This is a beautiful family pub great for the kids the atmosphere is lovely the food is very good and worth every penny. The staff are very pleasant can’t do enough for you would highly recommend

Went for a pint a couple of days ago. The ladies behind the bar were really nice and welcoming. The history and age of this place is so interesting - built in 1460 - it has many stories and it is said that Henry VIII frequented here too. We sat outside and enjoyed the openness and the weather. Didn’t try the food but the beer was good!

Lovely pub and very quirky and old inside which I love. Decent prices on food and drink as well.

Was looking for a pub for a meal (tired, hungry, thirsty) after spending the day at Hampton Court Flower Show. Popped in on the off chance and the staff were amazing. Found us a table even though we had mum in a wheelchair. Was obviously a locals pub with everyone enjoying the football but everyone staff and customers were so friendly and helpful (even all the gents helping mum to the ladies by taking her arm and helping her through while they were trying to watch the football). Well done to everyone we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We had my mum’s 60th birthday meal with a big family group and everything went perfectly. The outside area was lovely and we were all able to sit under a nice terrace area with heaters. We were allowed to decorate the area too! The kids loved the play area and it kept them entertained all evening. The food and drinks were great! The manager Emily went above and beyond to help us all. We would definitely recommend this wonderful pub!

Outstanding football viewing set up. They have a lovely new screen in the garden which is of brilliant quality even in the sun. Sound was also good and plenty of available seats. Pretty good app to order food and drinks so you don't even need to leave your seat. Staff as always attentive and hard working.

So pleased to have booked at The Bell to watch the football last night. Large clean garden with a high quality outdoor TV that could be seen from all angles. Sound was really clear too!! Although the game was a little disappointing the atmosphere and the staff at the Bell were not. All had a friendly smile whilst working a busy hot evening. Booked for the next match!

The bell is a fantastic pub with a fantastic garden too. Loads of space and seating with a huge screen outside to watch the football with a great atmosphere for both family and friends. Me and a few friends had food and then watched the England game. Both the food and service were excellent with all of us thoroughly enjoying our meals. Will definitely be returning soon.

We came across this lovely pub by chance as we had visited Hampton court palace. Our husbands wanted to watch the football and we sat in the garden as it was a lovely afternoon. We then stayed and had dinner which was really good and very reasonable, the roast turkey Sunday lunch was excellent along with gammon, pies and lamb shank we all enjoyed our meals, thank very much, the staff were also great.

I've been visiting this pub on and off for years and it truly goes from strength to strength. The General Manager and her team have dealt with all the stresses through Covid like champions. We are happy to see the pub is still thriving and will be around for many more years to come. Looking forward to sampling some new dishes when their menu changes next month and we can't wait for the quiz night to return. Still years later is as good as ever!

Previously gave a very low rating as the standards had dropped dramatically. Visited Tuesday evening and can see some massive improvements. Well done to the team, will definitely be back again soon.

Fantastic pub as a local should be! Have had previous issues when the landlady was off but it's truly back to where it should be. Clean, great service, tasty food and outstanding selection of well kept cask ale. Keep it up team!

A fantastic little gem of a pub. An extensive range of food and drink to cater to all ages. Very clearly family and animal friendly which is an added bonus. Definitely the best pub around for miles. Look forward to returning soon.

I have been living in Molesey since 2017 and have visited the Bell frequently. I drink ale and I have never, ever, had an average pint here. I’ve certainly never had a bad one. The beer is exceptionally well kept. The other consistency that this pub offers is a warm welcome: the staff are excellent, and one can always expect superb service and friendly chatter from Emily and her team. Life in this community would be much poorer without the Bell. Long may it continue to be just wonderful!

"V" and the team made everyone who attended my function in the covered and heated shelter in the garden feel welcome and at home. We ordered some main meals and shared dishes, all of which were delicious. Thank you for making my special evening go so smoothly in such pleasant surroundings.

Terrible. It used to be a lovely old pub. Now it's tacky, shabby with no chic. Saw plates with food left, so doubt food is any good scampi in the basket pub...yugh avoid.

Had a booking for mother's day at 6.30pm. They had run out of roast dinners, pie an only had 1 portion of fish and chips left! Also there would be 45 minutes wait for what food they had left. I understand its a busy day but left disappointed and I'm afraid won't be going back.

What an amazing lunch we had! Tasty focaccia sandwiches and variety of wraps, accompanied with fries and nice drink. I had salami focaccia, my friend had bbq chicken tortilla wrap. The bell’s lunch club deal is absolutely fantastic! Very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere!

Every now and again you will walk into a pub that hasn't been your favourite, but today I was so surprised by the quality of the Ale on offer. Shout out to the celler keeper, fantastic.

We visited The bell for the second time. Last time was about two years ago in the summer. My current visit was a very good experience unlike the previous one. Friendly staff and good service, wonderfully tasty and well prepared food. I am fascinated by the beef rib bourguignon, my partner to the very hot chicken pie. I recommend you to visit this place!

We had a lovely afternoon tea at The Bell today; a new addition to their menu I believe. It was a classic afternoon tea, and we enjoyed munching our way through plenty of sandwiches, scones & jam/cream, cakes, and of course tea. It was everything you'd expect for this quintessentially British dish, served by the friendly and helpful Tom who made us all feel very welcome. A superb way to finish up a long walk around Molesey Heath with a group of friends and their dogs.

Perfect Sunday roast! Well cooked vegetables, crispy roast potatoes and to finish with homemade gravy and Yorkshire pudding. Hot plates! I'll definitely treat my mom to a nice lunch here for Mother's Day ! Food is always served on time and we were in love with each starter !

My fiance and I stopped in for a quick valentine’s lunch and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service and especially the beautifully cooked food. We tried dishes from the winter special menu and we were amazed by the delicious dessert. We shared a Giant bourbon. We will definitely be back again!

Fantastic food experience at The Bell! What a nice discovery to find such delicious and well presented food. We went for a lunch with friends, I had fish cakes with poached egg and hollandaise sauce. The ambient is cozy and the staff is friendly. Definitely coming back to try more of this tasty food!

Me and my boyfriend went to this pub for a special occasion and it was *chef's kiss* perfection! We were blown away by the quality of the food and the presentations. Will definitely be coming back for more goodies. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place with a great atmoshpere, nice drink and some delicious food!

Went to the Bell for lunch with the family and had a very lovely welcome and tasty food. We’ve been a few times and are always happy with our visit. We were greeted by two young ladies, who were very welcoming, I believe their names were Shannon and Ashleigh. Our food was brought out by a very cheery young man called Finn in good time and was delicious! I definitely recommend the lamb shank. Will be continuing our visits!

This pub never fails to impress me, I visited 4 times over January with family and friends, seeing a pub so busy in January can only mean one thing The staff are all so friendly and really care about their jobs and the level of service they provide to all guests - if you are looking for reasonably priced food & or drink and a friendly atmosphere this is the place to go

Haven't been out for a while as not a fan of the hustle and bustle in December. Glad to see the Bell is as good as ever. So nice to see a pub still busy in January and delivering exceptional service. Definitely won't be leaving it so long to visit again.

Yet another great Christmas at the Bell, Emily and her team pulled out all stops to serve up a wonderful 4 course Christmas dinner. The portions were more than ample well presented and cooked, the cost was excellent value for money. Thank you Emily and I hope you and your staff enjoy the rest of the day. Stopped by for dinner after touring Hampton Court Palace. We loved it. Waitress, Leah, I think was her name, was absolutely wonderful. Food was really good, atmosphere charming. Highly recommend! Cute, quite neighborhood.

Came for psychic night brilliant 4 out of our group of 6 went for reading with paula vgori ,well I went as a non believer the evedance she gave me and the others was so spot on ,I now believe and it has helped me with my deep grief of the loss of my loved ones ,can recomend her as a true medium

Went on recommendation of a friend and was slightly disappointed. My wife had Lamb Shank which was excellent. I had Roast beef which was not very tender and the vegetables were not appetising nor tender. Gravy and Yorkshire pudding very good. Reasonable price and good service. If we go again it will be for the Lamb Shank

My first visit there. Went there for a drink and listening to live music. Friendly and lively atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. The pub had a long history. Wonderful building.

We had a family lunch under cover in the garden. The weather was bad, but the food was amazing and delivered hot with a smile during the deluge!

Just went to see Paula Vgori for a reading. I would like to say some thing positive but I can not. Please do not waste your money

Met a group of friends for dinner, was pleasantly surprised to be offered table service. Have been really happy with the service here on previous occasions but this is a lovely addition giving us extra time to chat and drink wine. Best local pub!

Gone downhill since I last visited several years ago. The garden particularly was too crammed with tables. Not attractive at all. The inside didn't seem so nice either

Booked a table for four for Sunday lunch. Unfortunately slight misunderstanding with food order and only 3 meals came out instead of 4. When my meal did come out which was only a couple of minutes later unfortunately my roast potatoes and vegetables were very hard plus the meat was awful so I only ate a quarter of my dinner, the only reason I didn't return the food is because the staff came over and offered us free deserts because they got our food order wrong so I felt guilty. The desserts and coffee were amazing. The 5 stars are for outstanding Customer service. I would definitely visit this pub again but would have the salmon which my husband had and he said was delicious, don't think I would have the roast dinner again.

I really liked this pub. Friendly management, great beers and cider (Aspalls) and a proper pub atmosphere. They’ve got everything a good pub needs - locals, two bars, food and a dart board. I don’t live locally but I’d love to come back - and soon.

We visited for Sunday lunch as a group of five. The food was tasty and well presented but one of the group had a problem with their meal. The staff response was excellent - the food was quickly replaced, a couple of further checks were made to be sure we were happy and a complimentary dessert was also offered. Really excellent customer service.

After our initial first visit where we scored low, we have now experienced a very nice evening at this wonderful local and historic pub. Emily and her team looked after us very well and special thanks to our waiter, Finn who was fantastic! As always the food was fabulous and generous potions - compliments to the chef. A good choice of beer and wine. Highly recommended. We will be back !

I cannot believe how busy it was when we visited this Sunday and the team still managed to have smiles on their faces! Food was excellent always and the best kept pint of Greene King IPA around at a very reasonable price. Keep it up. Fantastic management supported by fantastic staff!

This fantastic pub is a great place for families to enjoy a few drinks and a good meal. When we visited it was a warm sunny afternoon and the large beer garden was busy. Regardless, the team at The Bell were absolutely excellent, and our food arrived very quickly and was delicious. Really couldn’t fault the service. Very professional. They also have a great children’s menu which is so helpful with picky kids to feed. Thanks for a brilliant time and definitely be seeing you again soon!

The Bell hosted my mums 80th birthday lunch on Saturday 25th March 2023. I would like to thank all of the staff on the day who made the birthday celebrations go so smoothly. The food was great and the service second to none. The staff were attentive, polite and very kind- nothing was too much effort. It made the whole afternoon so easy. The manager was completely on top of everything. I would sincerely like to say thank you- for everything you all did- front of house and in the kitchens- it was very much appreciated.

I love the Bell, East Molesey. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The management is on point, and although it seems to be a locals place to drink, the ethos of the place ensures that every single person who visits is made to feel welcome, without compromising a good old fashioned English pub atmosphere. The food is hearty and reasonably priced and the staff are always accommodating and efficient, they will go above and beyond if needs be. I wish my dad, who was a proper pub man, could pay a visit.

I love visiting the Bell, East Molesey. It is managed in a way that ensures staff know how to treat their customers. Warm, welcoming, reasonable - I tell all my friends!

Last time I was here I was so appalled at how one bar staff member spoke to a fellow colleague who was clearly quite new that I turned around and walked straight out. I have been here numerous times since moving in to the area and each time there is a long wait with barely anyone serving....the place is clearly understaffed, and if the example I saw the last time I was in there is fairly typical of the culture of this place then it's not hard to see why. Building is lovely and old although the tiles behind the bar don't go at all....makes it look like a public toilet which is a shame as it deserves better than that. The toilets were also not clean. Kids and dogs running around everywhere with bar staff juggling trays and glasses....I would not eat here as I saw a member of staff handle money, blow her nose and then hand a customer a plate! no hand washing in between....I had time to observe as the queue was so long. Overall very chaotic with not a very nice atmosphere and a lack of basic hygiene.
