Favorite Chicken & Ribs Tilbury in Thurrock

i ordered 6 chicken strips and they weren’t strips they didn’t taste like chicken they tasted like fish and were extremely DRY!! as you can tell by the picture that they are not chicken strips they are meant to be battered not breaded!! never had a breaded chicken strip from favourites EVER out of the many years i have been to favourites! will not be returning.

Last night I got 5 chicken fillet burgers for dinner and my whole family got sick and was throwing up all night. Definitely will never buy anything from there again.

Absolutely shocking been up all night I’ll over a chicken rap thought I was gunna end up in hospital stay away from this place filth

I went there with my mate and the lady said if I tasted her beef curtains, I would be able to get free chicken but I did and she lied.

Reminds me of Dixys chicken 20 years ago. No sauce in bottles only sachets and chilli sauce which is mass produced and marked up to (only) 25p a pot. Chips were served in paper bags. Food was ok as the chicken was made fresh but nothing to go crazy about.

I am absolutely horrified to discover that the ribs are pork ribs. This place advertises as halal, this is appalling. How can this establishment be halal when serving pork? Furthermore, why is it not advertised that the ribs are pork meat and NOT halal?

Absolute joke of a place never order from here we got our food delivered only round the corner and food come freezing cold chips had been double fried which was still cold the wings was freezing burger was freezing was hot happy at all called the shop wanted me to drive to the shop so they could replace my food absolutely not that’s why I got a takeaway also the lady on the phone calling me sir!! I am a woman! Fix up do better

I like favorite chikens brand but this one is thr worst i ever was. 5.50£ for 1 pc and 3 wings meal and you even cant use sauces because its 50p extra a u out of your mind 50p for a simple sauce? :D

If you want long delays .cold chicken and soggy chips. Cold beans. This is the place to order from. Plus they dont answer phone. 32 calls no answer. 2 hours from order to delivery. Wont use again.

Kids meal £3.49 on menu it says choose one from each category, there are 3 categories so i presume you can get 3 items only to be told only 2 allowed.

Always good food. Don't have to wait too long for food. Cheesy chilli bites are definitely a must!

Made a just eat order 2and a half hours ago, still waiting! Tried calling constantly for a whole hour no answer, for a Saturday night I can understand late delivery! but no answer either? Totally unprofessional

Terrible service We ordered, via just eat last night ref Alexandra and wait over an hour on our time . I had to go and collect from the driver as no one read our instructions on how to find our house. Trying to explain to the driver was a job aswell as even could not understand what I was trying to instruct him When we ask for a refund we were told it was late due to heavy traffic. This is a lie as we live 5 mins round the corner The truth is they were very busy, wasn't answering their phones didn't read the instructions we left on just eat and the driver was useless

Food is cooked very nice. Pleasantly served plenty of it. Good choices. Have been to wickford shop as well. Both identicall.

Don’t ever order from this place! Found a fly in my chips which I had begun eating& found a fly leg in the bottom of another bag of chips. I rung them up and the manager and staff were very rude and aggressive towards me. Then dealt with the situation by saying they will refund us but never deliver to us again, even though this is their own problem :/ this is no way to speak to a customer after this incident.

Nice large fresh chicken pieces. Fast service and generous with the chips. Has some rib options and nice original wraps. (Tangy tomatoe is nice) Meat is halal except the ribs.

As a Favourite Chicken connoisseur, and I have been to quite a few, this ranks up there as one of the best to do what they do. The staff are friendly and are always happy give you the bits of chicken you ask for. I've personally never had a bad order from this branch. For those wondering the worse branch out there is in Amsterdam, NL.

Worst food I have ever had the portion size was tiny. The staff over the phone where rude and refused refund I told him I would take them back. Do not eat anything in this place once you have paid they will give you anything they want and refuse a refund. Rubbish food, rubbish service and no refund.

Food is okay, don't eat too much or it does upset the stomach. But, it's fried chicken so what do you expect.. One of the very few places that sells strawberry mirinda!

50p price increments on all meals, the chicken burgers are hit and miss, chicken and chips are good

Very very poor service, over priced and still ask for 25p a sauce even after a big order! The guy forgot to give me my wings then when I challenged him he said I didn't order any! He duly checked and saw I had he gave the wings. No apology no free sauce. Disgusting avoid!
