The best restaurants serving Default food in Bude North and Stratton Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

My family decided to have an ice cream whilst in Bude town and when visiting the area we always go to Taste of Cornwall. Having recently found out I am allergic to Soya and intolerant to cows milk I resigned myself to the fact that I probably wouldn't be having anything. Far from it. The gentleman serving pointed out the dairy free choices and when I mentioned the allergy to soya he said that none of the dairy free had Soya and gave me the tub lids to check. Once I had selected the flavour he then pointed out that the cones have soya in them so it would be better for me to have a tub, which I did. He could not have been more helpful and it meant that I could enjoy ice cream along with my family.

Was recommended to go and it’s the best ever tapas I’ve had. I’ve never seen so many options on the tapas menu and the chef should be very proud of his work as was fantastic

Worst pasty I’ve eve had - very dry pastry with not a lot of filling.

Family run restaurant reopened under BSK and open Wednesday - Saturday with Brunch from 9.00 - 14.00 and Street Food from 16.00 - 21.00. Located in the centre of Bude on two levels, ground floor “ bench seating” and first floor comfortable table and quality seating. Has excellent free broadband. Food is excellent and is fully licensed and the owners provide a warm welcome to everyone. We have eaten twice since they opened this week, each time in the morning, and the quality, at a reasonable price, has made this a must eat location going forward. Highly recommended and a great addition to Bude’s high reputation for food. Looking forward to attending the Street Food soon.

Lovely little bakery in Bude City Centre, fantastic staff with a fantastic atmosphere, options to eat inside as well as out (which is helpful for dog owners), very reasonable prices and probably the best sausage rolls I've ever devoured 😁

What a gem of a place this is tucked away in a side Street! Lovely, fresh, home cooked food, served on “hot plates”. I had the bubble and squeak with poached egg and a flat white coffee, one word, SUPERB. Would highly recommend this small but beautiful eatery! Well done Buffy”s, keep up the excellent work! 10/10!

Lovely restaurant situated on the canal side with plenty of paid for parking nearby. The staff were welcoming and attentive during our visit. We didn’t eat a full meal on this occasion but the food being served to others looked very good. The cakes we had were yummy and good value. With seating inside and out, it’s worth a try.

Food was a soggy mess and when we reported the issue twice we was advised come back again and they will correct the issue next time. No thanks!

Prices are over the top for bottled cider/beer and parking is not free for disabled badges and well over prices

Lovely full English breakfast today at Urchins Bistro. We were lucky to get a table, it was so busy. Everything cooked fresh and to order, would definitely recommend.

This is our 2nd visit this year, Hotel and staff very friendly nice to see familiar faces always have a lovely welcome, room 6 has fab view of the beach and see.

Friendly and welcoming and offering either a take away or sit down meal - there is seating both inside and out. The service is friendly and unhurried. The menu is small and selective with a range of jacket potatoes, salads and specials of the day. There are some delicious home made takes to follow. A great place for a light lunch.

The advertisment aludes to the room having a TV and bathroom but I'm afraid the the room has neither... also the room was very cold - probably due to having sash windows so this is understandable - and the radiator did not work. The advertisement also stated 'Breakfast included' - not that it was continental only. Regarding the continental breakfast... a partly sliced loaf of bread was left overnight on the breadboard going stale, no croissants or pastries and the satsumas were dehydrated and beyond edible.
