The best restaurants serving Default food in Guildford South East

We got a takeaway recently from Shangri La. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and welcoming. We gave her my name and straight away she knew the order and confirmed it back to us! She was very chatty and helpful. The food didn’t take long either. It was ready within 15 mins of ordering. We ordered some Thai food which was very tasty! We will be ordering from them again!!!

Family dinner for 3 on 27 Feb. Took advantage of February offer with Premium Country Pub (40% off mains). A most enjoyable dining evening promoted this review. Not been for a while. Nice table. Excellent professional and attentive friendly service by our waiter (sorry didn’t take his name). We had mains and desserts. All had steaks. My surf n turf fillet was superb, cooked to perfection (medium rare) as requested, full of flavour, well presented. The other medium rare fillet was also enjoyed, as was the large tender rib eye. Tasty side veg extras also perfectly cooked, presented and enjoyed. Apple tart dessert and ice creams. Nice cosy atmosphere, clean table, appetising and tasty food, nice wines, and served with a smile - what a treat!

Food was terrible. Cold, stale. Would not recommend.

Driver kept driving around in circles, called the restaurant to ask where the food is and they were very rude and hung up the phone on me. Food wasn’t good either.

They don’t take cash which is annoying. Space ok with a mixture of tables and chairs giving a nice traditional feel - but they don’t take cash! Fake bookshelves upstairs. Nice crockery. Coffee ok.

We visited today with our local GAS Mini Group. Everyone loved it. Perfect location, great weather, good food and very friendly staff. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for having us.

Over 1 hour and 30 minutes and food still hasn’t arrived. I’ve called the shop twice and each time they keep telling me my food is on its way. Very poor service will never order from them again

Love the tofu pad Thai. Fresh and tasty and quickly prepared. Staff are very friendly and great place to pop for lunch, highly recommend

We WERE using this takeaway on a regular basis. Not any more ! After some of our order was missing we were assured that the value of the missing food would be deducted from our next order. So when ordering the week after the prices were upped and prawn crackers were charged for so no discount was given. Never again ! Don't like being taken for a fool !!!

It took an hour and twenty minutes for the restaurant to call to say the cauliflower bhaji was out of stock. This was when the food was supposed to have already been delivered. When asked how long the order would now take I was told twenty minutes... 50 minutes later the food arrived and was cold. Wish we could say the taste was good but the food didn't taste of anything.

The ramen is perfect as always. The salad was wonderful. It is a must-try dish😍
