KFC - Folkestone Sandgate Road in Shepway

Just had takeaway 4 pieces of chicken and chips. Chicken dry tasteless chips soggy.

I go there with my daughter and my mum. And every time, we feel relaxed and enjoy our meal....only downside is they don't do hot drinks 🤫🤫

KFC just isn't what it was really. It's ok, but a major ingredient is missing form the food - love

Kfc Sandgate Road is a welcoming place to go. The staff are brilliant and always welcome you with a smile very polite and the food is well cooked and tasty. 10/10

I had Zinger burger, hotwings and chips which was delicious. And i wanted to specially mention about the staffs who were behaved very well and we got the food within 2 mins of our order. The new chips which kfc introduced recently were awesome.

Order food to be delivered Seen online order has been delivered But noone cams to my house I called kfc they told me the drivers always makes the food delivered so they can pick up more orders So that means they pick up the food throw it in the bin outside kcf marked the order delivered Justeat is rubbish if they don't monitor the drivers to make sure people's orders are been delivered They should ask the drivers to take of when delivering the food Will definitely not use this justeat again

Clean fast food restaurant. I can recommend the popcorn chicken menu 👌

Greacey chicken cold chips took 15 minutes to get food cold southern rice no wipes given chips done put in heater as soon as order placed came back later for drinks took 10 minutes for those staff neet training in costumer service

Have to order on screen. Prefer to talk to someone. Call out your number but otherwise cant be bothered to speak to you. Plenty of empty tables but difficult to find one thats clean!

Terrible. Almost every time we order there is something missing from the order. No matter how many times we ring the store we never get an answer either. Worst restaurant/take away in Folkestone for customer service/issues.

Never been there before, however it was very tasty and enjoyable. I haven't eater KFC in years and it didn't disappoint.

It's a grade 2 listed Is building and the Food is just as old! It really is a disgrace Its RUBISH 100 persent! I was thinking the food came up fast! I'm not surprised it was probably yesterday's chicken! Dont go there

A decent KFC with helpful staff, my only gripe is the chavs in balaclavas and wearing bum bags (they look like ninjas from wish) that are always there.

Utterly disgusting! Chicken bones all over the floor! The tables were not cleaned and the food was very poor .. Staff members were very rude and pretend not to understand what I was saying.. Definitely doesn't deserve it's hygiene rating.. Will definitely not be returning..

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED the chicken was overcooked, I asked for no bbq sauce and wrote it in capital letters but the wrap was covered so much so that I think it was done on purpose, the drinks were warm and I ordered 4 cookies one was missing and the receipt said MISSING 1 COOKIE XTRA CHIPS INSTEAD SORRY and to top it all off the cookies looked like they had a bit taken from them and they were hard as rocks so must have been sitting a while so overall the worse food I've ever had and the worse £45 I've ever spent. They even had a cheek to charge me £1.97 service charge what a joke will not be returning

Lovely old building with modcons inside. Roomy, not all squashed together. Food was hot, person serving was friendly. I'll certainly be back.

Firstly I love KFC but this particular branch, for me, did not live up to standards. Nice and clean etc etc but the food was bland, no flavour to the coating on the chicken. Won't rush to visit this branch again if at all.

Disappointing kfc food only warm and had the feeling we were a nuisance as they closed in one hours time.

Restaurant has had a refurb which is nice. Food counter is good but boy the Restaurant is gross. It's an infection control hazard. Went in evening and staff were all working behind counter. Not that busy. All normal food standards and seems clean, but no one in the restaurant staff wise. Bins were overflowing, uncleared tables, food on the floor, sticky and dirty tables, some areas cordoned off. Not inviting and just off putting when you just want a clean eating space. Poor show KFC sorry 😞 McDonald's always have staff in the eating area cleaning up. KFC been like this last few times I've visited. Why isn't anyone wiping down touch screens with winter bugs coming and post covid? I don't get it?!

Probably because of the late hr we visited the chicken looked like it had been cooked in well used oil and been in the warmer awhile but in their defence it still was a tasty treat and exactly as ordered

I only popped in for. Pepsi. Drink. Am diabetic. So not able to have Tasted, any Foods as i don't eat Breaded chicken ,That's fried.... sorry Pepsi was delightful...Especially on a Hot Day in Folkestone.....

It has gone down hill a lot since COVID, I used to like going in there, buy now since you have to pay on the machines and choose what you want on screens there seems to be lot's of mistakes. As I ordered and paid for one piece of chicken at £1.99 and one chicken strip at £1.79 to take away, as well as chips and salad and it came to £7.98. When I got home the chicken strip was missing so I have missed out on this and they have the money for nothing as I didn't check the order before I left. Also the chicken is so dry now and the chips are dry as they have the skins on now, I used to like the thin french fries, they used to use. Also I used to get the snack boxes but they don't do they now, only popcorn chicken ones. They used to be only £1.99 and you used to get plenty of chips and it would only cost me £3.98 instead of £7.98. I know everything has gone up, but I don't think Burger King is as expensive as this.

This place is always busy........ I've never had any food issues at all. The only thing that does let it down, funnily enough are the customers that can't be bothered to put their rubbish away! Which when they are busy, the staff can't get out to sort it out!

Was not bad yesterday. However only 4 stars as the table had not been cleaned from the previous customers. Food was ok except the chips were rather over cooked. My Zinger Tower Burger was lovely as always.

I'd give then a 5 star but it's not hheir fault that the chicken is no longer covered with the original recipe batter. Why, o, why did they ever change it! It must be a good 10/15 years ago now. AND I like the way they have Pepsi but why no ordinary full fat version??? The diet ones are soooo bad for you...all that aspartame rubbish in them! Gimme good old fashioned sugar as a sweetener. The taste is sooo much better.

Shocking service. Extremely delayed and disappointed with the service received here today. Staff were working hard however they were 100% short staffed. They let people in with beers purchased externally onto the premises and use it as a pub. Let customers crowd the till area so that delayed orders couldn’t be discussed. I have been waiting almost an hour for my food. At this point I shall try asking for a refund because it is ridiculous. There was no sense of order in timing customers orders ect. Ridiculous. I don’t like to complain but this is rather unacceptable.

The staff here are amazing, despite it being busy they always kept me in the loop of my order. Gave me a free drink whilst I waited for my food. Fresh and juicy chicken. Wouldn’t go to another Kfc

I wouldn't eat here if you gave me the food for free, rude arrogant staff who can't get a basic order right. Priority is for delivery drivers over customers in front of them. Have walked out before as got fed up of waiting and being ignored by staff who chose to stay out the back instead of being on the counter. Better off going to McDonalds as its cheaper and close by.

Reasonable service, can be very slow at times. Mistakes often made and items not put in. Always now check before leaving. Unfortunately the food is usually near cold when we get back (3 minutes drive away). Not recommended to be fair. Not eaten inside so cleanliness etc. I can't comment on.

Could of been 5 if there wasn't teenagers swearing a few seats across and being loud. After a while they were told to leave but then more teenagers came in, the joys of half term week I guess

KFC in Folkestone always offer great service

Staff always lovely. Customers not so. Double parking over existing parking bays so that they only have to walk one step instead of five. Which blocks the road - for everyone. Think! Please!

Uber eat and Deliveroo seem to have priority over walk in customers. Visited twice and had the same poor service...ordered food and had to wait while delivery staff who arrived after got served first.

I had asked to eat in. When the order was brought through the English female staff member saw that I had asked to eat in but she scowled at me and threw the order at me. I will never eat again in the Folkestone KFC and shall actively warn my family and friends to avoid the branch.

Terrible, I ordered coke and popcorn chicken and way overpriced, the coke I ordered was pepsi, they gave me chips which also tasted terrible, and barely any popcorn chicken in the box

KFC is literally nothing like it was in mid nineties when it became the hangover food of choice . The stores never look particularly clean and the food just seems unfresh and tired with a poor mouthfeel. KFC is dogfood now , mcds have left them for dead. You get better chicken now at the hot counter at Morrisons. Gross af.

Disappointing visit today. Unable to offer large drinks as out of large cups, even though we paid for them. Chicken was very dry and I couldn't eat mine due to that fact. It will be a while before I go back

Unfortunately I was one of several customers that had problems with their orders and there were lots of us waiting. The bill was wrong and I was overcharged. Although this was resolved without fuss, the food that arrived was also not quite what I had ordered. Shame really

Just ordered on uber eats and I can honestly say I've never had such a rancid meal. It all went.in the bin. Chips, cold soggy and earthy. Chicken burger so dry and chewy, bread roll stale. Corn on the cob like mush. Honestly im shocked. Absolutely disgraceful. How it has a 5 star rating I will never know. disgusting. It only got one star as I couldn't go any lower.

Finger licking good?, well not after using the automated order screen and having no alcohol gell available to use afterwards I would recommend it! Food was satisfactory as you would expect I guess.
