Vegan/Responsibly-sourced Home goods shop, with small Cafe. Fabulous Coffee, Scrumptious Cakes, even GF - couple of tables outside, when the weather is nice. Very friendly Staff, too. The only reason I haven't given it a 5, is because most of the time we come into Bude, it's never open and when it advertises itself as 'open' it still isn't.

Popped in for a bite to eat and ordered 2 x pasties and 2 x hot drinks, asking to sit in to eat at a cost of £24. Upon querying as to why the bill was so high, I was politely informed it was due to eating in, not taking away. They charge approx £5.95 for a large pasty to take out and about £9.50 per pasty to eat in so we were horrified! The hot drinks were OK but the pasties were very basic and not even tasty so we won't be going there again.

Good sized bar right by Crooklets beach with 3/4 different areas with plenty of large screens to enjoy sports. The staff were friendly, fast and efficient. Drinks only on this occasion, however the food, served to others looked good. Plenty of free and paid for parking available. Well worth a try.

The Coachman’s bar is situated within the Falcon hotel overlooking the canal side. With plenty of free and paid for parking nearby. The staff were very welcoming, especially Alan who we were pleased to see had added another year to his tenure. The atmosphere was relaxed and service fast & efficient. We didn’t eat on this visit, but the food served to other customers looked yummy. Dog friendly too. Well worth a visit.

We were in Bude for a day and decided to have fish and chips for lunch. The staff were friendly and served us promptly and the food was very good. Fresh and abundant portions. Inside the restaurant was narrow but stretch out lengthways which wasn’t great but there was enough room for the 5 of us.

Went here with a client for lunch I paid £8.95 for a beef and horseradish sandwich on white bread. Came nicely presented with a side salad and crisps. The sandwich however was two slices of really dry bread and one wafer thin slice of beef. When I complained, the response was " that's how the bread comes in, in the morning". To be honest, if I'd paid £4 I probably would have just thought, you get what you pay for, but nearly £9 for something that I wouldn't eat, and then to be met with that poor level of customer service is not ok.

I cannot understand the bad reviews - we had a truly lovely meal. It was great to finally find a chip shop that caters (in a friendly manner!) for those who need gluten free food - and both the “normal” and GF meals were delicious. I also lucked in as I was given a piece of broken fish to eat whilst we waited for our order! Lovely staff, delicious food - top marks.
