Great pub which I use often but it is sad to see the marquee looking so old , dirty and well worn . It doesn’t give a good impression of a lovely pub inside ? It’s really time to get a new one !

Exceptional staff . A big shout out to Jolie who was charming and helpful to us as she guided us through the menu, and especially pointing out dishes that had been added at the last moment to replace any dishes had sold out .The kitchen make sure that if something has gone - that your choices do not diminish. I had the sea Trout which was just perfect. Whenever we encountered any of the other staff they were as equally friendly and charming. Lovely meal . will definitely eat here again.

We had a lovely Saturday night dinner at The Queen’s Head in Weybridge yesterday. I chose the Chalkstream Trout, whilst my partner had the venison. We then both chose the same dessert, the pistachio soufflét, which was excellent. We must also give a shout out to our waitress, Jolie, who was brilliant. We can highly recommend dining at The Queen’s Head.

Visited on Sunday for lunch. Starter menu not as appealing to our group as it used to be, but I recognise that is a matter of personal taste. Three of the five had onion soup, which was fine, but the other two chose to forego a starter. The main course was not good. One guest stuck her fork into her vegetarian 'roast' but failed to penetrative it as it was still frozen solid. Other guests literally had one potato with a roast dinner and their vegetables were overcooked. A memorable meal for the wrong reasons. We are not likely to trouble the establishment again. Service was good otherwise I'd have only given them one star.

Went for Sunday lunch with 6 adults and one child. The roasts were all delicious and came with Yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese. The steak was a proper size and not a bavette. I recently had dinner with friends at the Queen's Head in Weybridge. It is a charming, higher end pub with excellent food and drinks. To start we all enjoyed a signature G & T; which was excellent. For starters we had the cheese souffle and prawn and crawfish cocktail. Both were delicious! For my main course I chose the mussels marinere with chips. The portion was large. The mussels were a bit grainy but still tasty. My dinner companions chose the cod filet with butter bean cassoulette and the gnocchi. Both were very good. For desert, we had Autumn Still Life an the Chocolate Feuillentine. Both were fabulous! Service was fantastic and what a great place for an evening out with friends. This is not your run of the mill pub grub but rather high end and worth the price. Be sure to make a reservation for dinner as they get VERY busy!

Due to mixed reviews both myself and my partner decided to dine out at the queens head and to see for ourselves. The bar staff are very friendly and the food was very nice. We found our waitress Jolie to be very polite and very charming. Always greeted us both with a smile and took her time to go through the food and wine menu. She showed outstanding customer service skills beyond our expectations and myself and my partner had a very enjoyable night out. In my opinion, I highly recommend the queens head as it truly has a nice tranquil atmosphere but most of all I would like to thank Jolie and she went above and beyond to make our night out most enjoyable.

Excellent all round. Food was brilliant, we ate a 3 course meal and didn’t feel like we needed to lie down for 2 days. This part is also a compliment - the service was slow. I repeat, that is not a problem - the service was fully attentive, I just never got the feeling they wanted us out of there - they took the time between courses and just let us enjoy the evening. There is nothing worse than feeling like you have rented the table for 45 minutes and they are going to throw food and drink down your throat as fast as possible to get you out of there. Started at 7.30, left at 11, I’m inclined to come back and start even earlier next time. 2 people, 3 courses and 2 bottles of wine cost £150 - you can decide if that’s good value for money or not in 2024.

A beautiful place for a Sunday roast! This was our first time at the Queens Head. The food was great the crab balls for starter were amazing and the pork roast delicious our bellies were full! We squeezed in a delicious cheesecake to end a fantastic meal. What I really loved was though was the service, friendly, attentive and just damn right nice chatty people! There was a young waiter who recognised that my autistic son may struggle with the noise and room temperature and came over to reassure him. What a great guy he certainly made us feel at home when at times it’s really hard for us to all eat out together if it’s crowded and noisy. Nothing was a problem for the staff here a great team making a lazy Sunday even better. Thank you 🙏🏻

Came for a Sunday roast, about 3pm so quite late into service but the food wasn’t great. Such a shame because the service was absolutely amazing, and I’ve had great meals here before! Cauliflower cheese was watery, gravy was VERY watery, vegetables were all bland, they were out of the veggie option (understandable because it was later into service but still disappointing - there isn’t a vegan roast option at all either) our first batch of roasties were underdone (second much better). My partner got a pork roast which had no crackling, and I got some fish instead of a roast which came with garlic butter that nearly blew my head off!! Usually I would send food back rather than leaving a bad review as I think it’s a little unfair, I’m sure the team would’ve been absolutely fine had i said something but because it was pretty much all bad for both me and my partner it felt pointless. Again the team were all wonderful with quick and polite service, I’m sure it was just an off day, but seems a shame when they’ve been doing roasts for as long as I can remember and it was no busier than an average Sunday! And it ain’t cheap either 😅

We were staying locally and I walked in hoping for a table. We were immediately greeted at the bar by 3 very welcoming members of staff, one of which walked us through to the restaurant and arranged our table. The waiter was friendly, polite and professional. I couldn’t decide what to have, everything all sounded so delicious, so the waiter recommended the pork, and we ordered our starters and one pork and one beef pie. The food arrived swiftly and it was exceptional. My pork was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time and my fussy husband ate every crumb of his pie. It’s a shame we don’t live locally because we would visit more often. I’d read some negative reviews before we arrived which made me nervous to try this place, but I’m so glad we took a punt. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure and I can only assume that the person writing the negative review was my Nan (impossible to please) or Gordon Ramsay. Definitely give this place a try!

We have eaten here many times over the last 3 years. The first experiences were great in terms of quality, services and environment but the last meals we had this year 2024 came as disappointing and today's meal proved that we won't come back. I ordered 3x medium Sunday beef roasts and what we had were roast beefs over grilled on top so the meat was too dried and not soft.First time eating a roast burned grillled!! All I received from the service was an apologise. So we didn't bother to have desserts (which are normally good) and just left. Environment was too noisy and service took a while.

Dinner last Saturday night. Food was poor - sold out of pie so I had to reorder. I didn’t fancy anything else really but I was told the prawns were fresh so ordered those with black rice and bisque. It wasn’t hot, the prawns were woolly - couldn’t see the bisque just a pile of black mush! But worse was to come. My son ordered another round of drinks which was a large gin n tonic with a separate soda water. He didn’t notice immediately as he was busy with his 2 year old but after a while he realised he had a soda water but no gin n tonic. I tasted it and agreed. He complained to the waiter and explained why it was half empty and suggested he tasted it. He took it to the bar. Whereupon the manager approached and said it was definitely a gin n tonic but he couldn’t check it because it had been thrown away. There is a method of checking that is hygienic! He couldn’t be wrong because the bar manager himself did the order!! He apparently is infallible! He finally agreed , in a charmless way, to take it off the bill. He did not offer to get a replacement or apologise. He was clearly annoyed. After 10 minutes my son got up to find him and order another drink and this time the manager admitted the bar manager said he remembered it because he put the soda in the gin!! So the order was wrong. Point proven Mr Manager. My son doesn’t live here anymore but lives in Malaysia and didn’t realise that he’d been charged a gratuity. So if you’re reading this please return the tip and teach your manager how to handle a complaint! An evening totally ruined. The rest of the staff were excellent.

We have eaten here many times and always had good meals but the our lunch was dissapointing and of a poor standard. We took our family here visiting from abroad for them to experience a proper Sunday Roast. The cut of meat was overcooked and small, the vegetables were very plain, the roast potatoes were stale, salty and the whole plate was luke warm. For dessert we had the pistachio souffle which has always been perfectly done here but last time all 3 of ours were flat at the table. I hope this was just an off day, dissapointing especially at this price point.

Possibly the best pub food I’ve ever had. Not the cheapest, but great value for what you get. If you’re after standard mass produced pub fare you might want to look elsewhere but if you want a menu that’s beyond predictable and cooked by a chef who clearly takes pride in what’s served, this place is definitely worth a trip. The Queen's Head, a historic tavern with a touch of class. This establishment has been serving locals and travelers alike for generations, its walls steeped in stories of days gone by. Overall, it's a decent spot for a bite and a brew. The food? Average at best. But fear not, weary traveler, for the drinks more than make up for it. From crisp pints to perfectly mixed cocktails, they've got you covered on the liquid front. And let's not forget about the staff. Super friendly and always ready with a smile, they'll make you feel right at home from the moment you walk through the door. Now, would I make a special trip back to The Queen's Head? Probably not. But as a solid standby after exploring a few other options? You could do a lot worse. So, if you find yourself in Weybridge and in need of a watering hole with a bit of character, give The Queen's Head a try. You might just be pleasantly surprised.

We went for Sunday roasts and ordered the chicken and beef - both had a decent mix of vegetables - chicken needed stuffing (ie like the minnow) and the yorkshires were decent. The beef was beautifully cooked and tender. However……for some bizarre reason they are still serving vegan gravy which tastes horrible and really lets the meal down! When questioned the waiter said they couldn’t manage to do a vegan and normal gravy! Surely just need two pans! Not sure will be returning - which is a shame as otherwise food is good.

Very disappointed with the overall presentation with the burger plonked on one end of a long plate and a small “tin” of chips at the other with not garnish and I couldn’t even see the extra Gorgonzola with meat part being a bit hard - and all for £17.50! Booked a table with my wife for Sunday lunch. We used to be regulars for dinner and Sunday lunch. Sadly, the experience today was very disappointing other than the staff, who were very good. We both had our minds set on a roast beef lunch. They had no roast beef left. We both ordered roast chicken. The chicken was dry, there was no greens, the roast potatoes were like mash and they ran put of gravy!!! Sadly we won't rush back which is sad because the quality of the food used to be very good. I would however reiterate the staff were lovely (and apologetic!)

Great restaurant. The food was good and the service was attentive . Sara was our waitress and was great. We had the January deal with half price mains with two courses. Our friend was visiting from the US and we always come here with him.

Really enjoyed our meal here. The menu was excellent and the food was much higher quality than other pubs in the area. Waiting staff were excellent.

Out with friends...dinner for 6. The service was very good and food good. Portions a little small but ok. Price was reasonable too. Overall good but not great. Result of post COVID / inflation

Great food beautifully presented. Monday lunch so at 12.45 only people in restaurant but more came but wasn’t crowded. Great very helpful but unobtrusive service. Shall definitely go again.

Great food at great prices (mains about 20 quid), with friendly staff who were attentive without hovering. Really good atmosphere as well. Top draw.

I really miss the place that did a roast in a massive Yorkshire pud as you walked into the services. That was some time ago now! Always busy here, a popular stop but nice food options and clean toilets.

Disappointed. Walked in and it smelt funny. Tea pot filthy. Coffee bitter. Didn’t drink and walked away to Mada Deli up the road.

The land lady is as rude as they come. DO NOT GO THERE. YOUR BETTER OFF SITTING ON A BENCH. At least you wont be spoken to rudely. If you dont buy a pint within 10min of finishing she will ask you to leave. Never been to a pub like this one. 👎🏻

Lovely pub, nice beer, would have liked to tast the food but they had stopped at 3 pm. Will definitely try again, as I say Lovely old school pub.
