It doesn’t matter how many times I ask for my mochas to be extra hot, I still get served one that I can’t even describe as hot. Not bothering to go here again, which is a shame because Caffe Nero do the best mocha. I get a proper hot drink in the Cobham and Kingston branches. Don’t know what the problem is in Esher.

The coffee and cake selection is fine and the staff efficient and friendly... but the reputation as the local dog friendly cafe is being abused. One day last week there were 5 dogs in attendance, one placed on a seat. A person with 2 dogs took their drinking bowl to the counter for a water refill. The staff are not in my view sufficiently hygiene aware. I am not anti dogs, but one per customer and the dog kept on the floor seems a reasonable compromise.

Excellent service, excellent menu and items. And in the heat of the summer, excellent AC! Comfortable, great stop for breakfast for the family of 6!

Cafe Nero is the coffee chain where dogs are welcome. We go to this coffee shop most days because the staff are friendly, the cafe is clean and our dog is always welcome. Thank you Cafe Nero!

Fantastic staff, many of the cafe Nero outlets could learn from the quality of service provided within the Esher Cafe. Coffee was great, as was the food.

Cafe Nero is a chain coffee shop. We always use this chain as they allow dogs where none of the other chains do! The difference with this Cafe Nero is the attitude of their staff. We have used this location ever since it opened a few years ago and during that time there have been quite a few staff changes. However of the perhaps 20 different staff who have served us over that period they all have one thing in common. Great work ethic..great service..very very friendly and interested in your welfare...KEEP IT UP nero1

The great thing about the Nero chain is that you are allowed to take well behaved dogs with you. This is a huge market that others ignore! Nero is manned by enthusiastic staff, serves a large variety of specialist coffees and teas and delicious pastries and snacks.

We had a lovely Saturday night dinner at The Queen’s Head in Weybridge yesterday. I chose the Chalkstream Trout, whilst my partner had the venison. We then both chose the same dessert, the pistachio soufflét, which was excellent. We must also give a shout out to our waitress, Jolie, who was brilliant. We can highly recommend dining at The Queen’s Head.

My partner and I came out a little while ago for a little date to watch the rugby. I learnt when we arrived that their cocktail menu is very bare. (DON’T come, if you’re coming for cocktails - even the basics ones! also NO food being served even though the website says they do!) I made my disappointment clear to the very young looking bartender about not having any cocktails. He said he could make me an off menu ‘special’ cocktail he learnt while he was living in Africa. It was special type of customer service I had never experienced before! My partner had a very fine New Zealand Savvy B. All negatives aside, the pub is very affordable for it being in the centre of Weybridge, cozy decor and both were staff were excellent. They also have a pool table at the back!! Don’t see that too often nowadays. Recommend if you’re ever in the weybridge area and in need of some cheap booze!

I really miss the place that did a roast in a massive Yorkshire pud as you walked into the services. That was some time ago now! Always busy here, a popular stop but nice food options and clean toilets.

Disappointed. Walked in and it smelt funny. Tea pot filthy. Coffee bitter. Didn’t drink and walked away to Mada Deli up the road.
