Such a great little cafe in Claygate. We've descended on it a few times as a group of families with small children meeting for coffee and breakfast, and they are so accommodating and the food is great. Alex is particularly helpful finding space for the prams and bringing colouring crayons for the kids! Would highly recommend!!

Used to come here years ago before it changed management. Glad I returned. It’s a great place - decorated in a modern but homely way, and now with a loo you don’t have to go outside to thank goodness. Food freshly made and a good choice of sandwiches, quiche, savouries and even chips. Homemade Rocky road is an artery bursting treat. Front staff are excellent - young, efficient and really friendly. So shout out to Joey, Will and Tegan - they’re lucky to have you. Really recommend this place to have lunch or coffee and relax.

The food & coffee cannot be faulted in the slightest... Food tasted incredibly fresh, healthy and very flavourful with generous portions. The coffee is probably the best I’ve tried, incredible taste and didn’t want it to end... Service was okay, needs improvement hence why I gave a 4*. One waiter was very friendly and helpful but 2 of the waitresses were a little unwelcoming. Service was a little delayed than what I would’ve expected. I would definitely go back here for the great food & coffee and recommend.... great local gem!

This is a lovely little eatery on the main road through Claygate leading down to the station. It is bright airy and has some querky paintings and uplifting slogans around the walls. I particularly like "Be a pineapple, wear a crown, stand tall and be sweet on the inside". The staff and service was very good and we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast with some very good coffee. I'm fussy about coffee but had a second cup here so I was impressed. This place has also been voted the 'Best Breakfast in Surrey 2019' well deservedly I'd say.

Decided last minute to try the 'small plate' evening menu with my 2 sons for a relaxed birthday supper. Food was absolutely delicious - portions generous. Though small menu between us we tried almost every option and could not fault anything.. the Thai chicken meatballs and corn, squash, feta combination and bacon and pea on toast were our favourite, but all delicious. Lovely staff, Sonia and Ella looked after us and it was a perfect way to celebrate a birthday. Thank you!

This is the first mail thatI have had at the Parade and Albany two of us had the eggs Benedict which were very good the third person had the full English breakfast which she thoroughly enjoyed. It’s a shame that this hasn’t got a good ambience. I always think when I have been in for a coffee that it is just a Cafe. Everyone talks highly of the food that is served on the Friday and Saturday evening. When I dine out on a Friday or Saturday I’ll be far more restaurant type of place to eat that has atmosphere.

We give P&A a try from time to time hoping they might improve... They do not.Service is very indifferent and hardly ever friendly. Staff keep forgetting orders, coffee is just about warm when it finally arrives. I ordered a bacon sandwich and it was the most miserable two small slices of bread ever put together - I should have taken a photo! No garnish, just a tiny excuse of a sandwich. I told the waiter that my sandwich looked pretty pathetic but his response was very indignat - he basically said that obviously it will look like that as I ordered a cheap dish! Seriously?! There is a lot of attitude in that cafe and I never once felt that they care about their customers so will not bother giving them chances anymore.

Visited this morning - very busy but got a table and ordered 2 coffees and a bacon sandwich. The sandwich arrived after 10 minutes and were told the coffees were on their way.....it was another 10 minutes before they arrived by which time the sandwich was cold . The coffee was great, the bacon and bread were excellent too but customers should be informed of any delay when ordering and the drinks should come before or with the food. Twenty minutes wait for coffee isn’t acceptable in a coffee shop! The waitress we said this to said sorry but they were busy .....we had to bolt the coffee down and I had to head back to move the car while my husband paid. If you can’t cope with demand then limit the number of customers you have .

Popped in for lunch and found the menu options somewhat limited - sandwich options almost non existent. Fancied a bacon and egg roll - it was on the breakfast menu but not after 11.30am but as bacon, eggs etc were on the menu for other lunch options I assumed it wouldn't be a problem. No. Only until 11.30. No explanation, no apology, just an inflexible 'no'. Ordered a hugely overpriced quesadilla instead. It was okay but too expensive for what it was. My husband had a fishcake which was also seemed very expensive for what he got (he was allowed an egg though!). Having read the responses to the previous criticisms I would anticipate an equally defensive response from the manager. How about just accepting that the customer is always right?

After waiting for some months for Williams to reopen, the Parade and Albany cafe is now in full swing and is indeed an asset to the High-street, the service from the young staff is a little fundamental but adequate, a smile or two would not come amiss. Had my parents over for the day today, they don't get over much these days as my dad is very ill. I wanted to treat them both to some lunch so I thought we would try the Parade & Albany (despite the bad reviews heard from friends). My dad struggles to eat certain foods and gets nervous eating out so we just ordered him some toast to be on the safe side. The young man who served us returned to tell my dad matter of factly that he couldn't have toast as it wasn't on the menu!!!?? I pointed out that there was a choice of many things "on" toast on the menu, fried egg, poached egg, scrambled egg, cheese you name it so why couldn't he have toast?? He blamed the chef. No apology, no offer of an alternative, just no toast and off he stomped. You are a cafe in Claygate Village not a michelin starred restaurant in central London darlings please come back down to reality. Suffice to say we won't be returning. There are far nicer places to eat in Claygate where the staff are friendly, polite and down to earth and who accept the fact that every once in a while a customer might just want something a little different to whats on the menu (like toast)!

Had a lovely dinner a couple of weeks ago.Only open for dinner Friday & Saturday. Great service, really excellent food & small but well put together menu selection to cover all tastes & they are happy to accommodate requests. I had the Roasted beetroot, mushroom, goat cheese + caramelised hazelnut tart & my friend had the Fragrant beef brisket croquettes with Asian slaw. For mains we had Sea bass with fennel, crayfish + dill risotto, rocket + lemon oil & the Wild mushroom + basil risotto with red onion marmalade. All exceptional & recommend.Good wine selection too. My only negative is the ambience, it still looks & feels like the daytime deli/cafe but with mid/high restaurant prices. That said the food warrants this it really was delicious but just feel something is missing that you get in other restaurants. Maybe some background music to assist the ambience? Table cloths? Not sure, maybe its just me! Don't let that put you off though, worth a visit & a great addition to Claygate.Thank you, Jenny x

We have eaten ( dined ) twice now at this fairly new cafe/restaurant and on each occasion the quality of the food has surpassed expectations by a distance. It's only open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays ( an upmarket cafe/deli during every other day ) and I'd go so far as to say it's the best food of it's kind in the area ( including Esher ). For example my main first time round was a rib eye of bacon ( yes bacon ) served on pureed cauliflower and with a side of beetroot horseradish ....I mean seriously ??? Next time I had sea bream which was off the park fantastic. But, it needs atmosphere in the evenings and that will inevitably come when its reputation spreads. I think the pricing structure is fair and it's good to see a number of wines available by the glass. Service by the young team is with a smile and is spot on. My prediction is that in a few months time there will be a waiting list for a table. It really is that good.

This is a new eatery , is very popular and buzzy. The egg dishes look good, I have the full English with black pudding which they may do into the brunch/ lunch period if you ask. I found the coffee very nice - usually I get a coffee in Cafe Capital opposite. There is an array of food, it's a good meeting place for parents with kids/ prams - there are some toys etc for children. Also dogs are welcome. All in all a relaxed environment. There are inside and outside tables and a small bar stool area too. I found the staff ok, there was a really friendly fair haired server who engaged customers in friendly conversation. Some people may not find it cheap but there is a good flow of people in and out so others will find the prices fine. Must mention the toilet - clean, large, quality hand paper/towelette and with a baby changing area. Overall this is a nice modern eatery, a good addition to the village, definitely worth visiting and should be very successful.

The staff are pleasant and the place itself is bright and clean however...we both had a cupcake and a coffee and felt that it was dry and tasteless. Tasted like a shop bought mix which for £2.50 a cupcake is a nice tidy profit! The coffee itself wasn’t that appealing and not as nice as that of costa and cafe Nero.People will keep coming as there aren’t really any other options but please try to source some nicer ingredients for baking or just buy better quality produce in. For the price you should come away feeling you’ve had a real treat not that you could have had a nice cup of coffee and cake at home!

We go there quite often but mostly leave slightly disappointed. Coffee is not the greatest and portion sizes are small. On our most recent visit we had a bacon sandwich and poached eggs on toast - both small and for the price we expected nicer bread than what we got (it tasted like a cheap loaf from a co-op). I have visited Parade and Albany on a regular basis since they opened their doors in July and can therefore say from (a lot) of experience that this place is outstanding. The menu is so vast that I am still able to choose something new every time I visit and have not been disappointed. Alan, and his team of talented chefs deliver delicious dishes, often with twists on classics, which continuously exceed expectations. Whenever I am unsure on what to eat the team, who are knowledgeable about the menu, provide welcome recommendations and will make small changes when necessary to my personal preferences! My most recent meal was the Brindisa Chorizo dish and I don't know if I will ever try anything else because it was so delicious...but, alas...with a menu such as theirs I will have to continue to explore as I know, whatever I do try will always be a delight. The happy, helpful team at P+A always brighten a morning, it is so refreshing to see young people working hard and loving what they do. I visit far too many small businesses where you are greeted by a hostile atmosphere and staff who would quite frankly rather be somewhere else. Not here, the team always make you feel welcome and the little touches such as a heart on your fantastic coffee, warms you from the inside when delivered with a smile. You are doing a fantastic job and have brought such a buzz to the parade. Now I have somewhere to meet friends and family and enjoy a delicious meal in a warm and friendly environment. - I can't recommend Parade and Albany enough!!

Decided to pop in one morning. I looked up the café online hoping to find a menu, and despite having been open for over 2 months, their website still only says "coming soon." Not ideal. When I got there, I ordered a hot chocolate. Was told that it would be brought to the table. Sat down, and after 5 minutes waitress came up to lady at the table opposite me, also clearly waiting, to clarify her order - a black coffee. After a further 5 minutes we looked at each other in despair. Then what I thought resembled my hot chocolate was delivered to her. She didn't touch it, and nothing had been brought to me for over 15 minutes. Then a waiter brought her coffee, and she pointed out their mistake and returned the hot chocolate to them. Someone then came to clarify my order, and brought me the returned hot chocolate. By the time it reached me, second hand, it was cold. How hard can it be to get two drinks orders right? Waiting staff don't seem to have a drive for customer service, are lacadaisical and have attitude. Prices are high for a poor experience. I drank it and walked out. I don't think I'll be back. Such a shame, the old place was far better. Go to café capital instead. Also weirdly closed on a Monday :/

Felt like a nice enough place when we walked in. The food and service however, was questionable. My 'ham hock and melted chedder toast' was in fact a slice of shop bought bread with a few slithers of ham covered in some grilled CHEESE PASTE. Looked like vomit, tasted worse and was sent back to the kitchen. Noticed other customers sending the same back to the kitchen. My partner's chicken ceaser salad looked and tasted like it was straight from a catering pack. No love or care in their 'food'. Lots of young staff having fun but not doing much. (DON’T come, if you’re coming for cocktails - even the basics ones! also NO food being served even though the website says they do!) I made my disappointment clear to the very young looking bartender about not having any cocktails. He said he could make me an off menu ‘special’ cocktail he learnt while he was living in Africa. It was special type of customer service I had never experienced before! My partner had a very fine New Zealand Savvy B. All negatives aside, the pub is very affordable for it being in the centre of Weybridge, cozy decor and both were staff were excellent. They also have a pool table at the back!! Don’t see that too often nowadays. Recommend if you’re ever in the weybridge area and in need of some cheap booze!

Ryan - what a star- friendly attentive and professional. Thanks for the lovely service and great food. Treacle tart! This isn’t seen on enough menus! Well done hand and spear

I really miss the place that did a roast in a massive Yorkshire pud as you walked into the services. That was some time ago now! Always busy here, a popular stop but nice food options and clean toilets.

Disappointed. Walked in and it smelt funny. Tea pot filthy. Coffee bitter. Didn’t drink and walked away to Mada Deli up the road.
