This place has fantastic staff and amazing roast lunches. They are dog friendly and human friendly too. I cannot speak more highly of an eatery that serves good wine too. A☆☆☆☆☆

The perfect treat for Mothers' Day. It's always nice to have someone else cook a roast lunch but usually I find I could have done better, or it wasn't worth the money. Not at Buffy's! Everything is beautifully cooked and presented - on hot plates - with a good selection of vegetables, crispy roast potatoes and the tenderest of meat. The staff are lovely, helpful and attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxed, homely and tolerant of children and dogs. Looking forward to trying the weekday menu!

What a gem of a place this is tucked away in a side Street! Lovely, fresh, home cooked food, served on “hot plates”. I had the bubble and squeak with poached egg and a flat white coffee, one word, SUPERB. Would highly recommend this small but beautiful eatery! Well done Buffy”s, keep up the excellent work! 10/10!

Our first visit . I had veggie breakfast and my hubby had full breakfast. It looked like it was all freshly cooked and it was so delicious. Very friendly and we didn’t wait for very long. All at a very good price… will definitely recommend and we will be going back.

We have visited Buffys twice this week for lunch when we were in Bude. We came to Buffys originally because it is dog friendly and we had our four small dogs with us. On both occasions the service was great, the food was really nice with good portion sizes and was reasonably priced. We would happily visit Buffys again if ever we visit Bude in the future. Thoroughly recommended!

Wow! The BEST Sunday lunch ever! We visit Bude ever year & come without fail to Buffy’s for our Sunday dinner! Such tasty food, the meats, veg, yorkies always cooked to absolute perfection! We absolutely cannot recommend enough! Stephen was an absolute gem! Amazing front of house service, was quick with all the extra sauces & gravy top ups for the kids! Wine served with Sunday dinner deal is absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend & can’t wait to see you all next October❤️ Thank you Buffy’s! Your Sunday lunch is the best we have ever ever had!

Went to Buffy’s for Sunday Lunch and was not disappointed, best pork roast for a long time plus rhubarb crumble for dessert. Great friendly staff and the place is dog friendly giving out dog treats. Spotted that they do sweet or savoury crepes so I I will back again. Great place to go in Bude for great quality food.

Wow are we glad we found this little gem ⭐️ We were looking for Crepes & spotted the little sign & were pleasantly surprised by the quality of dishes served 😀 We saw a family having amazing waffles & ice cream with caramel biscoff, another the pancake maple bacon stack and we choose one savoury garlic mushrooms 🍄 & one lemon n sugar which were delicious 😋 and complimented with a great size cup if tea 🍵 Worth sitting inside for on a sunny day as not much outside seating. Very friendly server, good value & hoping to get there again before we leave Thankyou 🥰

It was a 40mn wait for our Sunday roast to arrive. The vegetables were okay (though the parsnips were too hard). The roast beef however was so hard we couldn't get through it with a knife! Wer'e still gobsmacked as other visitors seemed to have been able to eat their roasts and even seemed to have enjoyed it! Maybe they all had the pork roast instead. We won't be returning here.

Excellent Sunday Lunch in this bijou cafe, tucked away in Belle Vue Lane (near Boots) So many places to get a roast, but this one is particularly recommended. Very small establishment (20 covers), so just choice of beef, pork or nut roast. Perfect roasties, 6 vegetables, decent Yorkshire and plenty of meat with a tasty gravy. Efficient service from pleasant staff.

I was very disappointed with the food. It wasn't hot and was very expensive. The pot of tea had a horrible stale water taste. Maybe they were having a bad day but I wouldn't recommend it

On our trip to Bude we booked a table at Buffy's for a Sunday roast and we are so glad we did. This is a beautiful small restaurant set off the main road in Bude. We were greeted and seated and offered a menu. Beautifully efficient. The drinks are locally sourced, as is the food. Provanence is important to Buffy's. We ordered the roast lamb and it was served in no time. The whole meal was delicious, right down to the cauliflower cheese and gravy. It was such a large meal we didn't think we could fit anything else in, but the lemon posset was too tempting to resist. The chef, Dave even came out to chat to us. He was explaining where the locally sourced ingredients were from and how he serves gluten free dishes too, even yorkshire puddings. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cost too, which is rare these days. We will be back. I've head their waffle and crepes are great too.
