Adorable little pub on the edge of a common, lovey traditional feel. We were brought a small piece of bread and oil each as appetisers which were delicious - Rosemary flavoured - but we ordered nothing more complex than a couple of sandwiches for lunch and they took 40 minutes to arrive, after having to ask where they were after half an hour. Brie and tomato, lovely bread but the brie was stone cold and therefore tasteless, clearly served straight from the fridge, and the tomatoes unseasoned. Cheese must always be served at room temperature, I cannot understand how many chefs are so shoddy about this - it’s basic. Sorry to leave a rather negative review when so much about the pub is lovely!
Fantastic service, food and value for money. We went here at 18.45 on a Saturday, as we were visiting the area from Milton Keynes. We did not have a reservation however the team quickly showed us to a table. The team were very happy and polite and service was prompt. The food arrived in a timely manner, was piping hot and extremely tasty. We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful restaurant if you are in the area.
Absolutely fantastic cafe and my new "must go to" for the almond croissant and superb staff. Some cafes just make you feel welcome and it was so uplifting . We'd just walked through Bushy and thought we'd stroll over the bridge and get a coffee. We've both got issues with saliva glands so the almond paste or custard on the croissant was the best I've ever had in London. I was over in Victoria park the next day and sorry kids but you need to learn from Dish. Whatever their secret is it worked for us. We walked back over to Fulwell with a spring in our step. The sun was shining and the only regret was we hadn't carried more change to tip the staff. We paid by card when we ordered at the counter and it was only £12. I am useless at tipping when I order unless it's a bar and you can buy the staff a drink. I scratched around and found £2.50 but the service was so good and the price so low I'd have happily left the change off a £20. It really was that good and I'll make a point of catching a Hampton court train next time and walking to Fulwell after a stop here next time I come down. Thanks for lifting us up and making us so welcome.
Absolutely the best Thai.
We often have a takeaway from Hansa and are never disappointed. The food is tasty and authentic, soooo tasty.
We absolutely love the soups, basil chicken stir fry, and Thai green curry.
Stayed here Easter weekend as a base to visit Hampton Court Palace. Very nice place, friendly staff and a chilled atmosphere. Room was comfortable and the location perfect for our needs.
A great value stay that I will use again. Nice room, great food and a friendly service. If I had to pick a slight negative the Wifi in my room was not the greatest. I look forward to my next stay.
Excellent authentic Thai. Very tasty, great portions and good value. Service very good too. We were visiting Hampton Court and just popped in for dinner. It didn’t disappoint. As a lover of Thai food this hit the spot. Staff all very attentive.
I'm really surprised by some of the previous reviews but looking at the dates, they were some time ago. I went for lunch with a friend in July 2024 and was so impressed with the food and very friendly service, I returned with my husband for lunch. We really enjoyed it and would return again.
