I have ordered their special dessert gulab jamun and it was not even half cooked. It was soggy and broken. As soon as we ate, felt like throwing out. Its awful taste and they dont even know how to cook. The service was great from the staff Jithu Jayakumar, was so amazing.

Found myself in the Thames Ditton area, in the later evening, as my local Claygate supermarket had shut earlier than usual, and I ended up in another supermarket, in this village. Had never had a takeaway from here before, so I decided to give it a go. Owner/Chef seemed a really pleasant, friendly chap, and the menu had genuine Sri Lankan and Southern Indian dishes, so I was excited to see that. Ordered a Dosai, Tikka Paneer Shaslick and a King Prawn Jalfrezi. I can confirm the food is freshly made to order, in situ, and not cooked in advance, a few hours before - it took time, but I wasn’t in any rush, so that did not bother me, and I like the slower, fresh, made to order, style. The Jalfrezi was fantastic, and the Paneer Shaslick good. Overall I really enjoyed it.

If you want to get standard Indian fare, he will cater for this. His specialty however is South Indian curries which are authentic and home style cooking. Fantastic dinner. Thank you.

Amazing food. Best curry I have ever had. Different dishes to other Indians too, which were amazing and much better than any other Indian food I have ever eaten. Full of flavour.

On the menu it says that the food I ordered came with salad. This is the second time that it hasn’t. If they are going to cut back on items then they should not have it on the menu. I guess they rely on people on complaining. Won’t be ordering from them again.

Some of the best Starters, Curries and Biryani I've ever tasted. Authentic Indian food, nothing pretentious. Good value for money.

We have ordered from here three time. First time was good with no issues, second time it was over an hour late and same again tonight. Lovely food but awful horrendous experience and rude staff. Won’t be using them again

Avoid. Kitchen dirty and place a shambles. Used delivery service and apparently an hour late is ok and not deserving of cnx or refund. Unfortunately untrustworthy

We ordered on Deliveroo, which stated an hour it turned up after 2 and was pretty cold. When we rang and asked they said it was on its way but still took an extra 50 minutes when we rang back they didn’t answer the phone. Curry was very oily

Ordered through Just Eat. Order arrived over an hour late. Potato in biriyani wasn't fully cooked. Attitude of the restaurant was appalling. Absolutely ridiculous. Awful service with substandard food at best Just eat time estimate was between 20:35 to 20:55. Arrived at 21.47. Unacceptable!

Was meant to arrive between 20:35 and 20:55. It arrived at 21:47. This was after speaking to a very disinterested person twice. At 21:10 I was told it was leaving the restaurant and would be with me in 15 minutes which again wasn't fulfilled. The food was lukewarm and the potatoes in the biriyani curry weren't fully cooked. Was told they would call back after speaking to the manager regarding a refund and haven't received a call. Appalling service. Substandard food. Completely ridiculous

Best traditional south Indian breakfast . Ordered for baby shower party around 25 people. Food is excellent and taste is amazing. Everything was ready on time and its 100% authentic home made taste. Friendly management and definitely will order back again

I discovered this little gem of a restaurant after frequently dining at Spice House In Tolworth and I have to say this is my NEW favourite in the area. Chef Thanga is an esteemed and well respected international chef who has worked at some of the most prestigious hotels in the world and every dish he makes is made with love. This is a family run take-away with Chef Thanga and his wife holding down the fort. As. British Indian, I am very fussy about where I eat Indian Food owing to the plethora of Bangladeshi restaurants pretending to be Indian. Everything is prepared fresh, as someone who has a gluten intolerance, Chef Thanga knows how to deal with allergens and avoid cross contamination. I recently celebrated a birthday and was planning an Indian food lunch for friends and family, I was about to change my plans to an evening dinner (as the kitchen does not open till 5:30 pm) but Chef Thanga went out of the way to open up his kitchen in the morning and have the food ready by lunchtime this illustrating his commitment to customer service. The food here is better than Dishoom and I would recommend the saag chicken, crispy mushrooms, Masala Dosa and chick pea curry. In fact these are my favourites but the whole menu is fantastic I look forward to visiting Chef Thanga again and he is more than my local takeaway, he is a friend and asset to the community/

Absolutely delicious food, especially the tandoori chicken. I would have liked a little extra heat but was perfect for my partner. Definitely ordering again.

As a British born Indian, I do have a high standard for Indian food and prior to now I always had to go to Southall.......well not anymore! Rishi Indian Flavours is the BEST Indian food you can get in the area, it is as authentic as it can be. Chef Thanga with his background as a hotel chef at some of the finest hotels in the world really does bring a new perspective to Indian Food. The food is fresh and delicious and I would go so far to say better than Dishoom. I never used to visit Indian take-aways on my own doorstep but this one is my new local and I order at least a few times a week.

I don’t really do reviews but the food here is banging. Highly recommend. Very flavoursome. Well above average and I cook a lot myself and an very well travelled Specially India/Sri Lanka etc.

Ordered the food around 7.20pm and even after close to 2 hours the food has not been delivered yet.

I did not receive my food and Just eat told me I get the refund in 7 days!!!! What a nighmare and I'm so hungry

My family and I ordered some masala dosas yesterday evening and they were amazing. We ordered a takeaway and the food was warm and so fresh when it reached us. Will definitely be ordering from here again! Keep up the great work!!

Rishi Indian Flavours is our absolute favorite restaurant . The food is always fantastic and no matter what we order we are always delighted with our meal. Specially Tandoori chicken with salad is amazing!!!! Considering the quality, the price is reasonable.

We have ordered food from Rishi a few times now and we love the quality of food delivered. Lamb Chettinad is full of flavour and is our favourite, tamarind rice is also what we order every time..

First time ordering from here, food was 2 mins late from the time stated. Driver was very apologetic. Food is delicious! Will order again if I’m not in a rush

I ordered and paid online for collection. When I turned up to collect I was told they had not seen the order as they had not checked the online orders. Then had to wait 20 mins for them to cook my order. When I got home I found I was missing part of the order and the 4 poppadums I had ordered were actually 3 scraps of burnt poppadums shown in picture. They did eventually send out the missing parts of the order with there delivery driver but by this time we were eating almost 2 hours after ordering! Will not be going back.

My order arrived an hour and a half late - and was wrong. The portion of lime pickle would have barely filled a tea spoon. I would rather cut off my own head with a rusty spoon than order from this restaurant again.

Just had an amazing meal from Rishi! The food is delicious, authentic and home cooked. They have lots of veggie options, which is particularly good for us. Would highly recommend.

Well the third time we ordered a takeaway last Saturday. The first time a year ago was great, the second time the wait was very long the third time over the weekend was awful. Placed the order online which was easy, after payment it confirmed the order and had a countdown for delivery of 40 minutes. Almost an hour later I had to call and chase the order up, was told driver will collect the order in 5 or 10 minutes, still had to call again to find out if coming, finally almost an hour and 20 minutes later it arrived. However, the wrong dosa, rice and a missing lassi was no the problem. So I called again to say I'm missing once lassi, they offered to send another but I refused and asked for the refund of the missing lassi as its too late to enjoy with the wrong food. He agreed to refund. 40 minutes later our doorbell went with someone holding the lassi. I didn't answer as that's way too late and they agreed the refund of it, to which I'm still waiting. Won't get I bet, but they won't get my custom ever again. AVOID. The food is tasty but the worst delivery experience and also when you order a dosa with onion and cheese it's for a reason to avoid another ingredients such as the option of dosa with cheese, onion and spinach, they delivered the latter and my friend dislikes spinach.

DO NOT EVER ORDER TAKEAWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE: I hate leaving bad reviews and we are so annoyed as we supported you as you were a local business. You have really let yourselves down. Just to let everyone know what you had done: 21:10 delivery time 21:30 told delivery should be with us in 10/15 minutes 22:00 cancelled the order (originally ordered the food at 20:00) We spoke to you on the phone stating this and you agreed. 22:15 a delivery driver turned up with the food (straight from your takeaway restaurant) which we then rejected as too long a time had passed. We told him we cancelled. The delivery had been sent out and our order marked as completed after we cancelled the order so that you could charge us. That is a dirty trick and you not care we were out of pocket because of your behaviour. You will accept money from Deliveroo from the order (as they state the delivery was completed) - you know this is wrong and unjust. We have complained about you to Deliveroo and you should not be on their books as you will dupe other residents into thinking you are ok. This is really dishonest. We will never order from you again and we will let all other residents in Thames Ditton know what you did. Forget this place there are so many decent honest places out there.

Embarrassed by the terrible quality of service. Restaurant is 4 minutes from my home and the order took almost 2 hours. Food was left for 20+ minutes so couldn’t be fresh in any sense. Strong recommendation to avoid.

Even though it was super tastey the paneer masala was tiny so my dish the small container was only half full. So my dish was mainly rice...

We have had a number of takeaways from Rishi Indian Flavours, lovely people and the menu is varied and sometimes a bit different from the usual Indian menus. They will deliver, or you can collect at a 10% discount or a free veg dish

Third time I have ordered from them. Every time they say 50 mins and it takes 90!!! Food is great you just have to wait for it

The food here is absolutely amazing. They have unusual dishes as well as your big standard stuff too, if you’re looking for something different. Vegetarian choices are vast as well. Big thumbs up :)

Easily the best Indian in the area hands down ! The food is interesting and not one sauce as the base for all of their curries which is how most do it. The biriani is exceptional as are all of thee vegetable dishes. Really fantastic. Delivery can sometimes take a while although I don’t mind as the food clearly takes time to cook. Wonderful

Huge fans of Rishi when we fancy a takeaway. Delicious food, unusual dishes & all fresh. The baby aubergine curry is incredible. As is the cabbage & coconut. And the spinach & mushroom. Bullet naan highly recommended too.

Turned up over an our late then the tub had been sitting side ways and most of the sauce had leaked out over the bag the lid was not on correctly....i wouldn't order again even if it was fir my dig!!!

Best curry in town. Food is prepared fresh and tastes homemade. Apart from the traditional curries, Rishi also have some of their own recipes which are great. We particularly loved their spinach cheese paratha and paneer butter masala. Lovely hardworking couple who take extra care in understanding your requirements.

We ordered from Rishi Indian flavours today , the portion was filling and the taste is beyond excellent. We ordered paneer butter masala and dhal makhni(one of the best dhal makhni I have ever tasted). We ordered bullet naan(excellent one , soft and was very fresh). Definitely ordering again.. highly recommend this place

Great food and authentic flavours. I ordered a veggie starter, dal (garlic and spinach as I wanted to try both) and paneer main course - all dishes were great. This is a family run joint - a lady took my order over the phone for collection - I was advised 40 mins time which although is on the higher side, I fully understand as Indian cuisine is complex (I cook at home so understand and appreciate it is time intensive). The food was worth the wait and flavours were great. For an veggie this place has a lot more options than ur usual Indian takeaway joint so do try. Highly recommend!!

Good curry , chips were soggy so not edible but very slow delivery time and told deliveroo had collected which was not true . Just be honest about delivery and timing! A shame because the curries that finally arrived were excellent

We just spent 30 minutes going through their menu on Deliveroo picking what we wanted, only for them to reject our order. We now get to go find somewhere else to order from. If you are going to show as open on Deliveroo then accept orders. Don't waste people's time picking from your menu only to then reject people's orders! Sign out of the blood app if you are too busy.

Love this restaurant. I have had takeaway from here twice now and it is delicious both times. I am vegetarian and they have so many more interesting and tasty options than normal Indian restaurants.

We found this Indian on our daily 'one walk a day' and thought we'd give it a go, and it didn't disappoint. There's loads on the menu to choose from - I'm a veggie so it's exciting to see so many different options. The food was delivered hot by Just Eat and it tasted amazing - my best curry in a long time :). I had the Paneer Masala with garlic naan. Highly reccomend.

Little bit late, but we’ll worth the wait!

We have tried so many Indian Restaurants over many years, but Rishi Indian Flavours fulfil all our expectations. Lamb and chicken always tender and juicy, melting with every bite. Vegetables perfectly cooked. Sauces are full of flavour and rich. Good portions size and food always arrives hot. For many evenings in a row we keep ordering different food in this restaurant and cannot be happier each time. Thank you so much for an amazing, tasty, authentic and chef specials meals!

We ordered from here two weeks ago and were very impressed at the lovely curries we ordered although preparation time was slow. We ordered again last night and every piece of chicken in my khorma was raw and inedible. I have photographs but there is no email address for them

Another outstanding meal, this is definitely our new go to Indian takeaway. Cannot recoomend these guys enough. The mutton roll is outstanding, haven't seen this anywhere before, even my wife's Dhansak which normally I don't like was amazing.
