffee with some friends and my 2 year old son. The place was disgusting and the fruit that they were selling was covered in mould in a fruit bowl on the counter. The coffee was freezing cold really bad experience. I emailed...

Can be a little slow at times to be served as sometimes staff are chatting to other customers. OK if you're shopping and fancy a coffee break down at Parkgate, but otherwise wouldn't go out of my way to visit here

Called for a coffee and a cake this afternoon with a friend, after looking at the cake section we soon changed our mind as there was flies on them, we told a member of staff and she said it couldn't be helped!! Maybe cover them...

Just popped in for a quick drink, not busy at all, place was dreadfully untidy inside & out. Dirty pots everywhere & floors covered in litter, both on the customer side & behind the counter. Staff just weren’t bothered...the worst Costa I have ever visited...

The restaurant wasn’t what you call clean, with sticking to floor, tables didn’t look brilliant, put it down to them being busy, but when sat down people on another table were commenting about the dust/muck around the edges of floor which didn’t look like a...

Well what can I say, I was waiting in the que to be served and on the counter there was 2 cakes on cake stands with no covers over "the covers were at the side of the cake stand" there was a number of flys...
