Well.. where do we start, Don't do food, ok... Beer being off.. ok it happens....Charge you to park for 15 mins at a cost of £100?!,..Not OK! especially no support or duty of care to the consumer from the landlord..! We went for a quick drink with a work colleague, and this was the most disappointing experience we ever had, for the journey for the customer, this was well below par. Place is in need of new management and a competent manager/landlord. As current landlord lack training in many aspects of the "Journey for the Customer experience" to name a few. If you looking for a pop in drink and after a hard week of grafting work, you better go somewhere better like McDonald's toilets!

Can't comment on the food as didn't have any but drinks tasted watered down! Parking is a joke! Says permit holders and customers only... but turns out you have to put your reg in on a tablet in the pub...ALL the pubs I've been too the staff ASK you when you enter if you have parked, and take your reg, not here! We stopped for barely 20 mins, a few weeks later got a £100 fine through the door (pay early it's £60) pub owner hung up on my husband when he called to complain, saying its nothing to do with him! And then wouldn't answer the phone. It's got everything to do with him! It's HIS pub's car park!!

Maybe the food is great, I've never been brave enough to try it. I kind of love this place as it always generates a story. Like the parking charge for the carpark (I assume it's free if you drink there), seems a little crazy as there is never anyone there to charge. Also the landlord took away the pool table because he didn't want undesirables there. Again any customers should probably be welcomed. The pool table then returns but it seems the customers have not. I wish them the best but I can't see the place lasting much longer.

Was keen to try out the local pub when my partner and I went to visit the area and were staying in a nearby hotel. We appreciated that the pub was quiet and recently owed. The food was good, however my partner and I did not feel welcomed. Myself I said hello to people sitting in the bar and was meet by silence, you could literally hear a pin drop. I didn't let that deter my partner and I as we sat and eat. We didn't however stay a minute longer once we finished our food as we felt that we weren't welcome. Will definitely not be returning. Real shame as we do like to support local businesses over mainstream businesses.

Not sure of how I feel… i am visiting the area and I read all the reviews before going. What I liked: The food was good and actually really impressed. The menu is basic but they are all very very fresh! The food was served piping hot and the burger was worth it. Why three stars: the site was rather quiet on Sunday afternoon and the wait for the food was a bit long (over 20 mins - but quality compensated for that). I am though, not sure if I would return as I feel ignored and when my partner greeted everyone, we got silence..

My husband and I visited this pub as we were staying at a nearby hotel. The taxi driver told us not to bother but that didn't deter us. The pub was completely empty and we felt a little worried however we were given the warmest welcome from the landlord and his lovely wife. We ordered duck pancakes and we could tell they were being cooked from fresh as we had a small wait. The food was amazing probably the best duck pancakes we have had. The mains gammon for me and pie for my husband were beautifully cooked and the pudding was lovely. I didn't share 😂 We spoke to the landlord who said they had only taken over a year ago and were trying to change the pubs reputation. Yes it was very quite but the welcome and food made it worth a visit.

The White Hart Farnham Night Out 725927648 A small quaint old style looking pub, with 3 small areas, 1 for dining, 1 for pool/darts and sports and 1 for drinking. Friendly staff but very young. An open fire which gives it a homely feel. Beer is from a local brewery called Hogs Back which were the main ones, only Kronenbourg, Fosters and Guinness that were different. Food was a bit pricey. It was nice but needed more on the plate, bigger roast potatoes needed. Every night they have something going on, along with a Meat Raffle and the prizes are very generous, worth going just enter that. Check out Bent Bananas Food Reviews

We went donutting at the Aldershot Alpine Centre and typically when we were finished the kiddos were hungry. So we googled a local place to eat as we live quite far. This place came up and seemed perfect with a beer garden and play area for the kids. It's a 10 min drive from the Alpine Centre and upon arrival it looked ok and once entering it looked a little tired but like it could do the job. We were given a warm welcome by the bar girl who handled 4 adults and 7 kids very well! I didn't know what to expect food wise but was hopeful when I asked the bar girl if they made their burgers on site. She said they didn't but the meat is from a local award winning butcher's who make the burgers onsite at their premises. I was sold! We gave a big order and it was handled so well. All the kids food was brought out first and literally the adults followed a few mins later. The chips are awesome; chunky and crispy but fluffy inside and the kids goujons are some of the best I've ever tasted. I had the burger and chips which I thoroughly enjoyed. The burger was juicy and char grilled to perfection. Nobody left food and the kids naturally asked for more. The toilets are really clean and smell good too. So if in doubt, head to the loo! A lovely surprise find for all the family to enjoy. If we're ever in the area again we'll definitely return.

The White Hart is the epitomy of the typical village local. They've got all your regular chemical beers (Fosters, Strongbow, 1664, etc) I'm biased as I'm a real ale drinker, which is where the White Hart normally excels. They're in the CAMRA real ale guide for this reason. The team look after their ales and generally have a good selection most weeks from your session ales @ 3.4% up to the stronger ones @ 5.5%. Most of the regulars are friendly and welcoming and if your'e willing to engage in banter, they're willing to indulge you. Or if you fancy a quiet pint then you can quite happily sit in a corner and just enjoy the real ale. As with all villages, you have a few village idiots and you might find one or two in here but they're amiable enough! The choice of food is limited but its generally very hearty and good to soak up the beer if you've been up the road on a brewery tour. Some night it can be dead so lacks all of the above but the staff are welcoming and welcome a chat if quiet. We need places like the White Hart as the beer industry is being killed off by government taxation so if you fancy a good real ale and generally good company (Cant vouch for the village idiot!) come and have a pint or two (3,4,5, hick!)

Extremely disappointed - chosen on basis of reviews as my niece's final meal before her wedding - it must be a rare thing when a party of 8 diners has not one meal they liked. I'll only comment on my meal. Liver & Bacon 'special' - the liver was totally overcooked, the old phrase 'like dry leather' comes to mind, and simply plonking a slice of separately cooked bacon on top does NOT make Liver & Bacon. The pudding 'Rhubarb Crumble', the Rhubarb was again overcooked with little or no texture, the crumble was burnt and was described by one our party as being like blitzed digestive biscuits. The custard was good though!
