The best restaurants serving Default food in Epsom and Ewell South East

Great variety of food, some unique items on the menu that we've not seen in other traditional Thai restaurants before. We thoroughly enjoyed our food tonight, even our young children loved theirs. The toilet was super clean. The staff were very friendly and hard working. It was very useful to see the carbon rating on the menu as well! Highly recommend this place!

As a fellow Chinese this place is surprisingly good. I’ve ordered a couple times. Really good price for the portion. Definitely will be a regular customer going forward.

Always late never on time! Place an order at 6.40pm it is now 815pm still hasn't turned up! Every time you call them they always say it the next order out or the driver has just left. Jokers don't bother....

Really love this place, situated in a residential street, a real locals bar. Garden is lovely too, staff all super friendly.

The food just wasn’t authentic. Felt like it was cooked a while ago, no spices, herbs or flavour to it. Everything just lacked taste. The garlic naan looked like it came out a packet and just warmed in a microwave. It’s definitely not an authentic curry and it’s been tuned right down for the western tongue. The waiter however was very friendly and replaced our dishes with something more spicy but even then, just lacked in flavour for us. Service was friendly, but food sadly is a let down.

We ordered our food at 22:40 ish, received confirmation that it had been accepted and would arrive in about 15 minutes. Thought that sounded too good to be true... An hour and a half later, after multiple attempts to call the restaurant and the delivery drivers (we had 4 of them, 3 of them dropped out without any attempts at contacting us), I receive a phone call in very broken English that the driver is outside. He was outside the restaurant. They'd closed. He thought my number was the one for the restaurant, and no one had tried to contact him. They couldn't be bothered to make sure the food got to us, or to inform the delivery drivers that they were closing. They simply accepted the order and then shut. I've put my complaint through on ubereats, but for anyone out there wanting a decent takeaway - this is not the place. The food is actually nice. But it's likely you'll never see the food you've actually paid for.

Superb roast lunch, I would like to thank Jazz the chef, he genuinely cares about customers and their enjoyment of their food, he puts the lot in Toby Carvery Ewell to shame. The meats are all cooked perfectly, the potatoes are crispy and yummy and the vegetables are fresh, this Toby is by far the best we've ever been to, we leave in Ewell village 3 minutes from the Ewell carvery and we travel nearly 20 minutes to this one because of the high standards of the food, Excellent job, would highly recommend it!!! Xmas dinner for £80. Starter fair desert good. Main Xmas dinner very poor. Soggy overcooked sprouts. No stuffing. Tasteless turkey breast joint. Bisto or similar beef gravy. Cheap pigs in blankets. They could not even be bothered to make gravy from the juices or even buy the turkey gravy from waitrose. Understaffed so slow service. I would have been embarrassed to serve such shoddy fair for someones Xmas dinner. Clearly the cook, def not a chef, did not care and the lack of love showed.

Sweet and sour sauce was missing from the sweet and sour pork balls.

We changed from our regular Chinese we had been going to for years after it went downhill. We firstly tried a few others, one not far from China spice and 2 more in the area, the one not far from China spice , 5 was probably the worst Chinese we’ve ever had, greasy and every dish was very very sweet, almost inedible. Thank goodness we persevered and tried China spice, we have ordered 5 times now and has been on point every single time, always fresh and steaming hot. Not at all greasy and sits well in your tummy without the horrid feeling you get after the overload of msg, salt and sugar and grease you get from a lot of other Chinese establishments, also to add the owner is very friendly and accommodating, a really nice guy 👌

Absolutely delicious Mac n Cheese and the Canneloni were also a treat. The garlic bread was a bit too thin on the garlic but thats ok. Cant please everyone. Deliveryman was also very nice person, will order again.

Has a good menu, price is good, portion size is generous, the quality of food is what you want from a local kebaby and I've found the guys very polite. The customer side of the counter is dated and worn but clean and functional. Overall a great kebab shop.

Nice pub and good for a drink. Bar staff didn't really know what they had available though

Food was good as usual and staff were fantastic. The manager on duty was absolutely wonderful. Only gripe was waiting in line whilst staff made up multiple takeaway meals keeping the line waiting at one point for ten minutes or so as they were using the same utensils as customers waiting in line to fill the boxes so we were having to wait until they'd done the boxes to use the spoons.
