Papa John's Pizza in Shepway

Despite ordering way in advance, and calling to see where the order was, food was 45 minutes late, poorly packaged and altogether disappointing

food was late .. very cold .. the potatoes with cheese is barely some cheese on it .. very unhappy will not order from them.again

Worst Papa John's I have ever had. Next to no cheese or toppings on pizza (phillie cheese steak & BBQ chicken large were purchased). The BBQ sauce drizzle was again far too little. Never again. I love papa john but the recent order has all most put me off the brand. Papa john needs to check his franchises are not skimping to chisel profit as experiences like this are damaging the brand. This branch was clearly skimping on all aspects of the pizza's

Definitely the best pizza in Folkestone. Excellent taste, value and quick friendly service. This is the place to go for great value too.

The food was cold when received. Not good enough very disappointing

Food was pretty cold and not all that nice, tried the new tandoori items that tasted nothing like tandoori. Delivery was on time but food was pretty disgusting

Pizza was nice, only just warm, but that was the fault of the driver, who marked it as delivered and left as he 'couldn't find our house' (even though I gave clear instruction...) Don't worry Papa Johns, not your fault, we will try again XD

Lucky someone was in 45 minutes early medium pizza with one topping removed still charged full price no way to double up on one of the other toppings no offers papa johns is more expensive than the other brands available

Awful Half BBQ Chicken and Half Cheese and Tomato. The BBQ had no BBQ base but tomato, some of the chicken and onion was on the cheese side. The chicken tasted like defrosted reconstructed chicken. Very poor.

Fantastic delivery and service with excellent pizza.

Food took 1 hour & 20 to arrive, called on the hour mark to be told it was with the driver & would be 2 minutes.. 15 minutes later (the same time it takes to drive from location to location) it finally shows up.. sides (potato tots with bacon) arrived burnt & the pizzas were luke warm at best! Won’t be returning in a hurry!

Called the restaurant when the food was 20mins late. Phone was eventually answered after 3 attempts - was told they were very busy and driver was 10mins away. 25 mins later the driver arrived with the food. Food was cold, was told to contact the restaurant. Tried several times but calls were not answered. Will never use again.

I watched one staff member hand-tossing dough, then answer the phone and return to hand-tossing dough without washing his hands. Meanwhile, another employee was putting dough onto a pizza dish and coughed without covering his mouth. Another employee entered the store. As he walked past, there was a very strong stretch of body odor. He dunked his hands in what appeared to be be a bowl of water, wiped his hands dry on his T-shirt and went to work rolling out and hand-tossing dough. No one was wearing masks, gloves, or hair nets. This particular facility has a #2 health rating. I'd hate to see a #3. And the pizza? Meh.

Trash shop with trash staff, ordered food for it to not turn up when called shop back they tried saying driver had been and called but never had any missed calls then over 35 minutes later finally turned up with burned cold food will never use again. Avoid at all costs

Nothing turned up!!!! Spent £75 and can’t get through to anyone and no food!!

The pizza was cold, had very little beef on it, maybe two tiny pieces per slice. Asked for no garlic sauce but that was ignored. Poor quality.

I didn't receive a call that requested and had too pain extra for delivery not happy

We ordered at 18:50 and didn’t receive our food until 20:35. That’s after we rang the restaurant twice and on both times they said it was on its way which it wasn’t.

Good pizza, I think driver couldn't find address as it wasn't a hot as usual. I also forgot to ask for proper thin crust. My bad. Side was enjoyable and just needed more sauce RECOMENDED

The delivery driver didn't deliver to the front door,I am disabled and had to send my son upstairs to pick up the delivery from the driver.

They don’t follow health and safety. They make pizzas without gloves, that’s a red flag 😂 dirty

Food arrived bang on time by a nice lad on his motorbike. Food was hot and lovely. You should advertise at the campsite as a few people were asking where we got our pizza from 🤩

Dangerous riders, had 30 points and they just took then as they expired (was not told that happens) never a hot pizza always warm and dry always late. Disgusting place manger doesn't car about anything. Only thing that's good is the garlic butter sauce. All the rest is rank.

This is a worst garlic sauce I ever try in my life some kind of liquid butter which is not butter with garlic price for regular pizza 20£ and low amount of adds I take salami and I saw only one on pizza the same is with other adds but pizza as base is tasty so you have 3 stars

Pointless producing what is usually a good product only to be let down by delivery times....... Looks like we will be looking for another outlet that is not Papa John's..

I made an order through the pap John's app. I made a simple mistake of miss typing my phone number. My pizza was then delivered to a different person. I called the store wondering where my food was and was spoken to very rudely and told I wouldn't get a replacement because it was my fault the delivery driver have my food to somebody else. If the driver had simply asked for the name on the order they would have discovered they had the wrong guy. Good job papa John's. Apparently you just employ anyone.

Ordered online, ready for collection when they said it would be. All good and if you're cute, can be at a keen price too.

I ordered at 4pm for delivery at 5.20 so in plenty of time but at 5.50 my food still wasn't here so phoned and was told they hadn't long received my order which untrue as had confirmation of order received at 4.20pm. I told the restaurant I was going out at 6.30pm and needed the food ASAP... it was delivered eventually nearly 1 hour late.

You gave me the wrong drink. I ordered a sugar free 7up and instead received a full sugar Tango.

Ordered online as I had a half price voucher from Papa John's after watching a Papa John's Trophy football game on my laptop. The pizza we ordered was just what we wanted. Well cooked and not to much bread!

First time i have tried Papa John's. Ordered via website to collect. Got there 15 minutes later. Sat there waiting piping hot. The pizza was one of the best i have had and the marmite cheese sides were delicious! Will be recommending to my friends

Delivered incredibly quick, piping hot when it arrived and tatsed great! I made a little mistake with my order and rang up to amend, they sorted my mistake and didn't charge me the extra, would definitely order from here again, well worth paying that little extra for the quality

Delivery came very early unexpectedly, I got 3 sauces/dips, however 1 of the sauces was Papa John's Secret Garlic however when I opened the dip it turned out to just be melted butter and not garlic at all. The pizza and other dips were nice however.

1st order and delivery 5 star Pizza excellent, hot and well made. 2nd time more dough than topping, will use again as ive always had good food from papa John's. Best delivery around folkestone.

Great vegan pizza! Delivery was quick, efficient and socially distanced. Driver was friendly and polite. Top notch vegan ingredients, worth the money for a treat!

Love papa johns pizzas, I pick this place over pizza hut, super pizza or pizza prima any day of the week. The service is great and wait time acceptable for what you receive. Also love the special garlic dip (although wondering if they have recently changed the recipe) still either way love this place ❤🍕

We were surprised by the variety of vegan options and the quality of the pizzas. Ordering online on Tuesday two for one also made for a decent price.

We have ordered extra large pizza XXL with 2 toppings everything for £25 but, the pizza delivered to us was very small than expected around 30cm. To expensive for the pizza size you get at the end

I was very disappointed as delivery was 30 minutes late and the pizza was lukewarm at best and hadn't even been sliced. Used to love Papa John's but will definitely being going elsewhere in future as this is the 3rd time I have received a late delivery and a cold pizza. One time even receiving an order with a topping that wasn't even on the order. One very disappointed customer I'm afraid

Really great quality tasty pizza! The delivery man called me on my mobile and left the box on the seat on my porch, waited at the end of the path and made sure I got it as instructed as I am in self isolation due to being in the vulnerable group for the virus. The delivery time was really quick. Would definitely recommend this place!

Tasted very nice, although the thin base was too thick not stone baked. The marmite and cheese bites were nice, but again they were a bit too doughy.

I was extremely disappointed with the service we had tonight. I was advised that our order would take fifty minutes but we were still waiting long past that time. Someone eventually turned up and said that he had had a flat tyre, although he appeared to have driven up and down our road. We have not had this problem before and we were hungry and looking forward to a good meal. We certainly will not be using Papa John's Pizza again.

Not ordered from papa johns before, disappointed with the warm and taste of my pizza and garlic bread had a funny taste. My cinnamon rolls were not cooked all the way through . Really disappointing first Papa Johns.

Papa John's one of them best pizza in Folkestone , they deliver in short time and fast. Whenever, I personally visit to papa John's Pizza Folkestone shop I found very neat, clean and we'll organised. Staff are very professional.

Rude delivery drivers.......no manners Use the footpath as a road, for parking there scooters on and nearly hit me .. manager doesnt see this as his problem and doesnt see he can tell them not to drive on/down the path!

Fancied a late night treat, ordered the cheese marmite scrolls and they were the bomb, but do not order a tub of B&J ice cream! I don't know how long it had been frozen for, or maybe its been defrosted and melted over and over again, but it was like digging through a pot of flavoured of ice. Totally terrible!

Honestly, best pizza ever !! ... And, delivery crew are amazing !! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Tried the new hot dog pizza, lovely and tasty along with the bbq wings and garlic strips! A little pricier than the others however brilliant quality and they usually have good deals on.

Ths food was great, and really good value. The cookie we got was a lot bigger than I expected
