The best restaurants serving Default food in Newport North Isle of Wight South East

Was in town for the football so popped in for a couple of pints. Good little pub with an excellent selection of rock songs on the jukebox. Couple of real ales on cask in a well-kept condition. Friendly landlady who was most welcoming. Well worth a visit

purely came for the sunday quiz, but holly & sam were beyond great bar staff!! i couldn’t ask for better customer service

Thank you for letting us have my Dad's Wake at GG's. The space was ideal for adults and children and the staff were very accommodating. Would highly recommend for any function.

Visited with my two children. Plenty of tables available, lots of choice on menu but sadly very slow service, especially when only ordering drinks and cakes. Still worth a visit as kids got to pet the calves.

The location for the hotel is really good. It is next to a river, the river was a bit dry when I went. I really like the rooms for premier inn, the hotels rooms and cleanliness and very good and the value for money is incredible. We had a very good sleep and breakfast from the nearby beef eater restaurant. Beef eater provides meals to hotel guests. There is ample parking close to the hotel.

This is a amazing place just perfect the view was brilliant I would definitely come back here food menu really good and they will change an item to suits your needs well done to all staff

Lovely Food and great service, Bailey the barman was welcoming and very professional. We remembered him from our last visit as being very nice and good at his job!

We sat 13 down for a post party Sunday lunch, excellent service, great food. Enjoyed it so much we are all returning with more guests in December.

Stopped here for a quick drink ended up staying a few hours and enjoying a beautiful meal. Really yummyand excellent service , will be sure to head there again when on the island.

Good little Chinese takeaway, not bad price, salt and pepper chips were nice

yates. what a classic. seriously, it's an absolute classic and staple of newport's mean streets, but it's time to mourn the sad death of yates as it is being replaced by a new restaurant of the same franchise owners.i went to yates recently but i am very sad to hear it is shutting down. value was special. food was special. everything else was a little special, it was sort of like a sprinkle of specials all around since it did have a good place in mon heart.very sad to hear it is shutting down. hacked off at whoever made the decision. bun them fully, bun them 100 and 10 percent.

I couldn’t possibly comment on the food/drink. The cafe looked really nice and we thought we’d give it a try. Unfortunately we were turned away at 3.30pm and offered takeaway only! Shocking that a business in the centre of town would turn down business at such an early hour. Just gives the impression that they can’t be bothered.

Went in for breakfast and it was amazing the food was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful 😊
