Very poor performance from this brunch should be embarrassed no-one had a clue what they was doing didn’t switch gloves when handling with different meat and vegetables they used the same gloves and also they don’t have any hairnets on, in a food department it’s a massive requirement when your dealing with food that you should be always wearing hairnets especially with long hair

The service was quick and staff had a great mindset of moving everyone along. However, I found a hair In my food and as I went back I had no apology which I found bizarre, they wouldn’t be happy if roles were reversed, and I asked for a refund. They should wear hair nets as any food department does and requires to do and this will be better for the future. Me and my partner love coming here but this was just disappointing.

They are probably never going to see this, and even if they do, I doubt they will care. The service at this Subway location is far below the standard of other branches. The staff all seem very unhappy to be there and offer no advice on bread types like other Subways. Instead, they just say “what bread?” without any effort. They manhandled my footlong, leaving it squished and misshaped. The Asian lady who took my order bluntly asked “what filling” with no manners or grace. She gave me a measly portion and mumbled something I couldn’t hear, so when I asked her to repeat it, she rolled her eyes and harshly said “toasted with cheese.” I reluctantly said yes. She slammed the cheese on and threw it in the toaster. Trying to be polite, I asked if she was having a busy day to see if she was okay. She ignored me and passed me to the vegetable and toppings area. The staff there were slightly more friendly, but when I asked for extra onion, it clearly displeased them. Overall, my visit was uncomfortable and the service was rude. I am extremely disappointed and will not be using this Subway again anytime soon!

the staff here is very rude, especially the woman and the manager of this subway branch. After scanning my QR code, they messed up my order and when i asked for a refund, they just told me to have the order that they gave me. i told them that its their fault and they got the order wrong and yet they refused to refund. When i told them that i would write a bad review, the manager at this subway told me to ‘hurry up and write it’ as there was a huge line. I also told them that they have bad customer service and they made faces and started being very rude, i will never come here ever again and i recommend you save yourself the hassle and eat from other subway branches or other restaurants as nobody deserves to be treated this way. Im extremely disappointed.

Be careful vegetarians, vegans, people with food allergies. Staffs here dont change gloves. Everytime i have to request to change gloves,cos im a vegetarian.

(I’m a vegetarian)Staff used gloves to serve customers prior to us, picked up salami using gloves and then continued to pick up cheese and place back into the tub. Did not change gloves when serving us, and continued to use the same gloves when handling our bread rolls. Had to just leave. It’s a basic requirement and this was foul service unfortunately.

This place is always clean with plenty of staff on in busy periods. All seem organised,, professional,, pleasant & helpful. In particular PAIGE who spent 20 mins with me on last visit helping me sort an issue out with my subway app. She has excellent communication people skills & now won’t go to any other subway in Doncaster. Thank you to all staff but in particular to PAIGE 💛

I want to make a complaint about the service received at Lakeside. I received an email saying that I could cash in 500 points for a footlong sub. Only when I came to pay did the cashier say the promotion wasn't on at that store. No where is it stated which stores are or aren't participating. She was also extremely rude when I said I didn't want the sub as it should be free and I was basically made to purchase it as "it's already been made"

Terrible service. Ordered 3 times on uber eat and they cancelled the order after accepting waste my half hour then I drive to the branch arrive at 7.40 pm and staff told me that the store is close. Officel timing on subway app is 9p.m and lakeside close at 9p.m as well. Will never go this place again waste of time

I always go there from years bcz i found it best previously but from last 3 times i traveled 30 miles for halal subway, but first at 3.30 they said we are cleaning come after 15 mints they said no dine in allowed now bcz we are closing at 5, and thats also not an issue but i bought 2 foot longs and a lady bit healthy one almost she is on the counter just filled one small hand of chicken in foot long , technically they added 2 in 6 inch so its like no chicken in it then she added salad like 2 slices of tomatoes in foot long, really disappointed thats not a quality of subway i think subway have to take action against them at the end i think staff saving all staff for themselves , its 3rd time i have eaten emptied subway with no filling inside, will never go there

Waited for some time for a staff member to to leave her social club, aka kitchen, to come out front to serve me. Had to call someone to get service. No apology for the wait when she did show up. Came back again 15mins later and again, no staff visible out front so had to beckon staff out again. Terrible service and other eateries all have staff visible out front.

Reading over comments they need to see that it’s not going to be the ritz-food is always how it’s ordered Staff are prompt and friendly to talk towards no issues with the subway just some of the petty comments have been left on here

This place advertised in the window that it closes at 5PM on sunday, I came to the store at 4.45 on sunday the 10th of November 2019 and the two girls behind the till refused to serve me because they said they are closed, I said its 4.45 you close at 5 and I just want to take away, she didn't even say anything just looked at me blank faced. I will recommend to never go to this subway and I will never go to this on again. I would give Zero stars buy 1 is the lowest unfortunately.

Dinner for 2, booked 45 minutes before turning up and all good on arrival. Food was great and the customer service for was excellent from Josh. Harvester needs more Josh's.

Just been sold two coffees at 4.54pm. No one said they were closing shortly. Received the wrong order then was told at 5.00pm I was told, quite rudely, I could have 3 mins to finish my bucket of coffee before I needed to leave!
