Subway in Thurrock

I’m very upset as I went here on Saturday 28th of September 2024 and ordered a six inch sub with chicken lettuce mayo cucumber bell peppers and sweetcorn and that same night threw up and the next day I had sickness and diarrhoea which is a shame as this is my only local subway I’m very disappointed as it was my weekend takeaway and costed £6.25 just for some stomach bug 0/10 wouldn’t recommend to anyone

wrong bread, no drink, no crisps, freezing cold. the one drink we did get was put on top of the sandwiches making them soggy

Rarely write reviews but this app is one of the worst apps I've had the misfortune to use, incredibly sluggish to use and login rarely works. AVOID. Edit to add - Walked out your Grays branch without ordering as the app was useless and the branch are not participating in the deals on the app.

Me and my 2 friends got food poisoning from here.Don’t recommend it to anyone

I ordered steak and cheese and someone changed my order to chicken tikka I'm not happy about it.

Delivered completely wrong order absolutely how hard is it to match an order. Was told your have to go through just eat that takes days for a refund my daughter is hungry now and cannot order another untill this gets sorted. A joke

Cold food and poor presentation . Subway are going down hill

the criss-cross chips were like spong and cold . the sauce supplied with the churo just covered the bottom of the pot. ridiculous really for the amount that was spent with you here. the only thing nor messed up were the subs.

My subway turned up cold, not toasted and no cheese. I asked for a steak and cheese and basically got a lettuce subway. Joke of a service.

Very nice food and drivers was very polite.

There should be an option that allows you to remove things from the meal.

Ingredients were fresh, however my food was cold when it got here. Other than that the food was fresh and good so overall I will give it a 6/10

Had no chicken in the chicken salad

Ordered on Uber eats where it doesn’t give me the option to change the salad in the sandwiches, so, like any normal person I called the restaurant and asked if it was ok if I just let them know as there is not an option to do it via the app. I was told ‘no can’t do that, call Uber support’. (I worked very recently in subway and am personally friends with one of the franchisees, this has never been an issue as we don’t charge for salad on sandwiches so clearly he just didn’t want the extra hassle to write down three things, but ok) after calling Uber support the lady assured me the restaurant now knows to put in onions, gherkins and peppers with sweet chili sauce in the sandwich. Surprise surprise when receiving the order they decided to be petty and I got every salad option they have and a spicy sauce. My crinkle wedges and meatball pot wasn’t even heated up, served me some raw potatoes. At least they got the drink and cookie right, well done

I ordered a toast and i didn't got that. My food was also cold. Next time guys please pay more attention to the order because this isn't the first time when i get all wrong

Subway series meal deal - only received the sandwich and company would not resend, was told we'd get a refund for the missing items but this hasn't happened either. Very disappointed

Awful, we ordered a bmt with cheese and all salad and chipottle sauce, and a philly steak with cheese and some salad and sweet chilli sauce.. we got Bmt with cucumber and tomatoes with chilli sauce and no cheese A philby steak with all salad, no cheese and Chipotle sauce. Complete car crash.. never again

Subway do NOT know how to pack a sandwich properly, it always falls apart, messy presentation every single time.

The person who prepared my food add an additional ingredient that I did not ask for that I am allergic too. Normally great service and this has not happened before and my order is prepared correctly. This time they didn’t follow the instructions and put tomorrows in my wrap and I ate part of this. When I opened the wrap it had 3 tomatoes in it. Please follow the instructions even when your busy as the effects of eating the tomatoes means my whole body will be stinging all over for the next 3-4 d

Ordered online and the sandwich came cold when I asked it to be toasted ,last week a 6inch came when I asked for a foot long so although food was nice instructions need to be paid attention too

Missing cheese garlic bread slice

Ordered a delivery, everything was stone cold. Crinkle chips tiny portion soggy, awful. Garlic bread had the smallest blob of cheese i've ever seen on every slice and didnt taste of garlic. Complete waste of money, reported to uber!

Received the wrong order. Salad had all the nasty bits of lettuce

i am making a complaint i have pictures, the nacho chicken is missing cheese, the sub itself looks like it been torn and then thrown around. Meat marinar again bread is torn its cold and just a mess, this meal is a disgrace and not worth the money i paid for it.

Visited Subway in Grays. Located nicely in town center. Lots of seating space, customer toilet, nice decoration, well maintained. Blown away by smell of freshly made bread, good customer service, maybe not 5 star but definitely more than 4 star.

Got a completely different order from what I had ordered, hoping for this to be refunded back to me

Delivery driver at restaraunt for 30 mins and food cold when he got here (5 min journey). If food was freshly prepared why was it cold and cold drink wasn't cold when it would have come straight out of the fridge. I had to reheat the food which defeated the object of getting it delivered and paying way more than if I had gone to collect it.

The food came to me all open, my sandwich had exploded in the bag and the sauce went EVERYWHERE. To be honest I really looked forward to having my meal, but due to the idiocy of packing the order correctly it was all ruined and inedible. - I will be waiting for compensation for this.

The nachos had a tiny amount of salsa thrown in the corner of the box then just dropped the nachos on top so was just a soggy box full of plain nachos and the nacho chicken bites was squashed into a mooshy ball just looked disgusting so went straight in the bin

Second time in a row my order from Subway was incorrect. Last time no sauce, this time no onions. I requested both when ordered so disappointing.

Must’ve had a sweetcorn and cheese shortage on the day I ordered as I couldn’t see any in my sub!

The delivery person left my food on my door step on the floor and did not inform me of this. The app had lost connection with him/her so I couldn’t see how far he/she was. I only saw the food when I took the bin out. Appalling behaviour….

Love subway unfortunately this time I bought roster chicken sandwiches and I'm not sure chicken was fresh.

Great customer service and fresh food. Massive dining space inside which is not common for the subway. Inside the high street and close to the station. Parking is available in the evening time. Highly recommended.

Once again have made multiple errors on order which has led to food being inedible and having to been thrown. Store were then very unhelpful in rectifying issues.

Food tasted like it had been in a fridge for 20minutes

Disgusting customer service. Hung up on my girlfriend twice and then on me twice. Their Internet went down and they could not have cared less. I wouldn't be surprised if these people spit in the food and don't wear gloves. Atrocious store. I had the urge to personally drive down and row with everyone of these minimum wage college dropouts. Bunch of w**kers.

Received stone cold, no heating instructions, called subway, could barely hear above all the noise. Was told nothing to do with them and to contact just eat instead. Called just eat and just get told to contact website for allergy advice. Will not use this place again!!

I didn’t even receive my order

I ordered plant based meat alternatives. And i couldn't tell the difference between them and real meat (beef and chicken), even when i swallowed it it was the same. Then i had to look at the meat closely and it looked the same as normal meat. This left me thinking they had given me real meat. This left me unhappy, plant based alternatives should be close but still distinguishable from real meat. Im still 50/50 on whether or not i had real meat.
