Han Fu in Elmbridge

Ended up eating an unplanned dinner here and what a very pleasant surprise! Given that we were the only customers eating in, the service was faultless. The restaurant was extremely clean (I’d maybe give the toilets a bit of a refurb to fit with the rest of the venue but still clean and pleasant to use). The food was absolutely delicious. You could taste the freshness of all the ingredients. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again!

Extremely authentic Chinese cuisine. Believe me, it's completely different from your typical Chinese takeout. The staff is exceptionally friendly.

absolutely amazing. the servers were so so kind and there was one server who stood out to me. a young girl, the daughter of the owner, really connected with my young daughter, as they were around the same age. i thought she was a brilliant server, as she was continuing the family buiness in their honour. the owners were so kind and as a spanish originated person, i belived that it was truly beautiful to see a family buiness proudly showing their amazing culture and being so proud of it. other than the hospitality being of such high standards, i was extremely impressed with the gordon ramsey level food. it was just stunning. my personal favourite item was the fried banana fritters, which were just glorious to sink into. the crispy crunch on the outside paired beautifully with the soft, sweet banana on the inside. my son also enjoyed the crunchy texture of the prawn crackers. he doesnt usually like prawn crackers as he struggles with sensory issues (he is on the spectrum) but these ones enlightened his taste buds and he kept begging me for more. i was very happy to do so because the prices in this restaurant were just extrodinary for such quality. this restaurant made me feel welcomed and they cooked everything perfectly. my departure made me sad, as i was so distraught to have to leave this palace of wonders. i recommend 10 stars 🔥❤️

Lovely Chinese restaurant, we get delivered 'quite often', amazing value, kids love it, fast and always delicious. Kids love the chicken balls, I love the crispy shredded beef, I can't get enough of it. When we eat in, really good service.

Saw a couple of good reviews and as our usual Chinese has closed (The Regent) we are trying alternate Chinese restaurants/takeaways. The shredded chicken was dry and quite burnt, especially on one side. Felt like it had been reheated. The BBQ ribs sauce were so salty, unbelievably salty. Very chewy and not much meat. Char Sui pork was very nice though. Crispy chilled beef ok. Singapore noodles as expected, but a bit shy on meat and prawns. Sweet & sour chicken passable. Perhaps because it was a Sunday, but sorry, won’t be trying again… the search for a new Chinese continues!

Wasn't bad wasn't good just was ok the rice was aldente had a bite to it not to say that was a bad thing just preference. everything was just a bit dull , however the pork way very flavourful and yummy also the chicken sweetcorn soup was to sweet

First time we ordered Takeaways from Han Fu, and cannot recommend them enough. Quick delivery, delicious food at reasonable prices. Will definitely order takeaway again & plan to visit the restaurant too.

We ordered for collection for the first time tonight and are so pleased we've found our new take-away! Very good vegan dishes - probably the best vegetarian duck we've ever had. The sweet and sour tofu and aubergine with green pepper were both also really good. Very impressed and was ready in about 20 minutes. Really great value for money compared to any other take-out on the delivery apps.

We ordered a lot of food for visitors over for dinner - easy to order, so friendly, delivered 5 mins before the time stated on a busy Friday night, food fresh, hot and really really good! Portion sizes were huge - so the teenage boys were very happy!

Very authentic north eastern Chinese food. Extremely friendly family-run restaurant. Really enjoyed my meal here, will be coming back even though its a 30min drive away.

We did a takeaway and the chicken was extremely disappointing - dry, hard and the quality was terrible. When I called to complain, they were entirely unwilling to listen & instead claimed that it inevitably got hard. Poor customer service/staff & unappetising food

If you are looking for authentic Chinese food. This is the place. The staff and owner are the most welcoming. Food is as per the menu. Lots of choice and very reasonable prices for authentic Chinese food. Plenty of space inside. The food is delicious and highly recommended*****

Have ordered quite a bit over last 12 months but this evening's takeaway was disappointing as the meat and seafood content was very little. I might try somewhere else in future.

Have been impressed with food over last 2 years but tonight's delivery had an unusually low seafood and meat content. Is this something to do with food prices? Will probably give the Han Fu one more go to redeem itself, otherwise our custom goes elsewhere.

From the moment I started looking at the menu, and seeing lots of original and exciting dishes, I knew this evening was going to be good. The service was fantastic – prompt without being pushy and always with a smile. And each dish that came up was made with high-quality ingredients, appealing to the eye, and tasted sublime: possibly one of the best Chinese meals I’ve had in a long long time. I will be coming back as soon as possible.

Nice little restaurant tucked away in Thames Ditton. I think not many people of it which is a shame as its much better to eat in rather than get takeaway. Lots of locals go there and so adds to the friendly feel, you can easily end up chatting with the owner! Food's good though we always order the same thing, good to try more traditional dishes than just sweet and sour. Personally I like the decor too.

First time eating here for a while. Great local chinese restaurant. Mixed starters all really good. Mains were generous portions. Staff super friendly and drinks not over priced. For 4 people with 2 bottles of wine and additional drinks was under £200. Recommend this place

Ribs looked like had been dyed with food colouring.. chicken balls full of grease and tasteless.. rice was OK.. chow mein had pool of grease in bottom of container and chicken was black!! Very disappointing for the £25 + spent... would not recommend a takeaway. Eating in maybe a better experience??

We ordered a hot mix starter for the three of us at the weekend and we all were blown away by the quality. You can tell top ingredients have been used and the taste was fantastic. Collected it ourselves as we live around the corner and the staff were very apologetic for making us wait 5 minutes while they clearly finished freshly cooking it all. Will most definitely return to dine in sometime soon for a full meal as the interior looks recently upgraded to a fantastic finish. Brilliant.

Really enjoyable evening spent here. Food and service were both excellent. Salt and pepper ribs were a tasty starter and for mains we particularly enjoyed the pork with vegetables as we well as the fried aubergine. The bottle of merlot was very drinkable. Nice people too.

It’s a Thursday night, ordered the food at 2001hrs and the food did not arrive until 2132hrs. Did they fly the food in from China?

Fortunately we had over ordered so it was ok but we paid for a dish we didn’t get?? When I emailed to tell them they apologised and said we’d get a credit next time we ordered. We ordered last night (and picked an available time slot about an hour ahead) and it arrived 50 minutes late with no apology whatsoever, plus no credit. I gently tried to ask why it was so late and all I got was “£42 please”. Possibly a language barrier but surely you apologise when you’re that late?! Sadly we won’t order from here again.

The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious! I totally recommend as a reliable local tasty treat.

Cozy atmosphere, covid secure as they had plastic barriers between the tables. Lovely and friendly service. Great food at a reasonable price.

Han Fu is a fantastic place if you want to get a yummy Chinese. The owners are absolutely lovely too! My favourite are their pork dumplings. So tasty! :)

We ordered from this slick looking website and when calling to check on the delivery of order, as it was running 45 mins late, the phone was diverted and answered by The China Garden. We ordered a variety of starters and mains to share for four of us and it was such low quality food, a 100% disappointment. Don’t make the same mistake, what a waste of £65.

Waited 2 hours for delivery, every time we phoned they said it would be 15 minutes. They ended up delivering our food to the wrong address. When we phoned for a 3rd time to find out where our food was they explained the mistake. The lady on the phone was rude and disrespectful laughing at this mistake. No effect was put into amending the mistake and there was no customer service displayed. If I could give zero stars I would. Never ordering from here again!

Great local restaurant, frequently call on them for a takeaway which never disappoints- especially the beef chow mein. Recommend it!

Placed my order at 6.40pm Saturday night and was told it would be 45 mins to 1 hour, it still hadn't arrived by 8.20pm nearly 2 hours later. I rung back a couple of times and they didn't have a clue. Avoid.

What a lovely authentic northern Chinese restaurant! The staff are very attentive and smiley, the decor is amazing and the food is very delicious. As a Chinese person I have been to so many Chinese restaurant in London, Han Fu definitely is the top one on my list for northern Chinese food. Highly recommended!!

My girlfriend an I decided to get a takeaway from here to try somewhere different and we'll likely be returning. Sometimes after a Chinese take away you can feel bloated or even a bit sick, that was not the case with this one which tells you that it's well cooked and not greasy and without additives etc. The flavours were great and just tasted that bit better than the average Chinese takeaway in my opinion, and I am a self proclaimed Chinese takeaway connoisseur.

The quality of the food is really nice! Squid in chilly salt& pepper, crispy shredded chilly beef, peppery chicken are my favorite! Love the service and environment. Good!

This lovely little restaurant has rapidly become my favourite place to eat. TJ and her staff are the most welcoming people and happy to help providing you with explanations of the dishes they cook from her home town which are simply fantastic!

Great food with great service. The staff were very friendly and offered advice and information on what to order. Food came quickly and was of top quality. Surprisingly quiet inside, probably due to lots of to go orders/takeaways.

I visited The Real China in Bayswater, London and I will never go there again. The customer service was terrible, there was next to no food or desserts available and all the food was cold and runny (watery rice and chow mein). Additionally non of the food was tasty either. I also found two hairs in my food. It was so bad that I saw some customers leave without paying. The meal in total cost me £14. I really do not recommend this restaurant to anybody. Such a waste of money and a waste of space in your stomach. I am sure that place will close down soon. Just horrible.

1:45 hour to arrive and the food was awful!!

Ordered via hungry house. The crispy noodle beef smelled foul and tasted just as bad, couldn't stomach it. The lamb in oyster sauce lacked flavour and the sauce was very gelatinous. The spring rolls were fine. The pork dumplings were just bland and presented as processed. The restaurant refused a part refund request which meant I paid £22 for some rice and spring rolls.

Ordered a delivery over the weekend, food was great! Only problem was the time it took for the delivery. The driver was 40 minutes later than the estimated delivery time meaning an hour and 20 minute wait! I do recomend for the food but would imagine collection is the way to go.

Been using Real China for ten years, had one issue with delivery when I ordered online. Last night however ordered on phone, told would be an hour max, after waiting 1hr 45mins cancelled. Won't be using again

I have lived in Thames Ditton for 10 years and constantly try and support local business as much as I can. Every now and then I order from The Real China. Their front of house presentation and phone ordering process is excellent. Sorry to say the quality of the food is terrible.Classic examples: [1] Ordered dry ribs takeaway Foil container half full of red liquid and rubbery ribs - binned. They repeatedly apologise but don't change. [2] - Ordered Aromatic duck on try again bases. The quality of the cuts was so unacceptable (60% fat)I wondered what the chefs think when they cook. [3] Special fried rice - After many years of eating UK Chinese food, I concluded the choice cuts and veg included was disgraceful. I will add that they do cook a few good dishes. They are very good on seafood. My concern is that as seafood is riddled with difficulty, so I'm not sure 2016. In conclusion, I just don't understand why they remain near empty through the window every time I pass by, and can't fix their business. But this is just my personal experience over the years,.
