Such a terrible shame. Its called the vintage tea room but the minute you step in it's obvious that this is far from a vintage tea room and more like a workman's caff. Bottles of brown sauce and ketchup stacked in a metal holder on the table definitely isn't something you would find in a vintage cafe. We were going to buy a children's lunch but no-where was it mentioned if sandwiches were included and if so what the choice was. There may even have been an ice lolly included (as there often is at various outlets with children's lunch boxes) but no body would have had a clue. How about a list posted next to the boxes showing what you get????? We wanted to sit in the outside searing area but what a depressing place! Two old picnic benches on a rough peice if concrete. The toilets needed a good tidy. There was a bottle of toilet cleaner next to the toilet, not good to have chemicals not locked away from young children that may be using the loo!! This could be a real asset to the station but to be honest it shouldn't be using the description 'vintage cafe'. It could be a little gem if only they sharpened up their act.
but we ordered two orange juices â and what did we get? Definitely not two orange juices. We got two weird drinks instead. We waited about 10 minutes, and honestly, itâs really expensive for Folkestone. So yeah, only come here if you're Jeff Bezos â or one of his friends â because you'll need his budget.
The food was awful, disgusting and shouldnât of been served. Nothing nice about it.. service was shocking aswell, didnât have any sauce. Way over priced. Do NOT recommend
I had a wonderful experience at Starbucks today thanks to Grace . From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with such a warm, genuine smile that instantly brightened my day. Not only was my frappe made perfectly, but her kindness and upbeat attitude put a smile on my face. Itâs clear she loves what she does, and it made all the difference. Thank you, Grace, Starbucks is lucky to have you.â
Not sure why this kebab shop has such low ratings đ« it's by far the best in folkestone, for taste, portion and delivery. I've not had one bad meal from here, zero mistakes and been using since April. I stopped using my usual kebab shop as always forgetting something, and the prices went up yet quality of food and portion sizes went down. And I'm glad I did đ
Despite both the website and the Facebook page stating that this bar had now re-opened and was open daily from 9am to 4pm, when we got there at 11.30am today, we walked in the main door, saw yet another sign confirming this information, but the bar was locked and in darkness. Will not bother going back until we know for sure that it actually is open!
Had a lot better for a lot less , not fresh , sandy , crab was -------- cook could have tried to make it look worthy of the money , I could still see the print of the cling film in the crab ,
I use this place regularly and never had cause for complaint. However today all 3 pieces of chicken were dry and chewy (3 breast pieces as well, normally a mix) and the chips luke warm. At least the drink was ok.
I will come back for one more try but if it is the same again I shall take my business to Subway next door.
During my lunch break I was waiting for service as staff were in the kitchen. I attracted the attention of a lady who sent another female of staff out front and who immediately started giving attitude. Her manner was extremely rude! Her name was Sadie. I would have asked to see a manager if I didnât need to come back for a colleagues order. Baddie served me on my return who was polite. I wonât be back.
