The large portion of chips has considerably shrunk in size.

I saw the woman standing on the food counter and dusting off the muck from above the meat grills, the muck falling over the meat. Despicable hygiene standards and I won't be going back.

Great food at a good price. Friendly staff I would highly recommend this place.

The shish kebab was nice and the salad was fresh and when you pay for a large lamb shish you get your moneys worth

Large fish is now the size of a medium the chips are a good portion though both taste nice and good quality prices have gone up a far amount recently

For 6 months now my daughter, son in law and myself have been having lunch from her with no complaints. Until yesterday my daughter and I had cod which looked as though it was been reheated the batter was unpleasantly hard and not a good colour the fish inside very dry. My son in laws pie was cold and very stale. The chips were just small end pieces quite sharp and inedible . Time for a change of chippie I think. Must have been a bad day at the office. Somewhere else next week.,

I was quite surprised with the variety of food that they offer here at such good prices. I would say this is one of the greatest places to go for tasty, traditional Fish and Chips in the area. I was particularly pleased with the customer service from a young gentleman who was very quick and pleasant. The shop was also very clean. Would definitely recommend!

The new price increases are way too high ,think I'll go elsewhere 50p more on a large portion of chips ,that's a joke Today 25/02/23 horrified to see their prices have gone up yet again,less than a year since their last increase.For instance a large portion of chips has risen to a pound increase in less than a year, appalling,it's my favourite chippy but I'm not paying more and more,I'll give this place a miss from now on

Always had Tilbury fish bar as our takeaway for Friday evenings for ages had it again last week for the 1st time in ages still great quality food and delivery is great

When it's a takeaway order is spot on but its always a let down on delivery normally sent to wrong address tonight wrong meals only had it as was so hungry 4 times on delivery never right so will only use if I'm getting takeaway price is good compared to most

Ordered chessey chips battaered sausage and curry charged me ten pound when the prices didn't add upto thar argued with me over it then missed the battered sausage from my meal robbing C***s

Ordered 2 simple takeaways at 6:10, after chasing up 4 times we finally got a cold meal delivered at 7:45 by an argumentative driver. Absolutely horrendous and will never use again, particularly as we were promised a replacement freshly cooked meal within 10 minutes after our final complaint and this never arrived.

Large cod and chips, excellent quality food and superb friendly service. Will definitely be back the next time I'm catching the ferry from Tilbury

My go to place for fish and chips, the food is lovely fresh and we'll priced, if ordering for delivery they sometimes take a long time that's why only 4 stars but highly recommend

Order 3 fish dinners on Good Friday. We waited 1.5 hours but was told this when ordering and was given the option to collect in 20 mins. We went for the delivery. Was it worth the wait oh yes it was. Thoroughly enjoyed it cooked to perfection and was delivered by a lovely cheerful man. Believe they are the only local fish bar in Tilbury still serving food during the COVID-19 lockdown, keep up the good work.

My husband got us fish and chips tonight and it was terrible fish dried over cooked chips overcooked Luke warm as it was gone 6pm I couldn't go and take them back this is not the first time this happened but this is last time we buy from them again cost £ 10 money down the drain I will be going in to complain

I find the name of this establishment utterly misleading. I really thought it was a place were fish enthusiasts came to gather, so I went there with my favorite goldfish, Goldielocks. As you can imagine, it was quite the trauma for my dear fish to see her kind breaded and deep fried. I figure it was even more disturbing for her when she saw me actually having the fish and chips (don't judge, I was already there and I was starving). Anyway, here is when it gets bizarre: I accidentally dropped a bit of the fried fish into the fishbowl, Goldilocks ate it and she loved it! Afterwards, she seemed more energetic and overall happy, so I guess it was a good experience after all... But did I turn my fish into cannibalism?🤔

Absolutely great food and super friendly staff. It was my first visit tonight but it certainly won't be my last. The kids all said how great their meals were and myself and my wife were very pleased with our meal. Our fish was cooked fresh and to absolute perfection and there was more food than we could eat. Found the establishment to be hygemiv with good food at reasonable prices and the staff to be patient and helpful.

Best chips in the area. Fish, pies & kebabs as well . normally easy to park. If you haven't tried it yet you are missing out.

Have been ordering from here the past year, tasty food, can be a long wait if you want fresh cod but worth the wait. Delivery times vary quickest bring 22 mins, longest 1 hour 20 mins.

I always look forward to Tilbury Fish bar the fish is always cooked fresh and the chips are amazing. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that it's open during the day but doesn't do delivery till the evening.

Best curry sauce in town even get their curry sauce to have with my Chinese it’s that good. Chips are fab too! Always fresh!

After using a competitors shop in Tilbury for over twenty years and being very satisfied until it recently changed hands and the standard dropped I was a first time customer here. The staff were friendly, the food was cooked freshly and the place was very clean and have continued to shop here and to be honest I won’t go anywhere else now.

Have been a regular here for years, friendly staff, great food, always cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients, wouldn't go anywhere else!

Very pleasant "chip shop", nice and clean, staff very friendly, food always good, kebabs as well, seating area, and reasonably priced, considering "competition" of eateries in the area does very well customer wise, sometimes could leave chips in a bit longer, all according to taste though.

Fish cooked to order, never had bad food from here. The best in Tilbury by far.

Ordered from here a lot and never had an issue. Ordered a chicken kebab, forgot the salad which I can forgive as it was a simple mistake. We called up and over half hour later, we're still waiting for the salad.
