Quirky little cafe that is tastefully decorated. Serves homemade cakes, scones etc. I would recommend this cafe to my friends for a champagne breakfast anytime.
Overall disappointing, both the fish and chips were extremely greasy and unhealthy. The service was perfunctory. Like other similar take aways it is no longer a cheap option
Me and my husband regularly buy cakes and desserts in Bachmanns Thames Ditton. They have beautiful cakes, no doubt .
But the customer service is not matching, because they are spoiled, have become too big for their shoes. I am not sure.
Very often the sales assistants take a bit down to you and in general seem very miserable and they are making you a favour serving you.
Today we went to buy another cake and asked to be cut in half and to be placed in 2 different boxes. That was a big issue, we were told this is something they don't normally do but on the occasion they will. Really, was it so difficult, were we asking too much? One of the pattiseurs came out, we thanked her, but no smile, no acknowledgement. Don't really understand this behaviour.
Popped in for a coffee whilst staying in Claygate and it was lovely. Staff were really friendly and helpful. But the most impressive part of my visit was happening upon a gluten free blondie! I’ve literally been saying to my friends who work in bakeries and cafes that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to try one because they’re never gluten free, and here we are! I was so excited, and it was lovely.
My friend & I were excited to go out for afternoon tea to celebrate out birthdays. On arrival the greeting was lukewarm and we were directed down a corridor where we were met by a member of staff, acknowledged and then walked back down the same corridor to where we started. The chairs were uncomfortable so we moved. it was cold - my friend had her coat draped round her shoulders during the entire meal. Customer service was excellent to start with but then our server disappeared and we were left to our own devices. I had a code for a free drink which I had given at the time of booking but even so I had to had over the magazine advert (good thing I took it). I was charged £4.50 for a bottle of fizzy water on top of £35 a head for the Afternoon Tea - this was not made clear. The background music was too loud for talking so we had to ask for it to be turned down. I asked for English Breakfast tea - when it arrived it was far too strong like ink so I had to ask for hot water to dilute it - this was not automatically served with the tea. They did have soy milk though. The food was impressive - dainty sandwiches, scones and cakes - but not if you were gluten free. My gluten free choices paled in comparison to my friend's and I am not convinced everything was gluten free. During the meal only once did a server come to check on us. At the end of the meal, my friend had to get up from the table in search for a member of staff in order to get the bill. We also asked for doggy bags to take home the food we hadn't eaten. We were presented with cardboard containers and had to put the food inside them ourselves. The member of staff seemed keen to see us gone. There was a general feeling that they didn't really care whether we'd had a good time or not. We then wandered down several corridors looking for the exit and no member of staff came up to us to assist. Eventually we figured it out for ourselves. We did wonder why the hotel was deserted. Now we know.
Owner is rude and split personality, disrespectful and dishonest to paying customers.
She’s definitely got the wrong attitude to be working with the puppy.
She also doesn’t pay staff on time.
And she very jealous of people who know more than her.
After a long and stressful day at Ashford Hospital we rang through our order on our way home at 6.30. We picked it up twenty minutes later and it was hot, freshly cooked and delicious. We're new to this area and Mr. Turtle had been recommended to us and now we know why. We'll be back very soon!
The staff in walton on Thames are super ever so friendly always remember your order and are so helpful xx There was a stage when the place was dirty the staff well not so friendly and now they have def turned a corner new management and staff some olden goldies not by ages but by service and they are soaring 😊
Ordered off delivroo took two hours, crepes stone cold and tough chicken burger consisted of two chicken nuggets and also stone cold only passable if you are drunk absolutely appalling for the price
It doesn’t matter how many times I ask for my mochas to be extra hot, I still get served one that I can’t even describe as hot. Not bothering to go here again, which is a shame because Caffe Nero do the best mocha. I get a proper hot drink in the Cobham and Kingston branches. Don’t know what the problem is in Esher.
Visited today for bra fittings. We saw Mandie and she is an asset to M&S. She took time, was patient
and extremely helpful giving advise. She made the visit a pleasure, she has excellent customer service skills. If I should need this service again I definitely will ask for her, and recommend her to others.
Located in the High Street this very usual van sells tasty kebabs etc. we stopped here just after 9 o'clock in the evening and a kebab It did the trick for us. Obviously it was fairly basic but was enjoyable
