Trouville Hotel in Isle of Wight

Visited the Trouville on a Turkey and Tinsel coach trip. Lovely room overlooking the sea, fantastic food choices, and the staff were really efficient and friendly - especially Marek and Laura in the restaurant. The staff had made such an effort re the Xmas theme. Would recommend 100%. Thank you for making our stay so memorable

Excellent hotel. The food and service were excellent. Lovely rooms are very clean and tidy. The rooms were serviced every day. I did see a glimpe of one of the rooms with a sea view, and it did look very impressive. Would visit again, though, in the late spring or summer when there is more going on. Was glad to see a Gideon Edition Bible in the drawer, and that is for the use of anyone who wishes to read a Bible Will come.again

Direct on the seafront... wonderfull spot. Close to the pier and lots things around to enjoy..

Seafront Family hotel is friendly, organized & staff work hard daily. Rooms, clean, hairdryer & drinks tray, bed was comfy with a Seaview & good size B/room, with shower & bath & toiletries. Decor updated in January this year and reupholstered chairs, sofa's. Chef gives a varied menu, vegan & Veggies meals, first class staff serve diligently in dining room. Reception, always manned with a night porter. Lift to the 3 floors, & well lit halls. Would stay here again. R F.

Went for 6 days, meals where alittle small, service slow mouldy cheese served at our evening meal Bar staff rude, especially the young lady, who when we walked in last night after going to another hotel for entertainment which might i say was far better than the entertainment at trouville and polite and friendly staff. Says to us we are shut, to which i say we are staying here. The bar was always closed earlier than stated. 1 of the entertainment was rude too , must be a staff thing. Needless to say we wouldn't go there again. Plus there are lots of run down buildings too which make the surrounding area look a mess.Also noticed fire doors were wedge open this morning. Rooms kept very clean, so thank you to the staff for that .

All staff very helpful. As a vegetarian there was always something to choose on the very varied menus. Dining room service was excellent. Bedrooms were cleaned every day, but they are a little tired when it comes to the decor. Entertainment in the evening was a bit monotonous.

We enjoyed a 4 night break with Alton Dynamic Dancers at Trouville hotel, accommodation was pared down to a price rather than up to a quality. The Bed was a standard double and not very comfortable. The view across the beachfront was good but the room was poor with very thin curtains and a bright street light outside, food was very well prepared but the portion sizes were small, served on small plates! The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for the guests with smiles and good nature. Biggest drawback was the 3pm check in which was absolute melee and could’ve been handled so much better, nowhere to store luggage other than the reception. We had already supplied all the information it would have been so much easier to give out the keys as people arrived.

Great hotel ...only thing that was missing was an indoor swimming pool ....otherwise it would of got 5 stars

We stayed over a weekend on a sequence and ballroom dance weekend.. lovely simple room overlooking the beach.. very clean.. The hotel was in excellent order.. well decorated. Lovely decor.. Ballroom was large with sea views.. Food was very good..we only eat small portions and this was no problem.. breakfast is served at the table apart from cereals, fruit and juice.. all very swiftly freshly cooked.. staff were very attentive.. we were the only guests that weekend. 61 of us. Can recommend the hotel.. on a downside Sandown is partially run down due to the pandemic and a fire.. regeneration is under way..for a lovely childhood memory seaside location.. The island has alot to offer..

Nice hotel . Lovely professional staff . The room I stayed in was dated and you could hear generator day and night. The cabaret was mediocre some good some not so good. With the hotel having such a huge dance floor and very big room it was cold at night . The food was amazing shame no cocktails only one per night of hotels choice. Over all we had a nice time . This was a coach holiday.

Lovely hotel. Reception was great and the breakfast and evening meal was superb. We had a great view of the sea from our room window. Room was without fault. Great hotel and we will come back again.
