McDonald's in Thurrock

How stupid can you be??? It’s not hard to read a label that says no cheese? And no straws for drinks?? So stupid.

It's-2 outside and this was almost replicated inside. Tables were clean and service was reasonably quick.. but just left on the counter. If the number was called I didn't hear it. The main problem being it was so cold inside. Sat with 2 jumpers and a coat on and shivering. Need heating!

Food was quick and hot via drive through. Order was correct and the guy running the order and payment window had great customer service skills. Really good compared to the other branches you find on your travels.

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING Food & Service. Walked inside at 2:30am had to wait 15 minutes to be able to order... Fries are absolutely blank & tasteless (McDonald's Flavour is Dead) no Salt just fries as you make them at home. Prices are High and Quality & Size are Rubbish. Apple Pie is half size but doubled in price. Why people are still paying for this rubbish I don't know. All I know is that I won't anymore..! Shame to you, absolute rip-off!

Always missing food items on drive through Again missing two items , no one answering phone and unable to leave message

Went through the drive through at 5 in the morning had to wait for 10 minutes to be served but was entertained by the rats scurrying around. Won't bother again

what is the point of having electric charging points if they are full of non electric cars with an empty car park?? the parking isn’t theirs apparently but they can impose a 90 min stay which clearly stated for Mcdonald’s use. the food is always stale also

Have been waiting for our bacon and egg muffins for half an hour, they came all burnt and inedible, told staff about it, no apologies, what an awful place

Open 24 hours and situated just off J31 of the M25 this is a very busy outlet but nonetheless usually efficient. Milkshakes are often unavailable which is a big disappointment. Usual McDonald's fare. A reasonable sized car park and drive-thru options.

Nice place, great table service, Atmosphere is rough due to the school kids not being stopped by the staff as they're loud and rude. The food is always touch n go unfortunately.

No vegetarian breakfast. Egg is not vegetarian 😞.

Toilets sheet, only 1 toilets for man

Staff do amazing job here. Especially putting up with rude people. No need for some peoples attitude towards staff. It’s a shame McDonald’s management don’t just refuse to serve these people. Just seems like people think oh it’s just McDonald’s I can be rude. Yet they eat McDonald’s regularly.

The ice cream always is half, food always cold,the toilets are disgusting, I think is needed for a new manager. The place is a disgusting.

Takes way too long to be served on the drive thru, especially when it's quiet at night.

Very busy and at least 2 of the self service machines had no paper for receipts but the 1 man on the till was very helpful even if overwhelmed by the amount of people coming up to him

Cold and seats seem to be made of granite. Very sterile and unwelcoming design with nearly no practice benefits. Next time I'd eat in the car instead of the latest McDonald's disaster designs.

Food was not hot some staff disappearing to the toilets together leaving other staff to struggle manager not standing up to them very poor show.

Food, service and the atmosphere was great here, I find myself in the area a lot and enjoy knowing that this place is not too far for a quick snack. As good as a maccies gets!

Fish fillet is always burnt. Always takes 30 minutes to leave with your food. Incredibly slow service. Never seen a McDonald’s charge you for the small spots of curry sauce, ketchup and bbq before either.

The last four times I've been here I've been told I can't have a milkshake at the drive thru, yet if I book on the app I can have one, it's frustrating and the staff are sloppy, use a different one.

Popped in for a quick burger and drink. They are efficient and friendly stuff. I had recommendations at 1st window and left with a good food deal after All.

Why advertize that you are 24 hour when i went for a late night bit of food to be told your not taking orders as you are doing a delivery. Pssst

Ordered food on uber eats waited a hole hour and 45 minutes eventually the food arrived after the driver was waiting there for almost 20 minutes ...very disappointing I didn't even really eat the food because it was ice cold when it got here although the driver took about 4 minutes to get here what a waste of money and time

Very strange setup. On the auto self order panel you do not even get the possibility to select to eat in the restaurant. When I complained about this, he put my take out bag on a plate without any comment. Overall service, friendliness was very bad.

food turned up stone cold and share box of cheese bites missing completely. doesn't matter whether you collect or deliver from this restaurant they seem to have more interest in chatting rather than serving customers. incompetence!!!

Today I had the worst McDonald's expe rience ever. Fries were super soggy. The fish finger was over cooked. I returned the fries but they served the soggy fries again. I complained to the Asian shift manager but his response was very poor. I am a a Asian too and also worked in customer service for a long time. I never experienced like this before.

Very Poor service never recommended this place unprofessional manager the portion is very small for the ice creams and it’s not worth to pay £2.19 for the big portions so probably when you will take small you will get nothing….. and the manager of the Thurrock Mc close the lids and say it’s normal. So now I’m understand why the customer experience rate is only 1.5 .

Quite a poor service this time. Ordered two drinks and a pie. After being shown on the screen for 5 minutes my order disappeared. After 15 mins I asked for an update at which point they put my order together, but the drinks and the pie were no longer hot so clearly they cannot handle busy periods well.

I counted 22 people standing and waiting for their food Mc Donald's just ain't the same as it was due to the service and how long it takes to get your order

Don’t go drive through around midnight as you might end up waiting 30 mins to get your order.

making me wait 30 minutes for fries unacceptable customer service i’m still starving matter of fact absolutely disgusting behaviour towards clients (40 mins later i got my order it was full of sauce and i asked for plain)

Took 15 minutes to get 2 drinks. Both were wrong. What more can I say. To much emphasis on delivery and drive through. Walk ins are treated as second class citizens.

Very clean lots for kids to do fast service

Easy and convenient for a toilet break and grab a quick bite to eat .

The staff are doing the best they can under the conditions that corporate have set for them, but 20 minutes wait time for a quarter pounder is easy too long. Recommend using the drive through if you come here, waiting times are much lower for people in their cars for some reason.

OK but had to stop on main road to wait to get in to car park. The road in the car park is terrible, the drains are sunken and will cause an accident sooner rather than later.

Pretty poor. We got to the good collection station and my daughter wanted to get a ketchup and the wanted ten pence I offered to pay but they wanted to take my phone across the restaurant from the drive though to pay the 10p we spent £30. Really sad and poor staff dealing with this.

Worst McDonald’s I have ever eaten out of my food was freezing and staff was very rude and aggressive when I asked for warmer Fries and also ordered 20 chicken nugget meal which is supposed to come with 4 dips I ask for my dips and would not give them asked for 10p 😂 very bad way to run a business.

20 mins between ordering an uncomplicated food order and it coming out is unacceptable.

I ordered at 10.30pm to get delivery time of 11pm-11.25 . The whole time said my order was preparing . Delivery time changed to 12 am-12.20 then it changed again to 12.05-12.20 . Food arrived was freezing cold I had to reheat . Delivery driver was ok

Great service in here but milkshake machine rarely works.

Most of the time, we use drive-through, but yesterday went inside. Staff was useful and rubbish all over the place. We sat by the kids' table and pushed rubbish aside. There were no clean tables at all.

The best double cheeseburger I've ever had from McDonald's.

All the time the staff forgot to put something in me order. I always said i wouldn't go to them anymore, but now i really wouldn't go any more.

Very, very slow on the drive through, only one car in front when we arrived but still waited 15 minutes. Had to ask for cutlery for pancakes as not included in the bag. Asked for 2 tomato sauces and was charged 20p. Did not have cash and they would not accept card so had to leave my car and walk back to the first window in the rain to pay. Server was rude and intentionally made me wait longer. Will never return. Awful franchise!

Helpful staff and extremely relaxing ambience.

Bare faced cheek to charge 10p a dip to go with half arsed filled fries, may as well got a happy meal. Service is shocking.

You normally get 1 dip (ketchup etc) with your meal. Now you have to pay 10p. I used a £20 note to pay 10p for a dip with my meal!!!! McDonald’s is going down hill :-(

15 minute wait for a half full chips and the least appetising McDonald's burger I've ever seen. Seem to have lots of staff, but very few customers, so no idea what they're all doing!

Driver had music blasting which woke up neighbours and my family

Having gone through the drive through and having been asked twice my order was still wrong I paid for 3 chips and received one to go with 3 burgers and have tried to call them but they don’t answer the phone disgusting service

Was late at night admittedly, but should always check food before leaving drive-thorugh area, as some of our food was just about Luke warm.

Fast service, which seems to be rare in UK McDonald's these days.

It's not the staffs fault as they were working hard but there was 3 people on this shift granted it was night but still ... this mc d is always busy and popular but always a night mare it takes ages and always out of stock of stuff. Not the staffs fault it's obviously the management . Terrible service everyone in the area knows this is the last resort to get food if you can get to another one don't use this one

Dirty restaurant, fruit flys everywhere, rude obnoxious staff

One of the nicest and cleanest I’ve been in. Plenty of seating and has a kids play area as well. Very spacious

Toilets and dining area leave a lot to be desired cleanliness/ hygiene obviously the last thing in the staffs mind.

Always quick service despite it being a very busy area. New indoor rock climb area is great too.

Called here after coming through. Tunnel The chips were chewy and I asked for a latte and got a white coffee not to my liking. I do live 200 + miles so the chances of returning are very low

Wow. What a dump. Rude staff even to ask a member of staff a simple question and let them know food is missing is met with hostility. Each of the 3 staff I had interactions with was very unpleasant and rude. It's not my fault you're in a job you guys hate. Food not cooked properly you even have to pay for the free pots of sauce pmsl. Slow service and items missing then to ask for the food you ordered was like expecting a punch to the face the way staff look at you.

Where fast food isn't fast anymore

Unfortunately I’ve had to give a 1 start as that’s the lowest it would allow, The staff are unhelpful and seem to not be busy yet customers are waiting everywhere we ordered on the machines and then waited 15 mins for “fast food” number to be called then asked for sauce to be told that had to be paid for then asked for milk for a tea to be huffed at and not given the amount asked for instead given what could be found in close proximity, so left and decided to put it down to experience once back on the road realised chips were half empty with no salt, burgers appeared to be stamped on inside of the box and the tea made with what I can only described as warm tap water so much so the tea bad won’t actually brew in it! Shocking service shocking food avoid at all cost

McDonald's fries are always 50/50 but this place never ever lets you down, fresh hot food with plenty of parking and a place for the kids to play.

Step right up folks. The carnival is in town. Try your hand at the newest carnival event...throw the ingredients in to the burger bun. The prize I hear you ask? If get all the ingredients in the burger box, it'll get served. Does it matter how it looks? No. Does it matter if the customer gets sauce all over thier fingers? Of course not. Seriously though. Excellent quick service, great atmosphere. I would have happily waited 5 minutes more to get a burger that was put together with care. Tasted great, but looked like it was made during an earthquake.

How can you advertise 24 hour when you are not…unacceptable

Better experience this time and the food was hot and tasty.

Had a drive thru after a quick trip to the local area, it was very busy but the staff coped well and the wait time was very impressive with the amount of cars there. Also some of the staff were helping with a delivery so extra pressure on the staff inside cooking and serving. Food was hot and as I say reassembly quick to come out. Area was clean and the bins didn’t look empty.

Ordered on ubereats. Food came cold and stale. McFlurry melted completely, chips stale and chips tasted like it was cooked hours ago, very dry , disgusting! Burger was cold and rock hard! I won’t be ordering from here nor going to this location again

I’d like to thank Josh for trying to help with the issue on the app where I lost points when payment failed due to app fault. It wouldn’t let me press drive through option and order didn’t go through. Josh done everything in his power to try help us. However unfortunately the manager who came over to “help” but was very unhelpful

How can you hire people who don't speak hardly any English? Literally had to write into my phone and show them what I wanted. Absolutely insane for the sake of diversity!

This is the worst McDonalds to order from. Every single time I’ve ordered they’ve either given the driver the complete wrong order or I’ve had items missing from my order. I’ve ordered from different McDonald’s and this is the only one which I’ve had this much problems ordering from.

Disgusting service this morning, not one please or thank you or smile from the drive thru staff. The girl who practically threw the cold cheese flatbread at me closed the window so quick the gentleman who cleans outside had to bang on the window for me to get their attention as they didnt bother putting a napkin in the bag. They have had so many chances to improve. I shall go to Tim Hortons from now on at least they smile and the food is hot.

The Druce through at this store gets orders wring often. Today I got nuggets*20+ nuggets *9 + nuggets*9!!! I ordered and was charged for 2*9 selects + the box of 20 nuggets. Errors are common here.

Shocking customer service at the drive thru tonight, absolutely shockingly bad, not using the order screens, meaning they have an incredibly long line, taking over 20 minutes for drive thru, ignoring people when they arrive at the window, very dismissive, rude and all round just terrible, customer service at this one is just awful

It's a McDonald's...what more can you say. Slightly put off by the family of rats in the car park 😂 but food was great.
