Great selection of cheese and our favourite Cornish pasties by a country mile...light, crispy pastry and good filling. Highly recommended. Staff always amiable and professional.

Sending off a parcel and there were no envelopes left so one staff member gave me a bag and said the staff member of the cheese counter would help me tape it up. This lady however made life very difficult and was very rude to us, making us feel like we were an inconvenience to her. She refused to tape it up again when I asked if we could get another bag so it didn’t rip. Her attitude was horrible. Ended up leaving and sent the parcel through someone else!

I was ‘served’ by a very rude older Scottish lady who was very rude. Everything was a difficultly for her when I asked her for items. Chatted away to other people whilst serving me . Extremely upset by her service. Terrible way to treat anyone.

Every time we go to Bude we get our lunchtime roll here. Staff are always helpful and provide an excellent service. Excellent value too. In the summer they also do excellent ice creams

I visited this store for the first time. The gentleman that helped me was extremely patient, polite and very helpful.

Yes, the staff appear a bit surly, certainly not welcoming. But the jar of Lemon Curd I bought there was delicious - thick, cheesy, lemony heaven. Just like it was 50 years ago. You're forgiven and I don't even resent the 20p you charged me for the face mask you forced me to use to enter the shop! Charming ladies...

No problems on first visit. Lovely sandwich. On second visit staff member ignored me totally for a couple of minutes whilst I stood waiting to be served. The person just stood behind the counter looking in another direction. Second staff member also different staff from first visit also refused to serve me.

Today I come to return a Hermes parcel…before I entered I noticed the very obvious signs saying “no mask no entry” so I popped my head in and asked to buy a mask, I was given one and asked to purchase it at the till…when I arrived at the till I panicked realising that I was only returning a parcel and had a 40p mask to buy…with no purse, the both ladies at the till explained that there was a £1 limit on contactless so in a rush I had to make a purchase…none of this is much of an issue, although if it were me I would have let the customer off 40p for a mask, but what really disappoints me is that fact that then two separate customers walked in without masks on and were not challenged whatsoever. Hugely hugely disappointed in a local shop that I have used for many years.

Approached just as closing... asked if ice cream part was open and got a blunt NO !!! Could of quickly served us.... very poor customer service and a cold attitude from the 2 staff there ... refused to go in after this !!!!!

A superb independent shop. Friendly and warm staff. Stopped off for local cider and a cheeses. Very pleased with the variety of local food. Sad to hear of closures of local cheese suppliers that have ceased trading. Well worth a visit.

This has a bit of everything you could ask for. It's a mini supermarket come deli with a few more bits & Bob's mixed in. Lovely welcome by lady serving. Good choice of cheeses which we will sample whilst we stay in bude. Nice place.

Purchased baps and other items which were delicious. Worth it but only for the bakery items. You can get other items local in Morrisons.

I've used this shop several times and found stuff there that no one else in town stocks. The deli counter is well stocked and the staff all helpful when you cant find things on the pleasantly crowded shelves. Prices are a bit higher than the supermarkets but then so is the quality of the produce, much of it locally sourced.

They offer a good range of local produce. The ham is out of his world. Fresh cream in a range of sizes.

We enjoyed the saffron toast at The Barge cafe and they told us that you could buy it here. We ordered 2 loaves for the next day and they were wonderful. Thank you

What ever you want whenever you want it. This shop is open from early morning until 10pm. Stocks all essentials. Lovely staff, prompt friendly service everytime.

Whenever we are in Bude we head here to stock up on cheese! The Cornish Yarg is amazing! The place is open until late so is a great place to stock up on any late night munchies that you might need!

This shop is always open and always has what you need! They have the most incredible slices of feta and spinach tarts, they sell milk in GLASS (take your bottle back bottles, and are generally what every grocery store should be!!

Ham on the bone ~ a real treat for my carnivorous companion; yum yum ~ tasty cheeses and friendly faces. Nuff said ~

My mum and I stopped by for an ice cream on the way back to our bnb this evening. The lady was very friendly, the portion was fantastic and to top it off the price was very reasonable. We both had the mint choc chip and rum n raisin waffle cone and will definitely be returning for more before we leave!

I love Bude and the first place I head to when I arrive is The Lansdown Dairy for the best pasties ever!There's a little grassed area just across the road with places to sit and watch the world go by. It's gated so safe to let the children play.

This shop has a wide range of goods and is open early and closes late, so ideal for the morning papers and forgotten items. Also sells ice-cream a wide range of cheeses and cold meats, plus vegetables. There is also a freezer full of a wide range of foods. So you need never be stuck. Service is efficient and staff are local and helpful.

The Dairy is an aladins cave of local food/produce - it is nice to be able to support the local economy.

On our recent holiday in bude we decided to try a local ice cream and i'm so glad we found Lansdown Dairy. Its a lovely shop and the staff are really friendly.

Everything you need in this shop . Great cheeses and Deli . The staff are very friendly too . When we go to bude this is the first shop we head to for munchies

Te Ofrecen todo lo que pueda desear, no se puede superar su casa cocinados carnes frías, sus deliciosos rellenos bocata rápido, fruta y verdura fresca, de hecho todo lo que quiera sin ni siquiera ir a un supermercado grande e impersonal.

This is a well-stocked shop that competes extremely well with local supermarkets. Produce from the deli is always fresh and the range of cheeses, olives etc is extensive. Service is quick and the staff, without exception, are friendly.

We always come here for the ice creams & the delicatessen which has totally fantastic cheesecake, flapjacks, sandwiches & very helpful staff.

We used the Lansdown dairy for delivery to the cottage we were staying - which was brilliant. To arrive after a long journey down to Cornwall, it is lovely to have all your food unpacked and in the fridge!We also popped in for bread, cheese and ice creams, a lovely shop!

Everytime we holiday in bude we visit this shop a fair few times. Especially on a Sunday when we forget the shops close early because we are in holiday mode! It's open till 10pm!! Basically if you can't get what you need in this little shop then you probably don't need it. Wonderful selection of local cheeses and homemade products!

We were able to get our Cornwall Magazines, stamps and some delicious locally made cheese, stamps and postcards here. A hidden gem!

Excellent choice of deli counter food, local cheeses , slices of home cooked quiches etc and general groceries and magazines, no need to trek to Sainsburys.. Staff very helpful, prices good

I arrived in Bude late on a Sunday and needed a few essentials, I was happy to find this well stocked store still open with everything I needed at a competitive price.

Have been a few times now and the service is always great. Great selection on their deli. Always busy which prompted us to try, glad we did.

Bought two pasties, one large, one small heated and so enjoyed their great substantial fillings. Hopefully be back to buy some more and to take home at the end of our stay in Bude! Lovely staff and 10% discount with a card received. Thank you

Don't know why TA has this in restaurants, it's a shop, a very good shop with excellent choices of literally everything and great priced Cornish ice cream too

Wat can I say? The ice creams can't be more perfect then it is, the staff are friendly, when something so tasty i don't really care about how much the cost. If u gonna spend money, rather be on something tasty!

Helpful friendly staff, good selection of ice creams at reasonable prices. Good range of chilled wines, beers & ciders.

The sandwiches are lovely, high choice of fillings (highly recommend Mexican chicken) fresh rolls and fresh salad! Great value and friendly staff. I always find the time to pop in for one of their rolls! Really can't fault them.
