This is now our go to Chinese takeaway. The food is consistently cooked well. Tasty and hot on collection. It is now only a takeaway after formerly being a restaurant. The prices are good and they do a special menu which you can pick 2 mains and an egg fried rice for £12. Would recommend if you fancy a very good takeaway.
The restaurant was nicely decorated. The staff were lovely and very helpful and most importantly the food was amazing. I had the fish and chips and was cooked perfectly. I would certainly return.

Not great. Chow Mein had no flavour and the Chicken in the Kung Po chicken was very poor quality. The whole thing reminded me of being home cooked and not cooked by professionals. Shame really.
Got hung up on because I called them at 20:45 and asked them if they was open and they said no when they are supposed to close at 21:30pm on a Thursday. When I told them it says 21:30pm online he says well who’s going to clean up for us? You are supposed to clean up after closing time not 45 minutes before just so you can go home early
Truly bloody awful. Have to order via a stupid app that doesn’t work. Place was filthy and the food was no better. I would avoid this place like the be plague

Dear Subway Team,
I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the disgraceful service I received at your Lakeside branch on the 9th of April.
While in line with my wife, I placed my order and, upon reaching the toppings section, I politely inquired about the available extras and their associated costs. Instead of being met with the courtesy and assistance any customer should expect—especially a customer with a disability—I was bluntly told to "look at the board on the wall." I calmly explained that I am visually impaired and fully blind in one eye, and as such, I am unable to read any signage on the wall. I respectfully asked for help understanding the options.
To my utter dismay, the staff responded not with understanding or assistance, but with laughter and giggles among themselves. They completely disregarded my explanation and made no effort whatsoever to accommodate my needs. Not only was I denied basic assistance, but I was also met with blatant disrespect and a dismissive attitude. The staff continued the transaction hurriedly, eager to move on without a moment of genuine care or professionalism.
I left the store feeling humiliated, disrespected, and extremely let down by a brand I previously respected. The fact that my disability is not immediately visible should not justify such shameful treatment. I made every effort to communicate my needs respectfully, and your staff chose mockery and indifference over basic human decency.
This experience was not only upsetting—it was completely unacceptable. I will not be returning to that store, and I am now seriously reconsidering whether I will ever visit any Subway branch again.
I demand that this matter be thoroughly investigated and addressed. I also expect a formal apology and to be informed of the steps Subway will take to ensure this kind of discriminatory behavior is not tolerated in any of your stores and to all those who suffer from a disability that is not visible
At the lunch break decided to have something quick, so pop in to the Favourite Tilbury. The guy was mopping the floor, no greeting no moody. The fries were mixed with hot and cold, the chicken was over cooked and greasy. Have to throw it in the bin. Waste of time and money.
