The location for the hotel is really good. It is next to a river, the river was a bit dry when I went. I really like the rooms for premier inn, the hotels rooms and cleanliness and very good and the value for money is incredible. We had a very good sleep and breakfast from the nearby beef eater restaurant. Beef eater provides meals to hotel guests. There is ample parking close to the hotel.

Beautiful location, staff were friendly, pub next door was great. Major downside is that there is no air con. Yes there was a fan but the room was so hot I hardly slept

One of the best for location right next to the river and harbour, with a beefeater next door. Large free car park just log reg number at reception. Rooms got little hot but fan provided.

Don't go into room 15 . But saying that the staff are really friendly and helpful . Rooms are spacious and suit your needs . Defo use them again but check the small details and no this isn't 4 rooms in a bed

First time staying in the isle of Wight and glad we picked this Premier Inn. It's in the centre of everything. Room was spotless and quiet at night. Restaurant on site is lovely. Staff can't do enough for you. Can't comment on the WiFi as we didn't need to use it as our phone reception was so good which isn't normally the case when we have stayed at other Premier inns. If I ever come back here I would come back to this one. Can't fault it.

Nice hotel, not cheap for sure. No ventilation in the room, we were amazed we were still breathing in the morning. The window opens, but the air doesn't move anywhere. Even at 16-17 degrees, if there are more than 2 people, there is difficult to breathe in there, as there is no way to air the room. Downside: open window means you hear everything from the street. Including the idiots who have conversation under your said window, because they have just arrived and unpacked their car through their own window. Smart, right?

Exceeded expectations. Lovely service, and very kid friendly. Having a beefeater beside it was also very convenient. Has a lovely park just beside it and also a little canal with swans on it.

Really disappointing food. My wife ordered cajun dirty fries. Which came very burnt, rock hard and hardly any topping on them. I had the chicken fajitas. Tiny amount of chicken enough for 1 fajita chicken was burnt and stuck to the dish also the vegetables were burnt. All in all very disappointing meal.

The bargemans was always a place to go for a great pub meal with epic portions. The last 2 times I've been I've ended up with a sicky tummy the day after. Then the final visit I tried a carbonara and it was like a mushroom and white wine pasta- definitely nothing carbonara about it. For the price, you can get much better elsewhere. We've made it a rule now to visit for drinks on doggy walks, but we won't eat here again until the food improves. Staff are wonderful though and it's a great spot for drinks in the summertime next to the river.

We used VBG for our Wedding this month! We fell in love with the venue before we even saw it in person, and when we could visit we knew it was perfect for what we wanted. On the day, Wedding Coordinator Lera was fantastic, and made sure everything ran without a hitch! The food provided by their on-site chef was exceptional - we asked for a custom menu, using none of the sample menus, and they were able to cater for this! We had individual strawberry trifles for pudding, and were particularly impressed with the presentation in mason jars, not to mention the amazing flavours they had. The gardens and accommodation on site were beautiful and provided an amazing environment. We could not recommend this venue more, as we really did have the best day of our lives!
