We popped in here on the 23rd sept with my daughter , son in law and grandson, it was a dull day so we went in for a coffee, now this is going to sound nuts to anyone who does not know the Keto way of eating but basically it’s a low carb high fat diet and to someone like me who’s diabetic it’s very good as carbs turn into sugar, anyway this is the nuts bit, I can’t drink milk but I am allowed cream in my coffee (cream is very low carb) anyway asked lovely lady if I could have cream in my coffee and not milk, she said she’d try anyway I only wanted a small amount, they had no double Cream to pour but they had whipping to pour which was just the ticket. And coffee was lovely, I’d like to thank the staff working that day cos I am sure they thought I’d lost the plot but they went out of their way to help me. Couldn’t recommend this lovely little bakery/cafe enough . Thank you girls.

We've used this bakery twice so far whilst standing in bude. We had finger rolls for our bbq first visit then pasties & home made battenburg cake which were both lovely. Lots of choice of gorgeous cakes.

Best pasty ever! My Mum and I stopped here to get a take away pasty, cheese and onion. We both agreed it is the best pasty we have ever eaten and can’t wait to go back for another soon. It was fresh from the oven, lovely pastry and tasty filling. Yummy!

Hate in this day and age paying 30-40% more for food just to be able to sit at a table. Cakes we had were ok but had better. Staff were friendly and welcoming pricing obviouslynot their fault.

We called in here everyday on our visit to Bude due to the food being sooooo good.We would come for breakfast and have a freshly made bacon and sausage bap to set us up for our day along with a cup of tea. Reasonably priced and such a good bap! The service was great and the ladies would make conversation with you as you’d wait for the food to be cooked. I left without my tea once and when I went back they had kept it aside for me which was very kind of them.We would call in for pastors and both the Cornish and steak and Dunbar pasties. Huge pasties filled to the brim with fillings. For a dessert we had some scones with jam and cream (in no particular order) for the road. These were certainly one of the highlights of the trip: they were soooo tasty that we just had to have them everyday to enjoy them to the max.10/10 from me.

Called in for a bite to eat with my family and found the customer service to be beyond excellent. The food was of really good quality and the restaurant was spotless with tables cleared as soon as they were vacated. this is a must visit next time in the area.ps. the pasties and cream teas were totally worth the extra calories.

It looked very clean and well presented , however the breakfast rolls were not very good , we tried the pasties aswell which were ok but not the best , would not return as the coffee tasted burned aswell , its a shame as the decor was very clean and nice looking.

I had been wandering around Bude with my wife and young son looking for a decent cafe where we could enjoy a cream tea and we were fortunate enough to stumble upon this little place.People may walk past without realising what a nice dining experience it has to offer as it is predominantly a bakery but does have a quite a few tables to accommodate those that wish to sit inside. My wife, son and I were all greeted with a friendly hello by two very pleasant ladies who made us feel very welcome. Despite having a pushchair and it being quite small inside we were never made to feel an inconvenience (which can happen in other places) and they made a real fuss over our little boy. We had two lots of cream teas which were a complete bargain at just over ten pounds for the lot. I couldn’t believe the value for money and the scones were absolutely delicious. All the food in the counter looked equally appetising including well stuffed Cornish pasties, sausage rolls and different quiches etc..I would recommend this little place to anyone and everyone and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Next time we are in Bude we will be visiting again.

The prices to eat in are extortionate and they try and make out it’s for VAT. My prawn baguette wasn’t even a baguette it was a long roll. To take away was £3.10 and to eat in was £6.00!! Why exactly is it double the price?? What a con! Also went to buy a carton of ribena which was 85p to take away and £1.20 to eat in. More ridiculous VAT excuses.

The staff are all really friendly and were smiling and waving with our toddler. She loved her gingerbread man and we enjoyed our cakes. We also bought some pasties to have in our picnic which were great.

We visited several times over a week, for tea/coffee and for lunch. Every visit was excellent: beautiful fresh scones and cakes, freshly made sandwiches and tasty soup. Service was also fast and accommodating of special requests. Only snag was having to queue to order behind bakery counter customers, but this rarely caused a delay.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.

Haven't stayed, but excellent range of well-kept cask ales including normally a couple from Penzance Brewing Co in Crowlas, near Penzance.
