It's a pub, good service, decent prices and live events. With a good atmosphere and crowd of regulars. Want to kill the pain and spend a penny, you could do far worse.

I used to gig in this place quite a lot.. Solo and in my band and Duncan the guvnor and his wife are sound as a pound...

Visited during beer and buse. Pub was packed. Paid for 2 beers and when the barmaid saw me check my change she went back to the till and gave me back £3 that she had short changed me by. I wonder how much she made during her shift

Visited during the Isle of Wight bus and beer weekend and was really good plenty of atmosphere and good music

IOW camra pub of the year. Great range of beers in good condition, on this visit all three island brewerys on offer. Jukebox volume might deter some.

A nice pub just outside the station at St. John's very friendly and a good selection of beer The landlady and the local talked for some time on a lot of things to do on the island , to go and what is best to avoid all good to get the inside information from the local people went to a couple of places that they talked about . A lovely place to spend an evening. Large choice of crafted beer's to choose from. Friendly staff and helpful. Luckily for me it's my local.
