Popped in to Tesco cafe for a quick traditional breakfast.... the advertise free range eggs, 100% British meats and have some really comfy chairs. You can also expect to receive a fantastic amount of attitude from the staff. The attitude comes free but your extras do not..... £1.00 for a sausage was borderline perverted. Foods not bad... staff need to pipe down.

Friendly, helpful staff, nice airy atmosphere, lovely meals, and excellent prices. Just a shame this cafe does not open later.

My sister and I decided to try lunch here as we only popped by previously for coffee and cake. Today we had a delicious chicken Tikka with rice and naan followed by a chocolate orange cake for afters. Service was quick and plenty of seating available. Large windows make the place look bright and cheerful. Will come back again.

The café was closed when we due to use the tunnel, but the shop has a huge range of sandwiches in their meal deal section. Just the place to fill the car and the driver, also handy to buy essentials when returning from using Eurotunnel. An alternative to the tunnel terminal fast food outlets.

There's nothing we like better, on a day trip to UK, than to stop at Tesco Cafe and have breakfast. Excellent value for money and the staff are friendly. Nothing is any trouble. Recommended for anyone using Eurotunnel and looking for a reasonably priced place to eat.

Lovely service, your usual supermarket café, well priced brunch food and plenty of space for sitting down. Only one junction down the motorway from the Eurotunnel, so perfect for a pre-holiday coffee. Quite clean toilets too!

Not good last time place was dirty and sandwiches out chilled cabinet were frozen when you bit into them was just told fridge not working. This time we stopped in for quick sandwich as shops side sold out Got be worst ones ever all dry stale hard dry cheese served to us on paper plates Coffee in paper cups with extra 10p charge per cup as paper (had wanted China cups ) very week coffee even to me and I don't like the strong stuff. Will never use again know wonder cafe was empty and chilled cabinet full

The wife, and myself arrive at 10.00am for a nice English breakfast, which we have done a few times now. In all honesty it has never been great but simply acceptable, until today that is. There was near nothing prepared or ready. 2 sausages, 3 black puddings, 2 hash browns, and a couple of bits of bacon. We ordered and watched as they run around confused and in a complete fluster. Eggs were cooked first and left while they panicked to get the rest on the go. It took a good 10mins as they started to plate up item by item, and i actually had a sinking feeling by this point. Sat down to dine and OH MY GOD...Baked beans were freezing cold, not just tepid, but actually COLD. Cut into my sausage, and again it was also freezing cold. Unhappy, we went to complain and were shocked when they simply grabbed our plates and continued to serve other complaining customers. We explained that our teas were waiting at the table and going cold. Huffing and hissing, they plonked the plates complete with cooked eggs into a microwave oven. That was enough for me thanks. The first one came out with a rock hard egg (surprise surprise). Another 10 min wait for a flustered and hissing member of staff to issue a refund. We then drove into Folkestone and dined in the Full English up in town. WOW. I`ll say no more but please try it. You wont fit the full but will have to settle for the half i reckon. Give it up Tesco. That was absolutely disgusting. The full English up in town was twice the size, hot and fresh, came with a real mug of tea, and was also cheaper.

Asked whether they sold yogurt, granola. No. Asked if they have any other cereal other than rice crispy, no. Asked what healthy breakfasts they serve, they said only what we have here, fried breakfast. Staff were pretty rude, and really didn't care. Previous visit, I ordered a fry-up, and got different member of staff... really rude and shouting. Not somewhere to go if you want to relax when you eat breakfast, or if you want something healthy.

The menu is 3 trough of coloured mush.I approached the man with the big spoon. He slide back the lids from the trough. It was the weirdest combination chips, ''curry'' and beans.Feeling defeated I chose curry and chips. It was all stone cold and tasted repulsive. The tea was weak of course and they use the tasteless milk. The place was dimly lit and dreary.Lots of potential and a nice view of the store.

Food was bland and disappointing, though it looks like they are trying to make up for it with quantity. Seems the chef doesn't want to be there. If you order sausage roll with fries, it will cost you £9. If you order it separately, it will be £7. That is, unless they give part of your order to someone else and then tell you they don't have any more, even though you already paid and been waiting for 10 minutes for the food. Just go anywhere else and you'll have better rating experience

We had booked a room in the adjoining B&B (highly recommended) and also reserved a table at the Famous Ship Inn. Our drive from our home Devon took us over 7 hours (thank you M25 and M20) so we were only just in time for our reservation. The inn itself is very old but we were shown to a table in a modern conservatory on the south side. The food and service were impeccable and the place was doing a great trade, which created a warm and enjoyable atmosphere. This was an excellent dining experience.

We popped in for lunch. We were not staying at the "hotel" so cannot comment on the rooms. The food is excellent, if a little overpriced. As are the drinks. An example is a pint of lager shandy was priced at £6.35 and noted as a pint of Birra Moretti on the bill. I raised this but they said they "could not change it". And the larger used was not Birra Moretti! That is disappointing and, for me, that's a deal breaker.
