The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Food was awful no taste or flavour didn't taste like steak the black pepper sauce was tasteless and watery and oily floating on my plate disgusting we threw all the food in the bin chips were bland and unable to eat hard pieces

Chow mein greasy ,chicken dry ,chips dry ,food tasted weird not fresh

Food was unsealed and gross and delivery driver stunk of urine AVOID!

Unreal open and close when they feel like it's 9pm on a Wednesday it's a joke when on line says different I got to be honest a few times I have went to order if I'm honest they should change there time on line until the feel like cooking its terrible

We ordered food which came to 43.00 and on plating it up, it was cold. Will not be going again.

Probably the worst Chinese food Iv ever had, salt and pepper ribs more fat than meat, salt and pepper chips no flavour, curry was just a yellow sauce with no taste, the prawn crackers was about the best part of the meal. The blandest meal Iv had from a Chinese and I travel around country in campervan and eat in most city’s, the only chinese Iv had with no flavour Won’t be eating here ever again

Liked the food here .On a number of occasions was missing half of salt and pepper chicken portion on last occasion the curry sauce was like water so I’m done with this one

The worst food I've ever had from jade wok. Sweet and sour sauce just strong red vinegar.kung po beef tasteless and full of cashew nuts and green pepper which I asked them to leave out due to allergy. Chicken balls raw batter inside. Salt and chilli chips were normal chips sprinkled with Chinese salt you can buy at the supermarket. After all that it was all stone cold and most of it went in the bin. Nearly £30 down the drain. Don't order online as you only have to ring up with card details another ploy for CASH ONLY.

Good fish and chips from here. I would recommend and buy from here again. Great portion sizes and very reasonable prices - Large cod, regular chips and mushy peas cost £11.50. The freshly cooked-to-order cod was a decent size and was good quality fish. The only thing letting it down was that the batter was a little undercooked / still wet on the inside; it was crispy on the outside, not greasy and not too thick. A couple of minutes longer in the oil and probably would have been perfect. Nice chips, well cooked and not soggy or greasy and a generous portion sizes.

Generous portions, tasty food. Had beef chow mein and it was really good. Prompt delivery and friendly service. First time using this place but will do again.

The best chinese takeaway in existence. Fortune Inn has got me through tough times, the most insidious hangovers, and a million celebrations. The only issue I have ever had is the fact that its now impossible to get a chinese from anywhere else as nothing compares.

Pleasant staff and the food I've tried was really nice. I generally order the Chicken and Sweetcorn soup, hot and sour soup, sweet and sour pork, any of the noodles but I tend to go udon, and then also salt and pepper ribs or salt and pepper tofu. All really tasty - i'd say the salt and pepper dishes could have more spices and flavour, it's sometimes a little weak-flavoured. I'd recommend collecting as the front of house are pleasant.

I recently moved , soo used to my "old" take away... which we loved ..UNTIL WE ORDERED here....(Wife and daughter happy), great taste, and great service...food amazing.. Helio Santos
