The best restaurants serving Default food in Elmbridge South East

Since Dale and Big Smoke have taken on the Brick it has morphed into a fantastic pub fully supported by all the locals. The beer choice is excellent as is the food. There is now a genuine interest in the pub and with the Irish music and quiz nights it’s hard to stay out of the place. After years of it virtually being empty it’s great to see locals flocking back.

We stayed in room 11 which was lovely. We checked in at around 5.30 and all was really lovely. The stay was really very good. I had booked breakfast and this was brought my score down. We came down at around 9.45. There were no visible staff, so we walked around trying to find someone. After a few minutes a girl appeared and showed us to our table. She brought us some coffee, no offer of hot milk. She didn’t mention about the breakfast table. But I could see there was some orange juice so poured a glass for myself and my partner. We ordered our breakfast. I had to ask for the orange juice to be topped up as the table next to us had also been drinking it. After a while the pass bell rang and I could see our breakfast sat on the pass. It was a good 5 minutes until the girl went to the pass to serve us our food. We just felt like there wasn’t much care or consideration for us. We have stayed before and had received a much better dining experience for breakfast.

Good choice of food and drink. Clean toilets and free parking for a couple of hours.

This place deserves a Michelin Star. Fantastic dinner and desert. Would highly recommend this place for a fish supper.

Good staff and clientele. The place has just been refurbished, which is a shame because the newness has robbed it of character. Fortunately, no one else seems to mind.

Great food and service as usual

Ended up eating an unplanned dinner here and what a very pleasant surprise! Given that we were the only customers eating in, the service was faultless. The restaurant was extremely clean (I’d maybe give the toilets a bit of a refurb to fit with the rest of the venue but still clean and pleasant to use). The food was absolutely delicious. You could taste the freshness of all the ingredients. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again!

I have reviewed the wrong restaurant and I heartily apologise for that. I would hope to have a visit the london rishi’s and enjoy food there

This is the third time I’ve eaten here and I can safely say that on all three occasions it’s been great.

Nice welcome by polite friendly staff. We were seated next to a party of 8 and could not hear ourselves speak. We asked to be moved and this was done efficiently and effectively. We were celebrating a special occasion and felt that our lunch of 3 courses was rushed. You are only allocated 1hr and 45 mins to occupy the table as a couple and we really felt the courses came too quickly and dessert was put on the table before we had even finished our wine even though a short break was requested. My starter of scallops was tasteless. The melon was virtually frozen in my husband's dish and the food could have done with being hot rather than warm. The portion sizes are good and the staff are attentive and helpful, we just felt rushed.

I've been to this restaurant twice now, and the food and service is immaculate!

My partner and I came out a little while ago for a little date to watch the rugby. I learnt when we arrived that their cocktail menu is very bare. (DON’T come, if you’re coming for cocktails - even the basics ones! also NO food being served even though the website says they do!) I made my disappointment clear to the very young looking bartender about not having any cocktails. He said he could make me an off menu ‘special’ cocktail he learnt while he was living in Africa. It was special type of customer service I had never experienced before! My partner had a very fine New Zealand Savvy B. All negatives aside, the pub is very affordable for it being in the centre of Weybridge, cozy decor and both were staff were excellent. They also have a pool table at the back!! Don’t see that too often nowadays. Recommend if you’re ever in the weybridge area and in need of some cheap booze!
