The best restaurants serving Default food in Sedgemoor South West

Delicious Sunday lunch, not been for a while but food was really good so would definitely recommend.

So i am overriding the review that follows this. Have not been here since but our food this time was excellent. Sweet and sour Cantonese style ...and was delicious. Old review - disappointing quite watery, used before and has been great . Husbands dish meat very tough !

Kathy as always was happy & friendly and instantly we feel relaxed when she's about, having adhd I get quite uncomfortable in restaurants, but we will keep coming back because the food is top notch and the staff are amazing.

Great little find, quick & friendly service. Food was great, swapped the fried bread for toast without any problems, definitely recommend

5 of us visited there on Sunday for a carvery, very disappointed. The gravy was too watery and didn't cover the veg due to its consistently. None of the veg had any taste, if you closed your eyes you would not of been able to guess what you were eating. There was a white sauce on the cauliflower, the cheese was missing, never known a roast potato to have no taste and not crisped up enough. Will not eat there again!

Here for our daughters surprise 40th birthday lunch. We had a lovely secluded room - absolutely perfect for 11 of us plus dog! The food we had, and the service from all the staff was fabulous. We couldn’t have asked for better. A big thank you to all the staff for making it such a memorable occasion for us. My steak was perfectly cooked- compliments to the chef. We can’t wait to visit again!

Very helpful with gluten free and very good quality . Chips are excellent. Veg pasty and cheese pasty’s are nice (gluten) .gluten free fish really nice and tasty

To be fair the four of us all enjoyed a light lunch here today. The service was excellent and the food was very good I just felt that the prices were a little over the top. Overall a good experience

So we are from the North of the country and are visiting the mother for the weekend, having travelled for 4 hours to get here we decided on ordering a Chinese takeout rather than eating in a restaurant. Found this place ordered and collected. Well how disappointed we all were! I have never seen spring rolls like this, all batter with no filling and went for the large ones too so we could have a generous filling! The mixed special fired rice was disgusting, more like a risotto rice, all soggy! The prawn crackers were ever so greasy and extremely thick! The salt and chilli chips were just like plain ones! The whole meals were shocking, will never return. Didn’t even waste my time taking pictures. We made toast at home and it was so much better.

Stayed at this pub. Overnight. Bar staff useless.no direction of where to book in. Owners were awfull. No people skills. Dont have the continental breakfast. Room needs updating. Watch the male owner he likes to swear.

Tasty, fast service. Nothing to really rave about, it suits its purpose.

Good range of drinks, dog friendly and good outdoor seating. Low priced food but poor quality (e.g. burgers from a can, dry pizza and cold chips)

Very friendly and efficient staff. We're on holiday for a week & our intention was to have meals here. Unfortunately the Hungry Horse chain has a 'no dogs' policy. Very disappointing especially in a holiday resort. Too cold to eat outside so we are spending our money elsewhere.

Very bad for vegetarians. Don’t order aubergine dupiaza. Sadly, I won’t go back. Nice staff. Avoid aubergine or okra dupiaza Had to return it, not like me but I possible to eat
