Second visit, lovely place, attentive staff, great food and decent coffee…thoroughly recommended…just up the hill towards the estuary

Stopped for a cream tea, scones had no fruit in them which was a disappointment

A brilliant location in Padstow. The views are really good, overlooking the Camel estuary and Padstow harbour. We sat outside because we had our dog with us, but is was very nice day and no complaints there. The service was very slow, it took about 15 minutes for our order to be taken, which was just drinks and a cream tea. The most disappointing thing was that they only offer plain scones. Surely most people prefer fruit scones?

We did not eat here so I cannot comment other than to say it looked good when coming out. We had to wait a few minutes for a table. We had a table outside on a glorious day with amazing views across the harbour. We had coffee that was good and fairly priced. Staff were friendly.

Nice restaurant for lunch, nice views so good on a warm day sitting outside. Dogs are not allowed inside, you have to wait for tables, so it's a bit of a strange experience. The food was good but on the pricey side. I had the stake sandwich, and the quality just misses the price tag bracket for me. The golf is good for an after lunch experience.

Food was alright but massively overpriced. Poached eggs on sourdough toast here is two tiny and not runny eggs and one slice of sourdough for £12. Mini golf was also £9 each for a course that wasn’t imaginative or interesting and was finished in 20 minutes. Wouldn’t bother returning.

Always a great place to stop for coffee and cake.

Poor staff asked to wait for table then gave table to other people forgetting about us standing there with menus in hand. Left and not apology used to be our favourite place

Beautiful restaurant, we sat outside and the view across the harbour is gorgeous. I had a cream tea which was very delicious. The staff were very nice and the toilets were lovely and clean, there looked to be a very nice crazy golf course too

Our 3rd visit on our annual holiday to lovely Padstow. Greens is unique. Set in outstanding location overlooking the harbour. Small dinner menu but exquisite food cooked to perfection. Fab cocktails and lovely staff. Thank you Greens. Even on a rainy evening we thoroughly enjoyed it! Back next year.

We called here with out dogs after having a walk. The views were stunning. Beautiful place to have a meal and drinks in the sunshine. Food and drinks very good quality. Service was amazing.

The restaurant provides an amazing view of Padstow. However, it does get quite hot. The food is good and you are provided with a good choice of food well cooked. However, it lacks atmosphere and although the staff are polite they feel slightly standoffish which is uncomfortable.

A bit disappointed, lovely location, friendly staff, starters were nice but the ribeye steak was as chewy a steak as I’ve eaten. For the price I’d expected better. Mini golf was great though.

Very nice place with a very nice view. Only went for a drink but food looked nice. Dog friendly on the outside area only. The lady that served us was very nice and kind and found us a table outside as quick as possible. Would recommend! :)

Stopped for a quick coffee then returned later for lunch. Efficient, friendly service and very tasty food using excellent ingredients. We sat outside as we had a dog but worth it for the views. Outside seating is mostly well protected even in poor weather.

Drinks are a bit expensive and no beer on draught. Food was good and service was great.

Popped in for a cider and a cream tea after cycling the Camel trail. Staff were friendly and efficient, local products were lively and views over the estuary fantastic. Nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town in Peak season too. Best scone and clotted cream I can remember having. Would definitely come again.

What a lovely place to stop for food and drink along with the dogs. On this occasion, we only stopped off for a quick drink. One of the best oat milk iced lattes my fiancee has had and I'd agree with that as I had a normal iced latte. Such a beautiful view from where we were seated and on another day would of most definitely had food, having watched delicious dishes being brought out to the other tables. The staff were extremely friendly. Highly recommend 👌🏻

Short visit to Padstow, walking past and decided to stop for coffee, if they would accept dogs. They accepted dogs (outside only but really not a hardship in the sun!), the menu demanded we order brunch, so we did. Highly recommended.

This is a very nice location above the harbor. A bit expensive but worth it. We had the rumpsteak ciabatta and the sea bream. Very tasty. Fast and friendly service. I fully recommend this restaurant.

A great spot for the best vies in Padstow, probably the best in Cornwall. Good for just a drink, brekkie, lunch or an evening meal. Great service.

On our annual Padstow trip we always make sure to pop to Green's for at least one lunch, one dinner and a round of crazy golf! The food is always incredible, with fabulous service, a lovely view, and tasty cocktails only adding to the experience. Padstow is blessed with many top restaurants with famous accolades but Green's has always proven our favourite. Their food gives the other chef's a real run for their money, and for even less money! Can't wait to return next year.

Wonderful brekky. Granola was lovely with fresh fruit. We also ordered the French toast with berries and yoghurt and a sausage sarny (gluten free option). Nice 😊

Such a wonderful, relaxed, environment. Dog friendly outside which was great for us as it was out of season and not too busy. Couldn't book outside tables though. Food was absolutely delicious. We came back twice because we knew it was reliable, tasty and just a lovely atmosphere.

Came here on a Saturday lunchtime, the restaurant was buzzing and staff doing a great job to turn tables around as quickly as they could. Food was really good and good value for money. My only criticism was a 330ml can of beer was £5.95 for not a lot of money more I could buy a pint of the same beer up the road. Views were stunning and staff very friendly

Good service, and friendly staff until we complained and got sorry to hear that and no offer of some kind of recompense. Starter of Crevettes was excellent and could highly recommend. Then downhill as the ribeye steak was stringy tough and tasteless. We took it back for the dogs and even they agreed! See pics. Fries and mushroom were not the best as well. Sad really as a good start and sad end…

Good food and an excellent view from a restaurant that could be easily missed. I had a very good steak, and the only down side was my wife’s fish had a ‘crumble topping’ which wasn’t made clear on the menu. Excellent friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

I ate hake with mussels, which was perfectly cooked and piping hot. Alongside a glass of very decent Picpoul it was all delicious. The setting gives you stunning estuarial views and a busy, convivial atmosphere inside the restaurant. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. A big thumbs up from me.

Fabulous position overlooking the harbour, excellent and attentive staff, the food was very well presented, we went in especially for fish and chips. The chips were amazing, the mushy peas and curry sauce were great, as was the tartare sauce, but the star of the show should have been the beer battered fish, but this was let down by thick doughy batter which both my wife and I had to scrape off the outer layer, not pleasant, and not even up to the standard of our local chippy, such a shame.

Came expecting more. Nothing wrong with the food or service, but nothing overwhelming. Nice enough and a safe bet. When you’re on holiday you want memories. This was forgettable.

Wonderful food with fabulous views and excellent service. Highly recommend this place. We booked last minute for my husbands 60th birthday as our son drove down from Hampshire as a suprise. Food was delicious, monkfish cooked to perfection and aubergine katsu curry was devine. Camel rose wine was also very very good. Definitely vist again soon. Thank you!

Service was excellent, very good quality food, but not the best breakfast in town, (to me, Ben's crib box still has that title) a hash brown or potato rosti and a choice of how you would like your egg cooked (not just fried) wouldn't go a miss. Expensive

This was a nice experience due to the location, but don't visit when hungry. You are going to pay through the nose for a nice view. I write this disappointed in poor value for money even taking into account "Padstow prices". The restaurant is nice, the staff were friendly and fairly speedy (it's out of season) and the view across the harbour is gorgeous. We even had a friendly robin bob about our table. But we ordered the "full Cornish"... Which wasn't as "full as you'd expect for £13.50..... one tiny sausage, half a pudding tiny sausage, two small shrivelled bacon strips that shattered as overcooked. Two big mushrooms but were watery. A pot of beans holding a tablespoon of beans max. A tomato of average size that was underdone. One egg fried, crispy (not good) and a slice of toast cut in half. There are photos here in reviews that show a full plate, but the coffee cups and plates aren't that big. I couldn't help think it poor value for money- meat's expensive but they could up it to two eggs and ask how you want them cooked. And add another piece of toast, they already give you two pats of butter. This wouldn't cut that far into their profits. Speaking of which, don't bother coming for the golf. I understand it's been remodelled in recent years but it's a poor course. Which didn't make us feel any better after shelling out £33 for two breakfasts and two coffees, we were then charged £8.50 each to use such a poor course. No I am not kidding. Kids are £6.50 each. They keep the putters outside so bring your own ball and grab one and at least then you'd feel you'd got some value back on your breakfast...! Curiosity satisfied, won't be coming back.

We loved this restaurant. The views were amazing and that coupled with a nice Rose and the best Shrimp (Crevettes) I have ever tasted means that we will be back. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. This is a definite must.

What a meal we had Saturday night absolutely beautiful and very tasty cocktails. The staff were lovely and helped me out with a question that ended up being a big yes. Thank you to the staff. We will definitely be back again soon

This is a fantastic restaurant overlooking Padstow harbour. Fresh food, great wine and an incredible view. The only downside this time was the waitress, who not only forgot to write the side of broccoli down, but then tried to make it my fault. I brushed it off and they brought it quickly, but even after paying (and adding 10%) when I smiled and said thank you and goodbye, she couldn't raise a smile and reciprocate. She needs to learn some manners!

Very dry expensive scone. Did not appear to be up to usual standard at all.. We have come here for the scones for years because we always thought them to be the best we have had anywhere. We live in Cornwall so are regular visitors to Padstow. Today the scones looked and tasted different to how they have been in recent past visits. They were incredibly dry and tastless, almost as if they had been made without any butter. Will not be rushing back as they are expensive as well. I don't mind paying extra for quality but not for a scone that was barely average and not fresh. Another point is that so many times we would have had a proper lunch here but the restaurants does not allow dogs inside and i refuse to sit out side for a cooked lunch.

This place deserve all the five stars ⭐️, actually we do not live far from here and only noticed this by chance , because we never walked that way. Well it is a hidden gem 💎, superb food , super friendly staff. Super tasty food and amazing presentation.

This is a great spot to visit on your holidays, and recommend a game of crazy golf beforehand! Menu is varied and a favourite with the kids. Winter opening hours are reduced so be sure and book!

Wonderful! We celebrated my mum and dads anniversary here this weekend and the service we had was the best. After having to alter the booking many times for different reasons, each time was dealt with instantly and kindly. The meal was delicious, the views are amazing and the team were attentive, friendly and so helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and we will definitely return again. Highly recommend Greens!

Lovely location away from the main hustle and bustle of the Harbour with a nice view. Food was good, service could have been a bit friendlier.

This is a lovely place for a romantic meal or to bring the kids. Staff are lovely helpful and polite. The food is gorgeous and views hard to match.

There is lots of positives , food looks great . Views are amazing from outside seating which is plentiful , as is indoor seating. We had drinks / scones jam and cream which were lovely . But the young lady that works there reprimanded me and my husband for taking a table which we were not lead to in front of everyone !! which I took hum-bridge to. There was around 30 VACANT seats inside and out so I did not think it was issue On this occasion.I think the young lady really did not need to pick this disagreement.

Called to check crazy golf was open, when we got there we rang the bell 4 times and waited at the hatch. After being ignored for 20 minutes we decided to give up. When walking away we just saw staff stood around talking. Waste of a trip over

We visited on my birthday for a round of mini golf. Reasonably priced at £8 per person. We were pleased dogs could also come onto the golf course too. The course itself was nicely set out and challenging enough but not too much! The staff were helpful and the coffee we had afterwards was delicious.

Top quality food, drink, service. Genuinely couldn’t have been better in any way.

We booked Greens having walked past it doing the headland walk. We had to book an early slot because it was busy later in the evening. We arrived on time and were shown to a table near to the bifold doors to the terrace area with a lovely view out to the harbour. The staff were very friendly and helpful and described the menu dishes we were interested very well. We both picked bread and oil nibbles for a starter and a main course. We were given plenty of time to eat and there was obviously no rush to vacate the table although the staff were expecting a large party. This is a lovely restaurant with a good menu which is varied and well though out. We both chose the pan fried Hake cooked in warm tartare sauce for our main. Delicious. Prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. I would recommend booking a table here.

The location of this place is pretty awe inspiring. The views would invite people in without effort. Unfortunately not all the food matches the views. I’ll start by saying one of the party had sea bream, the rest of us were wishing we had chosen that! It looked great. Apparently it was. A few of us chose fish n chips. That was disappointing. Frozen chips are never acceptable! They were disgusting. The fish was nice, unfortunately the batter was greasy and tasted like bitter oil. If this place did proper chips and better batter I’d return. Otherwise I couldn’t recommend. Frozen chips is laziness, and lack of care.

We spent a few days in Padstow and had breakfast here. Lots of choice on the menu, full Cornish breakfast was delicious, staff were friendly and service was great. Absolutely stunning views of the harbour and estuary. We liked it so much we had breakfast here twice and also sat for afternoon G&T’s too.

Lovely food : lovely setting. Really good food from a fish-heavy menu. The hake was delicious as was the sea bream. We enjoyed an outside seat looking over the estuary as night fell. Excellent with friendly service to boot!

Called in for coffee, really slow service. Not really sure why people queue for this place. Went back later for meal in cafe style interior restaurant. Food was good and well presented. Much better service.

Insanely delicious English breakfast!!🤩

Enjoyed a superb lunch here today, we were fortunate to get a table overlooking the estuary and couldn’t have asked for a better setting. As luck would have it both the service and the food were equally as impressive and has to be the best place we have found to eat in Padstow in our many years of visiting.

Amazing restaurant, the service is superb. The view out into Padstow harbour is stunning. The restaurant itself is lovely and the outside seating area. Food is absolutely incredible, never had bad food here. Fish and chips is a must try. Plenty of options for drinks, an AF options which is good. You won't go wrong if you visit here, whether for a drink, food, or just a coffee or scone. Highly recommend.

Wonderful gem of a restaurant overlooking the Padstow estuary and town. Really nice relaxed atmosphere. The food that my wife and I had was great. The menu isn’t huge but we both had several dishes to choose from. Value for money is pretty good and...

Such a beautiful setting. We all had the bream which was excellent, the vegetables were nicely cooked too. We had the sorbet for dessert which was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.

We called in for coffee on the off chance and returned that evening for dinner. A lovely new find in our favourite town.

Fantastic food and service with a fabulous view

Amazing lunch with stunning views. It's slightly off the beaten path for Padstow, so it isn't quite as hectic as everywhere else. That doesn't mean there won't be a queue for a table, but it does mean that once you sit, everything is fairly calm and relaxed. Great spot to power up, play some mini golf and then go to lunch. They don't take bookings, so first come first serve.

Went here twice during our week stay in Padstow, once in sunshine and then amidst a downpour. Great location, both inside and out, views across the harbour and great food and drink.

Lovely place and fantastic view.

We originally went into the golden lion but found one member of staff there very aggressive and argumentative, so we walk out, he followed us outside and started being aggressive to us in the street so we found greens of Padstow and what a difference....

Loved all the food here, especially the fish. Great service and dog friendly outside. Fab view as well.
