Nando's in Thurrock

We were served by Dan we have an allergy in our party and Dan was amazing knew the menu inside out made really good suggestions he was friendly professional and knowledgeable and we would definitely return

I went yesterday 30/3/24 , never been to this Nando’s before . There was a que which puts me off as I’m quite impatient when hungry . But the que went down really quickly which pleased me . I found the restaurant quite compact but where I was seated was abit room to move around. I wasn’t too happy with the online ordering system ( I’m old school ) but the food did get delivered to the table quite quick along with the drinks . Staff was polite and only came over to check if everything was ok which it was . The food was enjoyable and just the right portion for me . I will return when I’m back at Lakeside and I would recommend.

Great customer service from start to finish and from all members of staff that we came into contact with. Food was great and I was really impressed. The lad welcoming us (permed hair) was really nice and made everyone feel welcome. This branch should show others how to do customer service. Will be back!

It was really busy had to queue for table but waiter said 20 mins so decided to take away and eat on tables outside on food court. By the time I was served people in front of me had been seated and another queue. I said to manager if I'd know it was going to be quick I would have eaten in restaurant as had a baby and teenager with me. He said no problem would you like a table now and found us a lovely one suitable for pram. Robbie his name the manager I think. Couldn't do enough for us attentive and helpful fast service with the food took deserves a mention. The staff arr always so happy and courteous there don't know how they do it with some of their clientele and so busy all the time!

We visited the restaurant on the 17th October for my daughter’s 15th birthday. Amazing food and excellent customer service by Breanna who was so kind to offer us starters due a 35 min wait for our chicken to get cooked. She made my family feel very valued and my daughter was very happy she chose the restating for her celebration dinner.

The food was really nice but we had to ask three times after a certain item wasn’t delivered, the girl didn’t seem interested and the manager for that matter we did get a refund on the item but would have liked it with the meal not at the end ,

We Came here for dinner tonight and had to wait 35 minutes to be sat. Once sat we waited 45 minutes with no food. When asked the waiter told us our order was next and won’t be long. The table next to us then got their food so we obviously was not the next order!! 10 minutes later still no food and was informed our order had been messed up. So this was 55 minutes and no food which is absolutely awful !! The wait resulted in us missing the beginning of our film in the cinema which was pre booked. I will not be returning as this Service is unacceptable. An apology was not given once it is simply both unacceptable and unprofessional and leaves a bad taste in our mouth about Nando’s as a whole. If you are in a rush do not use this Nando’s it has happened to me and my partner on several occasions!

You can purchase gift cards as presents but you can't currently use them on online delivery or collection services even though you could before. This is a backward step, can you imagine Amazon not taking gift cards, and something that needs to be resolved ASAP as with more people working from home delivery and collection is more likely than eating in. It's a shame as the food is as good as ever so sort this out

We went in and were asked to wait for 20 minutes and when we were accessed in , we place we the order . 30 minutes after we were told that there will be a delay of 20 minutes . Considering the time we waited already we carried on waiting patiently . The food came 27 minutes after . So we are now waiting because we were told someone will bring the plates ( we needed 6 ) . We sat there for a food 10 minutes and seething the waiter who initially served us walking around and serving food to others .my son went to ask and they told us it will be here soon .I waited the next 10 minutes and lost my patience and went to the person at the till . He apologised and brought the plates straight away . Mood off for a dining experience . I would not recommend this place . Training is a massive issue and customer service is a luxury there .

Seated quickly tables needed a good wipe had to ask staff ? Food ordered and arrived quickly had no issues with the food. The worse thing was state of the toilets really dirty not sure if cleaned during the day very off putting and unhygenic.

Visited here with family, first of all the staff were not very informative -The table was sticky -After getting given glasses they were dirty, with bits of food or something stuck to them (gross) got give another glass and the same thing, filthy - cutlery gross not polished just covered in bits of something honestly was disgusting. will not be eating here any time soon or recommending

Rude staff and blunt and unhelpful. However more pleasant (slightly) that their other outlet we just left !! None the less, didn’t eat here either due to excessive wait time and no where to wait. We visited at lunchtime and were given a table within about 10 minutes of waiting. We sat outside but undercover. We ordered from our table using the QR code. Our drinks glasses came out pretty quickly, and we had a wait of about 35 minutes for our food. The food was good, I really liked the new garlic barbecue sauce.

We had a chicken in pitta .and chicken in burger.coleslaw .broccli .rice. Diet coke. We couldnt do app on phone .so a server took.our order.very pleasent and helpful.was given.our drinks .food was good but portions are getting smaller and smaller. The menu has been made smaller no salads anymore .bit ltd to what you can choose.but we all.enjoyed the food.

We asked for a hot drink with our meal and were told in a sullen and rude manner no hot drinks. They put a bottle of ketchup on our table with half an inch of sauce in it so we asked for more only to be told not until that ones finished and the waitress walked away. We chose bottled water and the glass was filthy, asked for a clean one, no apology, we were made to feel a nuisance for bringing it up. We will never go to a nandos again.

My wife and I just called in to this restaurant when we had finished shopping at lakeside.I asked a member of staff if we had to book" he said I can get you in now" if you like, i said yes ok he said we had to put a app on our phone to order our food, I replied we do not have a phone.the member of staff then stated, do not worry i will get one of the waitresses to take your order's.So in we went and was shown our table. A very nice young lady came and introduced herself to us , and went through the menu with us. We ordered a meal to share with side orders and a couple of drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal which was really nice. All the staff were attentive and very polite and friendly to all the diners which my wife and I thought was really pleasent. I must say there was a few people who thought they were above everyone else.You know the sort loud and obnoxious, look at me type,s big mouths no money.but the staff were so good they soon shot them down in flames,without being rude or loud. which i thought was great. to sum our visit to nando's Lakeside up My wife and i thought the staff were above EXELENT and the food was above EXCELENT. Next time we go to lakeside we will definitely visit Nando's again, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR A GREAT DAY OUT

We stopped off at Nandos yesterday for lunch as we were out shopping. What a mistake that was. We waited an hour for our food for it to be cold, yes the mash we had was freezing cold. When we got our food we had no knives or forks, when we asked for this the manager called Dan ( who was the most rudest, snarky & a awful image of a manager ) he sniggered at us and said why do we need knives and forks so urgently whilst sniggering as if it was a joke that we were asking for cutlery to eat our food.. We eventually got our knives and forks which was chucked on our table we didn’t eat our food as it was freezing and they said the wait for food was 20 mins. I do not recommend going here unless you want rude customer service and awful food.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. They seemed like a great team and worked well together. Food was delicious and served hot and fresh. Sauce bottles were clean and cutlery was replenished often. Handwashing sink was broken as was one of the soft drink dispensers....

Ordered a fino pitta and was served a veggie one when I had ordered chicken. This was promptly changed by Diaa whose service was excellent!! First class service from this guy well done Nando’s for employing someone who does their job extremely well!

Visited Nandos on the upper floor of Intu Lakeside within the food hall just after xmas 2018. Expected to queue for some time to get seated but very well organised whereby a member of staff would walk the queue ask how many people to be seated and give you a rough waiting time. We were informed 25 mins but were seated within 15 mins.We were seated in a booth and once we ordered our food it was ready within approx 15mins. Food was warm, of good fast food quality and of a reasonable price.Would recommend.

Went here after shopping, and it was very average nandos. The person on the till was average the service wasn't great but wasn't bad. Nandos was very small so could of done with being a bit bigger but i know there was two there so maybe why it was rather small. Dont really recommend nor recommend it.

We always have a good meal at the Nando's in Lakeside. Good food and nice staff. Very clean and always busy which is a good sign.

Tuve una experiencia muy agradable con un par de amigos. Teníamos un servidor llamado Niamh, ella era amable y sonriente y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. Ella en seguida vieron a nosotros y nos mostró a nuestra mesa. Tuve la mitad de pollo con arroz y patatas fritas y una bebida sin fin. La comida era buena y llegaron a un tiempo razonable después de pedir, y no había problemas con ser lo suficientemente cálida. Todo el personal con el que me encontré era muy amable y acogedor. Sin duda volveré :)

Decidimos venir aquí con mi madre y niño. El caballero que nos enseñó una mesa fue muy amable, y era genial con mi niño. Me dieron una trona de inmediato y una hoja para colorear y lápices.Pedimos la comida y el caballero que tomó el pedido dijo que pediría a la señora para hacer el café, como ella es la mejor. . . . . Él no estaba equivocado. Fue el mejor café que he tenido en mucho tiempo!La comida estaba caliente, el lugar estaba limpio y el personal es estupendo para los niños. Volveremos de nuevo.

I told the young man serving me I had a nut allergy, they were 100% on top of it, from informing the manager to letting all the chefs know about the order. Will definitely be coming back, very allergy friendly restaurant!

Muy, muy ajetreado restaurante, no es sorprendente en vista de la ubicación y la excelente calidad de la comida y el servicio. Mejor evitar las horas punta, cuando probablemente tenga que esperar para una mesa, pero estar afuera a menudo disponible y utilizable si el clima es adecuado. Usado muchas veces y nunca me ha decepcionado.

Nando's es una buena comida en relación calidad-precio. La comida es muy sabrosa para una gran cadena alimentaria. Las tuercas están bien para empezar, especialmente con una cerveza fría! La comida estaba bien preparada y los guisantes son geniales. Puedo recomendar este cuando más las tiendas más grandes en lakeside.

Shopping took longer than planned! So decided to stop for a quick bite. One child only likes plain chicken which was no problem. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quick service. Unlimited refills on soft drinks is good value. 20% discount as NHS staff even better.

Esta Nando es muy concurrido, así que no trata de conseguir la pista de comida antes de que se convierta en hambre (es una broma). El personal siempre dispuesto a ayudar y el servicio es estupendo, el lugar es limpio y la comida es como lo que puedes conseguir en cualquier otro Nando's.

Éramos un grupo de 6 personas, y 2 de nosotros tuvimos que esperar más tiempo que las demás para nuestra comida. El pollo estaba hecha, pero tenía refrescaba un poco por el momento llegó a nuestra mesa, y no había una disculpa por la espera. No es la mejor visita a unas son extraordinarias, pero he tenido peor.

Popped in for dinner this evening. Service very good but food was very average for the price plus chips were just warm when they arrived and coke tasted flat.

Personally even the 'non spicy flavour' is still too hot for me but the rest of my family loves it. This time waiter forgot half the order and I had to chase him up. Staff were friendly and polite.

Forever in a Nandos. But this one on the boardwalk is fantastic, staff that came and cleared the tables is a credit to Nandos as couldn't do more to help.

we have been three times now to this Nandos since opening and have not experienced any issues.I think as it is slightly smaller they do tend to take slightly longer serving but we are not ever in a rush to be honest. Lovely friendly staff in comparison to the Lakeside Retail Park one

You can't really go wrong withNandos. U kinda know what your'e gonna get and that's it. Foods ok for a quick bite on route somewhere.
