Had a lovely lunch with my mum at Dish; never been here before but will certainly come again!

Great cafe, not ben before,a great find.

A charming cafe just off the strip of Hampton Court. Food is great, coffee immaculate and the girls serving are just the NICEST. They make me and my dog so welcome and I am forever grateful.

The food was far from any taste. We chose this place for breakfast, but the only good thing was the coffee. The tables were very close to each other, making it difficult to manage eating or drinking in the outside area of the café.

I went to Dish over the weekend and it was a lovely cafe with lovely coffee and great food. However, I was deeply disturbed by the way the chef was speaking to other staff, it was borderline abusive! I was shocked, as in my 54 years of living in the area, I have never experienced such obvious hostility catering establishment. I cannot imagine that this was the first time the chef spoke to his staff in this atrocious manner, with the way he was very comfortable doing so in front of customers. I can't bear to think how he talks to them in private!

Great spot to eat breakfast before a day of touring! We came here from the airport on arrival and had an English Breakfast before touring nearby Hampton Court Palace, then to Windsor Castle! Food was tasty, value was decent, and it's a nice spot to dine.

Wonderful establishment. The Vegan breakfast was delicious, healthy and reasonably priced. The coffee on point. Weather was great so excellent to be able to sit outside. Staff were friendly and professional. All round 5 stars.

Always good to be here, it jas been a while since i returned. It is very busy after 11am on a weekend but worth it. Good owner, dog friendly but not overtaken by dogs (i personally dislike dogs in cafés) but it doesn't impact me even though dogs are allowed in here. The table staff are good. I think they need two till points sometimes but it is fine the way it is for most of the time. There is a nice place at the back when it is warm enough so d9 go right to the back of the cafe it does work!

This is a place that truly cares about the customer and the quality of coffee they prepare. The coffee blend is extremely nice and even tastier as a latte. The barista kindly asked whether I wanted 1 or 2 pumps of syrup. My knees went weak, I've never been offered this choice, so this was a nice surprise. I also ordered 2 babyccinos and my gosh, the attention to detail. Usually I go somewhere and they heat warm milk, pour it in a cup and sprinkle a bit of powder on top. This place warms it, spoons the milky foam on top, adds marshmallows and sprinkles chocolate curls on top. It was pleasant to watch. I think this place is special, highly recommended and my coffee fix was definitely satisfied.

Very disappointing breakfast. I was overcharged for two avocado (£8.95 each eggs and two Americano coffees £3.20 each came to £29.50 instead of around £24.30!). When I questioned it, I was told it was 50p extra for sourdough, which still didn’t add up. The lady on the till continued to tell me it was correct.. there were people behind me and I felt pressure to accept her word. It still didn’t add up! To top it off, the eggs were so undercooked (whites were sloppy membrane) l couldn’t eat it. I told the waitress but nothing was either said or done. I wouldn’t go back, and I’ve been a few times now.

Been to quite a few eating places along Bridge Street and they are all pretty good. First time here and we were all happy with the food we chose, freshly cooked and tasty. Nice eclectic decor and big rear terrace. Will definitely be back.

Met a friend for coffee and cake on a Saturday morning, Great atmosphere, dog friendly, obviously popular with locals. Outdoor area for when it gets warmer looks lovely.

I've been a few times. Food is good, coffee has been good/ok. Maybe it was just the most recent day I visited but it appears to be a keen spot for cyclists so the front of the cafe is quite loud/busy. The garden area out back is actually pretty nice and has a calmer vibe.

It's a nice location so it's a shame the decor is ropey/tired - when you can look out of the front window onto the chimney's of Hampton Court it would be great to sit on something better than grimey, scuffed 90s cafe furniture and you would think given the location/passing trade (which is considerable at the weekends) they could afford to refresh things. I had eggs benedict for breakfast which wasn't good - packety tasting sauce, thick, salty, fatty, back bacon (unsmoked) that made it all feel a bit more like a bacon bap from a burger van, not a tenner's worth of 'deli' breakfast. It came with a weird, large pile of rocket with no dressing on the side. Coffee was fine. Staff were mixed - thoughtful till staff, grumpy unwelcoming manager keen to emphasise that they'd need to move me on quickly because Sunday mornings are busy. Wouldn't visit again.

We came here today for our cousin’s 16th birthday and all the staff were so so nice and gave us such a nice birthday experience. Would highly recommend!

Horrible lunch, unseasoned food, potatoe salad potatoes where raw- smoke filled room, badly behaved dogs everywhere. Won't be returning.

I had an excellent breakfast here after the Hampton Court 10k. The staff were really friendly and efficient and our good was delivered to the table in good time despite being completely full. It’s a very well run operation. There was a lot of smoked salmon with the scrambled eggs and I also enjoyed my vegetarian breakfast apart from the sausage which tasted most of stuffing and was limp. I would however recommend this place to future diners.

Lovely atmosphere with outdoor seating out the front and back. The decor is very charming, with bicycles and greenery hanging from the ceiling. The coffee was okay but just a little weak for a flat white.

Incredible carrot cake! Sat in the back garden on a sunny day and enjoyed the gourmet chicken salad. Highly recommend.

We had a first class lunch. The cost was reasonable and the service was quick. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Fabulous place in great location makes a perfect pit stop on a long walk. Lovely owner who treated my dog to red pepper chunks (was also offered sausage or chicken - for the dog!). Only complaint is that not all their dishes are featured on the menu. My fault for not reading the specials! Great for healthy smoothies. Loved it and will return. (Also like that they kept the social distancing table dividers in place.)

We popped in to this place last Sunday for a cream tea. I asked the assistant behind the counter if they sold cream teas? She looked confused but when I added scone, jam, cream, she nodded. When it arrived the jam and cream were standard buy ins nut the scone was awful. Certainly won't be going back here.

Very disappointing. I don’t normally leave bad reviews but the food I ordered was not up to the standard I’d have expected. Not even close. Perhaps their usual chef was off sick. I am actually concerned I might be too.

My friend & I took refuge at Dish while our partners visited Hampton Court Palace, just over the river. It was a fine, sunny Spring Sunday and the East Molesey café precinct was buzzing. The service hear was excellent, we managed to grab a little table under the awning outside and spent a relaxing time catching up, and watching the world go by.

Lovely setting and very friendly and efficient staff but the Full English let you down. Please stop pre-cooking sausages and bacon, both were hard and not enjoyable. I would rather wait to have things cooked fresh than not to enjoy when presented. Please start to follow some of your signage about caring about fresh, local products.

Went for breakfast on a bank holiday. Quite quiet but it was early maybe 8am. They happily serve their lunch menu in the morning. I had the Spanish omelette which was amazing and offers something different to the same old breakfast menu most places offer

Ordered scones with jam n cream. Not sure what type of scone…. Crumbled and was more like a roll Ordered a cheese sandwich for our 2 year old daughter. We are vegetarians. There was bits of ham in the cheese sandwich. Prob used same knife to cut meat and vegetarian sandwiches I’d guess? Disgusting… Safe to say we will never visit again.

I had to write a review as I saw the crazy ones below and feel the need to address this type of nonsense, as someone who has been going to Dish since it opened; first on my own and gradually with my children - it’s one of the only places I like to take all 3 boys as it’s such a welcoming and lovely place and the owner is so engaging with and understanding of small children. If you didn’t like the owner; it’s because you’re either rude or inconsiderate and he doesn’t put up with that sort of thing. Which I personally applaud - for some reason people think it’s ok to act poorly these days and everyone puts up with it for fear of reprisal (eg a negative tripadvisor review/disparaging social media comments). I love the fact that people in Dish behaving in a socially unacceptable way get short shrift! If you want a cafe where children can run around screaming, you can speak obnoxiously on your mobile or you can treat staff badly then this is not the place for you! (Looking at you below, Andrea!) Also it’s very clearly dog friendly; to the poster below who must have missed the very clear sign about dogs and children needing to behave. Food is amazing too 👌🏻

The owner is really rude and unwelcoming. Mada Deli, a few doors down is much more friendly and has a good vibe. I'm not going to reward such terrible customer service.

This is a really nice cafe, very handy for Hampton court and walks by the river. It often looks busy from the outside but don't be put off as there is lots of space inside including a really nice outdoor back garden area. Excellent food, with all the options apart from the full cooked breakfast available all day. You order at the till but then they bring everything over to a table including drinks (they give you a number) which is handy when dealing with kids.

Very annoyed to find while I was eating a couple came in with a large dog and sat at the table next to ours.Nowhere was there a sign to say it was a dog friendly place. I think it is totally unacceptable and unhygienic in a small narrow restaurant with food on the counter and being prepared just behind counter to allow dogs . Especially as there is outside seating.. Needless to say I will not be going there again

Treated myself to a Monday full English breakfast. Beautifully presented with top notch local ingredients. Indoor and outdoor seating. Not cheap but worth it and definitely not your usual breakfast cafe. Is popular so can be very busy, especially weekends. Parking can be tricky.

I live locally and use this cafe regularly, it is by far out favourite place in East molesey. Food is excellent, coffee always great and staff always welcoming. Dog friendly and seating outside. Would recommend.

The wonderful young women serving coffee and taking orders are lovely. The chef is very rude, speaking horribly to the staff members who on this occasion were young women. Not sure why a grown man would talk like that to them. When I asked about whether there was a possibility of having has browns or something similar I was met with the chef shouting across the kitchen that I can have whatever is on the menu. Shame he ruins what could be a very lovely little lunch spot

Asked for very crispy bacon on a French stick and they obviously didn't listen, it tasted horrible, won't be back.

Good food, good vibe. Cool surroundings. Bit expensive. The owner is grumpy old man. I guess they survived all this time as the passing trade is so good.

Called in here with friends on the way to the Hampton Court RHS event. Only had coffees. Service was a bit slow bit that did not unduly worry us as we were in no rush but could have been a bit niggly had we been....

Dish Cafe has remained open where possible throughout lockdown ... the girls have given amazing service no matter what the weather or the sometimes questionable attitude of the odd few customers... the staff are always welcoming and even when we have had to stand out...

This has been my regular early morning coffee place for the past 5 years. Great coffee every time with a personal customized service. Sets my day off on the right note every time.The breakfast and take away sandwiches are great; always fresh and tasty.Staff are up beat and very friendly, reliable with impeccable manners.

Nice food but service even more intense & macho than pre-Covid. Social distancing is not a thing here. If you like bantz in a bijou setting, it could be for you.

We LOVE Dish! We actually come so often, at least once a week on a Saturday morning. But sometimes the odd Sunday we treat ourselves too, as the food is just incredible! Our kids are sometimes loud (they are 3 and 22 months so it is to be expected) but we are never made to feel judged or an inconvenience, they are so welcoming and we just genuinely love everything about this place. You will not be disappointed! Best cafe along that road :) xxx

We only went for a coffee - and I was impressed with both the staff and the coffee. It was very busy but there was no pressure to vacate our seats - the waiter was charming even tho that was all we ordered. Also, they didn’t know but my friend was feeling v unwell and needed to sit down. I will definitely return because the food also looked amazing.

Pancakes for me are a real treat, thankfully. Otherwise I would be at Dish every week for their pancakes with bacon and maple syrup.I've tried pancakes at plenty of places, and would class Dish's as the best I've had outside of the States. The combination of light and fluffy with smoked bacon is delicious.Accompanied by fabulous service from the moment you enter the door. Dish is a must.

Great coffee and friendly service. Recommended for coffee and it has pavement , outside rear , and inside seating, ideal in these strange times coming out of lockdown....Great place to have coffee and watch the world walk by from/to Hampton Ct Palace!

Looks like all budget and attention has been spent on making this look hipster and the quality of the food has been forgotten. My over-priced sandwich was just dry. My friend had the special falafel wrap which was a let down ... the most exciting part was the side salad that came with it!! Much better options along this road.

I met the owner outside while reading the menu. He recommended the full English breakfast, and so I went in and tried it. I wasn’t disappointed! It was great and well presented. Quality food as well and well cooked. (I am an amateur chef and critique) so this place gets a thumbs up if you enjoy a big portion of good food.

If you like a lively atmosphere, great fresh coffee, deliciously prepared food and a good laugh, here's a really great place to visit. We went for breakfast and didn't leave till gone noon. Just don't goad the waiters into singing along with 'Rhinestone Cowboy' if you have a hangover!

Haven’t been here for a while and i was disappointed on this visit. Coffee okay - bacon sandwich dreadful - poor thick processed bread - bacon precooked and rubbery and a random tomato with pickle on the plate - shame

We are laughing in my house at the moment at the review before ours! I spend half my life at dish with my toddler and have done since he was a newborn (and throughout the pregnancy too because the food is INCREDIBLE). The staff are soooo friendly, the owner is amazing and they happily prepared finger foods for my son when he was baby led weaning (at a VERY reasonable price), because they are kind and flexible. A kids menu isn’t necessary because my son is obsessed with their delicious sausages and they serve food that children can eat - beans, potatoes, chicken, sausages, sandwiches, toast, fruit, vegetables. What the hell else do people want?!? I can only imagine that the review writer below was very rude and rubbed everyone up the wrong way, and let his children run around screaming! No restaurant wants children who can’t behave - and frankly it ruins it for all the other customers and I wish more people would say something. All I receive are compliments about my son, and received lots of support in the early days when I was exhausted and wanted coffee cake/somewhere to go out of the house and be able to breastfeed without feeling judged. This is genuinely the best place ever. AND they always give my dog sausages when he comes too. WE LOVE DISH ❤️

we visited for breakfast with two children (2.5 yrs and 1.5 yrs). There is no childrens menu and the owner was incredibly rude because we had children with us. saying 'dogs are better behaved than children whilst giving us a look of disgust!!' He clearly prefers animals and we will never return with or without children.it is also very expensive with apparently a £2 per dish hike since Christmas which is unjustified for the quality. It's a shame as the place looks nice. I would recommend the owner (who doesn't seem to actually do anything constructive to help during service), stays at home and counts his money while stroking his dogs! good luck to you!

Dish catered for us for 20 people for two days. Cigdem was absolutely fantastic and really helpful in catering to vegan and gluten free needs as well as providing an excellent selection of absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend!

Great brunch, reasonable price. We had the eggs royale which was bigger than we expected and really tasty ! Would certainly come back.

I went there for lunch with a friend. Food was great and at a much cheaper price than some of the other local places. The Cafe is clean and comfortable.

During our stay at East Molesey recently, we visited this cafe twice as dogs are most welcome into this establishment. They are always welcomed by being offered bits of sausages in a dish. The staff are very dogs friendly and it is enjoyable when the pet is being spoilt. The hot beverages are always appreciated and delicious. A large selection from the menu, also a fairly good selection of cakes. Plenty of seating. Outside tables with the view of the busy and bustling life. Garden seating at the back and of course seating within the cafe. Can be busy at times but the welcoming from the staff is certain no matter how busy the place may be. Very pleasant environment.

We visited on the bank holiday Monday and it was super busy, but the food arrived quickly and it was of a good standard. To improve, I think they might offer more cold drink options, such as ice chocolate...but overal a good experience.

Stopped off at Dish after walking in Bushy Park. Food was excellent. Staff friendly. We sat outside in the back terrace where the owner came to chat, bringing sausages and water for the dogs. A breath of freash air to find an owner passionate about his business. Music was good too. Clean and great decor

My husband and I and our two dogs visit Dish most days for a post walkies coffee. There are many reasons for this. The first is that our dogs who are very discerning wouldn't go anywhere else! They are welcomed with a sausage and a smile. The staff are lovely, always welcoming, especially the owner, his chef and all the lovely smiling girls and boys who work here. The coffee is excellent. We often meet friends here too for lunch or brunch. The food is really tasty and there is a comprehensive menu of delights. We have never been disappointed. There are gorgeous cakes and I particularly look forward to Saturday when they have the best Portuguese custard tarts outside Portugal. I heartily recommend Dish to anyone who fancies a relaxing atmosphere and great tasting food and drinks.

I am a regular customer at Dish and there really is something for everyone. It is always packed on weekends and it's easy to see why!

Imagine a 7 month pregnant young woman, exhausted after not sleeping well at night and going for a quick coffee and sandwich in the neighbourhood before starting a long day of work. This was me today. Ordered a gluten free panini, which comes with salad, but as I was not feeling well, decided to leave the salad. The owner of the establishment saw the salad on the side and approached me out of nowhere, despite me having my earphones on, and said I should eat the salad because it was healthy. He is right, but totally out of context and not respecting my solo private time by giving me unsolicited advise. I was told by others that saw this unexpected moment that he is a nice guy, just misses the point every now and then. Today he totally missed the point. If Dish was not one of the few places who sells gluten free sandwiches, I would not go back. Great food, lots of gluten free options, but now I’m questioning if a good place to just sit in and have a solo time eating whatever I’ve paid for.

If the weather is good, sit at there back yard space is very relaxing with comfortable breeze! I love breakfast no matter its morning or not, and they make really good Benedict! Will go back!
