Minnow Weybridge in Elmbridge

The place is beautiful but my meal was very mediocre - my chicken was stone cold and had to be sent back and l found it difficult to find someone to speak to. I also had to ask if my side order of green vegetables could be kept warm. No one apologised or seemed to care less. This is my second visit to the restaurant but even with a 40% discount voucher it is very poor value for the quality.

Stumbled across the Minnow accidentally, but what a gem it turned out to be! Will was excellent and I highly recommend coming here for either a quiet drink or a meal with friends.

The cuisine was unreal and this was paralleled by an excellent service which was extremely swift coupled with delicious food which was brought to us with a smile by Tristan the superstar.

What a hidden gem, upon my daily stroll along the river I found myself feeling rather peckish and decided to embark on the minnow adventure! I treated myself to a tall glass of Malbec with my Ribeye which was fantastic and Tristan was a delightful young chap.

Went with friends for a mid morning coffee. Coffee was great and was served with a delicious little cake. The service was friendly and attentive. The food being served to other customers looked very appetising and the atmosphere was very inviting.

Posting for my partner Michael. Our overall experience was not good especially as this was a birthday treat for friend. Our mains chips were actually very overcooked wedges not chips, tepid minted mushy peas no sign of mint, not mushy were tepid and lots of hard lumps. Starters was lovely once we got the right order.

I had a lovely dining experience with my husband as we were celebrating our anniversary, the food was excellent and we had a very diligent young lad named Tristan who was extremely attentive and persistent on making sure we had a great evening.

My daughter and I chose comfortable seating with cushions. The marvellous meals were first class and great attention was received from the staff. We have decided it is our favourite restaurant and we are planning to book our next birthday celebration at The Minnow with our family.

I came in the other day for a bite to eat and a couple drinks and Molly served me and she was so lovely, gave me good recommendations and just in general really chatty and friendly.

First time visiting yesterday evening and the staff were great. Molly was superb - always polite and very friendly. Very deserving of a raise.

Delightful spacious outdoor setting with parasols as needed (& today they were), attentive service & good food. We chose the reasonably priced 2 course set menu. Thanks to Mike for his warm welcome, Blessing who brought everything promptly & carefully & the whole team for a lovely lunch which we greatly enjoyed.

Oliver was our waiter he was amazing. Recommend you sit outside if it's a beautiful Day or evening.

Came down Sunday afternoon had a good time with me and my girls great atmosphere with the DJ playing all the cool tunes had amazing service from a girl behind the bar called Sarah she was brilliant recommended a really nice rose for us she had a great team behind the bar with all the girls supporting her it's hard work on a really hot day but they smashed it

Amazing staff. Only came in to pester them for a phone charger and they were so lovely. Offered a glass of water whilst I waited. Mike, Pauline and Darrien were amazing.

Great quality food. We had the very tasty pork belly with super crispy crackling and the delicious lamb rump. Both came with very flavourful sauces which we enjoyed with some fries on the side. Great service too. We would definitely come back! Thank you!

Visited The Minnow 21st July and had a lovely lunch in the garden. Ollie the waiter was very friendly and attentive and we certainly will be back.

I was at The Minnow today for Sunday lunch with a friend we both just had a main course, the food was great. Service was good too we didn’t get the name of the waiter who bought us our food but he was very courteous. And thank you to Ollie who was really helpful and organised our coffees!

We had a lovely time at the Minnow. The atmosphere was lively. We went on a sunny day and sat outside for drinks, which was really nice. The interior is cozy, featuring traditional decor with a modern twist. The only disappointing aspect was the food. I ordered the lasagne, which was the chef’s special dish, but it was very disappointing. It had too much tomato and almost no cheese. I was really looking forward to it but was very disheartened afterwards. On the plus side, the pub offers free parking, which is very convenient.

Went there with kids after a leisure walk at 5pm, ordered drinks, pizza and a fish and chips. Waited for 45 mins no food arrived, checked with a waiter he said the food order didn't go through no idea why... had to wait another 20 minutes. Finally food arrived after 70 mins.

Great place. Perfect for indoor and outdoor. Our waiter, Blessing was very personable and attentive. Allowed us time to enjoy our time while being consistent with service. Food was lovely and finally the chocolate orange martini was a 10/10 👌🏽

So very disappointed! Had booked a table for 6 outside for the whispering angel event. Arrived and got told we had an inside table yet we had requested an outside table. We were put on a table not suitable for 6 and we could not access all seats due to other tables close by. Asked several times regarding what was included in the event, ignored and said they wound return which they didn't. Left after an hour of being ignored. Will not be returning, very disappointed.

Mike greeted us warmly today although we only had a coffee after our dog walk. Very doggie friendly. Enjoyed a fab Sunday lunch recently - beef tasty and tender and good selection of veg well presented. Helpful, friendly service Would definitely recommend.
