Kerenza Restaurant in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Was recommended to go and it’s the best ever tapas I’ve had. I’ve never seen so many options on the tapas menu and the chef should be very proud of his work as was fantastic

Booked here while staying in Bude after reading the few reviews there are so far and liking the menu on the website. It was such a disappointment to arrive be given a menu and all that was offered was basically, fish and chips, chicken burger, beef burger, veggie curry, sirloin steak and charcuterie. The only dishes without fries were the curry and the charcuterie. There was no braised feather of beef, no chicken supreme and no Cornish cod as were shown on the website menu. We realise that the menu on the website may only be a sample but we could not find that mentioned anywhere on the website. To be fair the menu we had was displayed outside and had we read that before going we probably would have cancelled our reservation. As it was we were hungry so we stayed and what we had was OK but very basic. The hotel and restaurant have clearly been recently renovated and look very nice but the basic current menu seems to not do the surroundings justice. Maybe they have lost their chef or some other issue but be warned check the actual menu before going and don’t rely on the menu on the website.

An Excellent Menu, well presented and delicious in taste. Recommend the Braised Feather Blade of Beef for an evening meal. Service was really good as well

Really surprised how good this restaurant is. At a family dinner for four our choices ranged from Scallops with v interesting and well-judged add-ons, to Turbot in one of the most delicious sauces I've had, to an upmarket Burger that was just right. Decor and ambience excellent too.

Had a meal here on our first evening staying at the hotel and was very pleasantly surprised by the very high quality. The chef is clearly very good and should be proud of their excellent meals. We had a nice cocktail beforehand and then were served a lovely meal by friendly staff and in a most acceptable manor and would certainly strongly recommend it for evening meals.

A very high standard of cuisine, above expectations. Recommend anything on the menu with ease. Perhaps a wider choice of desserts could be useful, but hat is the only complaint
