Thought we'd try it out after a few years absence for a birthday get together. Wish we hadn't bothered. Cold chips and peas, scampi was ok. No jalapenos on nachos as they'd run out (go next door to Lidl then) very little of anything else on it. Fried eggs burnt! How do you do that.
No puds as kitchen closed at 8pm. Waitress was nice, but when we complained the manager stayed away watching football at the other end of the bar. Not much chance of a revisit for a few years, if ever.
Cute cafe with great toasties and coffee. Staff really friendly and helpful with a good range of food choices including baked potatoes, toasties and sandwiches. Coffee was a good sized cup with a mellow flavour. Good prices and a great view over the Mermaid Beach.
A group of 4 of us visited. I Was the only one drinking lager, others had shorts. When I got my beer I was a little amazed that the bubbles were going from top to bottom???? and very cloudy lager. Normally bubbles from the bottom upwards do you think?? Anyway, made my way to bar to discuss this issue only to be told I was wrong and can't get a refund or replacement š¤ This was my first pint of the day before you ask and last drink here
Food was bland and disappointing, though it looks like they are trying to make up for it with quantity. Seems the chef doesn't want to be there.
If you order sausage roll with fries, it will cost you £9. If you order it separately, it will be £7. That is, unless they give part of your order to someone else and then tell you they don't have any more, even though you already paid and been waiting for 10 minutes for the food.
Just go anywhere else and you'll have better rating experience
Was disgusted with the food served, ordered a toastie chips toastie was a soggy mess no filling hardly toasted chips hard. Donāt recommend for a lunch
Been using for 6 yrs or more Now gone down hill recently. Order wrong food given and totally substandard quality not good at all ......avoid at all costs.
We picked up a takeaway here to eat on the beach when in Dymchurch for the day. It didnāt look like the most appealing shop from the outside, we ordered and waited for it to be freshly cooked. It tasted really good and everyone enjoyed their meal.
Not the best curry you could have ordered lamb curry and it was disappointing and disgusting 𤮠I wouldnāt ever order from here as the food is the worst you can have.
The staff were nice and lovely sitting out in the sun but the food was pretty bad.. the chips were decent but the sandwiches were absolutely awful, stale dry packet bread and the crab did not taste at all fresh, despite being by the sea I assume from a tin and rather tasteless. And serving it with roast beef crisps???! Really bizarre

Only eaten here at yummy's once in last 4 years as the food became disappointing. However I'm glad to report things have improved and the whole family enjoyed our meal tonight. Each dish was acceptable though the chow mein could do with a hint of green (spring onion perhaps). The chops in honey actually tasted of honey, neither too sweet nor odd. The prawn toast was hot and crispy. The whole meal wasn't overwhelmed with msg nor that metallic flavour you get with beef Cantonese style! And the chicken and cashew nuts was damm near good. Thank god the old yummys is back.
