Should change working hours for Sunday. As spent 15min driving to place, just to find it shut. Bad beginning for a day.

Absolute RIP OFF. ordered 4 bacon egg and sausage rolls for delivery. 9.12 per roll. And it was absolutely awful…this is my honest opinion, you wouldn’t even feed it to your dog. AVOID at all costs.

It's small,not overly crowded and you can eat in peace. The food was excellent and a lot, didn't expect that much. Will definitely go back there if I am close to it.

Overall this cafe isnt bad but as someone who has had stomach surgery and can not eat a large amount of food, they tried telling me a couldnt order off of the kids menu, so be forewarned you will have to fight to order from it.

Food was ok but won't be going back there found a black hair on my plate once half way through eating i wen't up a questioned it the waiters both looked at each other and said its not our hair trying to pass the blame on to me whilest the owner stood back and rudely asked what he wants me to do this was not necessary service so i said i will pay for what i have eaten all workers should be wearing hair nets to prevent this form happening

This is a really busy cafe in Hershem village. This place is always busy, they really treat the customers well. It has a really friendly atmosphere . Really clean and modern cafe . You can eat in or takeaway or order from your local delivery service online

The all day breakfasts are good with loads of choice. They do great takeaway too - bacon and sausage rolls - yum! There are other meals on the menu - cottage pie, jacket potatoes with choice of fillings and even roast dinners and deserts. Can't remember it all as we only wanted breakfast. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. They make a mean mug of tea or coffee. Service was very quick. Good value.

Food was basic, plain. Ingredients used are all processed stuffs. But that’s not so much issue here, what’s most disgusting was the owner behaviour, rude, mocking rude, angry. Totally no customer service attitude. I was just wanted to mix and match some stuffs on my breakfast , instead of fries I want slice cheese and toast. He was angry and said to me that can go to different restaurants . Stay away from this restaurant people!!!!!

Pop in there today bt 1 pm and this lady came towards us waving and shouting rudely “ we are closed” it said it closes at 3 pm not even an “excuse we have to close early” nothing, rudely kicking us out! We’ve been there before many times will never come back again! And then they say support small businesses…..

Food was nice but gave me a stomach upset.

Gave a 4 star because they cooked the black pudding to long. Other wise really nice food... Black pudding cooked better today

Just popped in to this cafe today 15th Jan 2022 08:35, as recommended by friends. PLEASE do not use this place. Fancied a Sat morn brekie and thought give this a try as in the area. What a mistake!. It was early and staff were not busy not really doing anything there were two other customers in (maybe not a good sign but was early) I was looking at the menu and saw that you could change one item so changed tomatoes for hash browns this was on the veggie breakfast (note, on this site says Veggie Friendly they are NOT!!) My partner wanted just a latte but I cajoled her into something light from the other side (non brekie) of the menu. We were then charged £13 which was £2 over. I asked the pleasant person serving me why. I was told tea and the bread was extra. I said but it says it is included in the breakfast and pointed to the sign above that we had been reading from. Queue a bloke not sure if he is the owner coming from around the serving place out of no where very aggressive gestating and pointing at the board that this is not included. I said but I wanted the Veggie breakfast he then talked angrily over me and said it's not included in the veggie breakfast. I said but the board said it's included in all breakfasts. He then said no again raising his voice. I backed away as he was right in front of me and said perhaps you might want to amend your board. This inflamed him even more and he said I am the first person to say this in 8 years. He was getting angrier and I said why are you being like this it is far too early in the morning. He just became more angry and his arms started flailing even more! I said fine don't bother and asked for money back to which he said not going to serve you anyway. Really bizarre behaviour the look on the other staff's faces kinda said it all, they all seemed aghast by his behaviour, you really would not want to work for this chap. Please stay away really angry bloke! Over the sake of £2 and he was in the wrong. Went to Squires down the road excellent brekie cheaper fantastic service country mile difference go there!! In the end no need for how this chap was hopefully he is having a better day, but save yourself the potential aggro and unpleasantness stay away!! Unfortunately cannot give no stars!

Great food. Good prices. Only downside is its cash only and there isn't a nearby cash machine.

Always top quality, warm food and friendly staff who look after you - even remade my egg as it was over cooked without me asking.

My local cafe and I can’t praise it enough, the food is always great - warm, filling and cooked well. The owner overcooked my eggs by his own admission and made me a new batch when he didn’t need to but little things like this along with the food is why I visit so frequently - highly recommended.

Classic breakfast and lunch cafe. Fried breakfast was very well cooked. And the toast was from a proper loaf, not a sliced one.

The scrambled egg toast was just the egg which tasted microwaved and the orange juice tasted weird. Instead of an apology for the food you instead insult me? This is VERY unprofessional and I will never order from here again. (There is not an uber order option )

Never again. I told the waitress 3 times I don't want Beans with my breakfast please don't give me beans. I'll pay for Mushrooms instead. Yes you guessed it they served me up Beans. No big deal but it's happened elsewhere. Not hard is it?

Regularly used this cafe and it’s gone down hill, I just ordered via deliveroo a regular order I’d order 2-3 times during the week, the rude staff rang me up and told me to cancel the order.. I said I cannot cancel the order my end you haveto do it or I will get charged he ignorantly spoke over me saying I cannot cancel you have to cancel we cannot do this order.. then says bye rudely and Hangs up the phone... he refused to cancel my order he’s taken my money and told me they are not doing the order... this is theft. We support your business and you repay your customers by trying to thieve there orders. And ring them up being extremely rude... I don’t like to complain but your attitude p****d me off you don’t deserve any custom and I will be telling everybody not to go to this ignorant rude thieving cafe... gone down hill mate give up and get out. Ordered a grove breakfast and it was amazing! Packed very well. A huge portion of food. Well worth the money!

Wow £12 for 4 eggs bacon beans and cold toast. What a massive mistake going for breakfast. Trying to help out a local business and then get ripped off. If the quality of the produce was great I wouldn't mind but its not it the worst that money can buy cheap eggs cheap bacon. Dont waste your time. I should have cooked myself!!!!

Let's start with the negative the price you pay here now (use to be reasonable) is steep now. The food is good but there is another place not far that is cheaper and very good but most of all better value for your money. Would I eat here again yes if the other place is closed.

Very quick for the takeaway, however two slices of bacon in a baguette is somewhat tight...especially when the order was for extra bacon!

Absolutely disgusted. My family and I were spoken to in a rude manner. We wanted to have two tables together as there were a few of us, give local business your help, I would not go there again. We were from the same family and they did not want us to sit together, he got very cross and was extremely rude. Ignorant man. We went to the Barley Mow instead who were lovely and deserved the money we spent in there. Totally recommend the Barley Mow and my family and myself will not go there again.

Such great food, lots of homemade specials. An amazing cafe that gives a lot of the restaurants in Walton a run for its money! Give it a go and dont be put off by the thoughts of a typical "greasy spoon" they take real pride in their fayre that they serve. Really lovely family that own it too.

Best cafe in the area food is always hot fresh and tasty 😋 staff are friendly, funny and make sure your looked after, would never ever go to any other cafe!!!

Good all day breakfast type cafe, with other dishes too. IE The modern day greasy spoon which is now clean and not so greasy. Cheap fill up. Not a coffee house type cafe.

Have been there since it opened, always go twice a week sometimes more with my father of 92 he loves it there staff a very friendly and are very good with him, the food is excellent you can choose any combination you like it's always very good I've never had reason to complain.

Like almost all restaurants run by Turkish owners and staff the place was spotlessly clean the food was fantastic I can't talk highly about high enough and grey everything from a cup of tea beans on toast to a full breakfast omelets potatoes all fresh and delicious I would suggest you eat them as often as possible

I usually go to the Half Way Cafe however recently it has gone down hill fast so I was looking for another Brekkie place nearby and the reviews for The Hersham Cafe looked good so I gave it a try today. I'm glad I did, the breakfast was amazing, the staff were very friendly and it's cheap, all served with a proper mug of tea. Great place for breakfast, whatever you choose.

What a place. The omelate with chips and beans was unreal. It must be a 6 egg omelate. We had this breakfast at 10am this morning and it's now 5.20 and we are still not hungry. The staff were all really friendly and oh did I mention the price. 2 omelets, chips and beans and two cups of tea for less than £15. If you just want a good cup of tea it's only £1. One last thing you can see everything being cooked and the kitchen is spotless. Forget paying for your hotel breakfast and get yourself there.

Believe this place hasn’t long opened, but wow, absolutely excellent breakfast and what a selection on the menu! Great big mug of tea which went very well with the breakfast, hate the places you get a wee worthless cup. Clean, fast and friendly staff. Locals don’t lose this place!

A lovely greasy spoon, with wonderful, friendly staff and incredibly flexible menu to suit even the fussiest of eaters! Will come here time and time again! Only downside was there was no card payments, so the OH had to pay!!

I hadn't been here for some time but am glad I went again. The food is very good, and big portions. The staff are friendly and attentive. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. Also, their meals are not expensive. Definitely a good place to have a meal.

As always fantastic food and service. Very friendly staff, no need to actually order, just walk in and they ask us if we want the usual and they remember despot us not going for a while.

Been coming in a 3 years now, every Wednesday lunch time and Friday morning as only work close by. Very friendly staff, Tatiana always lovely and never forgets the order!!

Superb breakfasts. Nothing fancy but lots of it at an excellent price. They also do take out at lunchtime. Closes late afternoon so no e ending meals.

Really lovely people at this place. Disappointed with a pork chop meal (thin dry and tough cutlets) but everything else was good - full english, roast chicken (really roasted not just slices breast meat) and cottage pie (looks like homemade). And yes a great bag-in-the-mug tea to wet your whistle.

Oh my days this place is brilliant , the food is delicious and so much of it. I had the Hersham Special Breakfast which was one fried egg on a fried slice, one sausage, two rashers of crispy bacon, baked beans, bubble and squeak, three pieces of toast and a mug of tea all for £5.50 and my husband had the English breakfast of one fried egg, one sausage, two rashers of bacon, two black puddings, two hash browns, baked beans, three pieces of toast and a mug of coffee all for the same price of £5.50.!! Unbelievable value for money and so very tasty we couldn't actually eat it all so full up!!!

We cannot fault the food here and we've been quite a few times now. They are quick to serve you too. The only thing we find slightly annoying is that they are too quick to start clearing the table whilst you're still eating. We had fried breakfast and toast on a separate plate, as soon as the toast plates were empty the waitress stretched across both of us and took them. My husband was still chewing the last mouthful of his breakfast and she came across and took his plate....why?? I was still eating at this point as I don't eat as fast as my husband. It wasn't like they had a full house and needed the plates or maybe they don't have many and need to get them washed up. We'll carry on going there as the food is always good.
