The best restaurants in England

I visited the Real Scoop and had the most delightful ice cream (Blueberry flavour, but my partner had Raspberry that was equally delicious!). Very good quality, really creamy and fruity, and really good value! Generous portion sizes!

A great little spot for some fabulous seafood. My son and his friend shared some hot scampi and calamari which were beautifully cooked and presented with wedges and salad. My friend also sampled the cold mussels which she said were delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the vendor who oozed personality and was very welcoming. We will be adding it to our list of places to visit on our annual trek to Weston Super Mare.

Loved it! I had a great dxoerience with my family. The host was very sociable, attentive and entertaining. Food was delicious.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! It serves delicious food which is made freshly on-site. There is a nice range of food on the menu and it is very good value. The owner is very friendly and polite. It is also family friendly - has high chairs, a changing table and a ramp for easy access. I highly recommend.

The coffee is amazing. Visited this place 4 times. The staff is amazing and are all very kind. Loved it here. Loved the pastries as well! There is AC. Good working place

First night on our trip away so hunted for a bite to eat, opted for fresh kitchen due to reviews and dispite not many resent I would strongly recommend and Altho we never got our pot of guacamole and coriander it was still a feast to say the least. These are large portions of exceptional quality food. Friendly people with local knowledge.

Hay una ausencia de bares gay en Nottingham, pero siento que esto saciará la sed. Mantente atento a las noches de arrastre. The atmosphere was chilled and fairly quite. The menu quality ha a variety amazing options to choose for example the latte was £3.20. We had exceptional service from Euan and Iona! The hygiene was 10 out of 10 cleaning service state of the art. The prices are reasonable and not to expensive compared to the other cafes. Accessible wheel chairs is very good they can manage to get in and out to go through a magical a garden to chill out and have amazing time with their drinks! overall very outstanding service and definitely come back and we will look forward to see you again soon.

Great coffee, bagel and cake. New management keeping up the excellent standards of the old. There definately is a need for a trditional cafe like this one in GX

Went last Saturday at 1pm and didn't come out till 6. What a fantastic place. Great atmosphere and the locals were brilliant.

The lady in the shop was really friendly and helpful. She gave us directions for nearest public loo and said she'd stay open until we got back. Delicious decaff iced coffee. Highly recommend.

Brilliant spot.. food is 10/10, lovely environment & great staff. Board games to keep you occupied, not that you'll be waiting long. Great selection of cakes.

This was the first time we had visited The Merchant House and was very pleasantly surprised. From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The owner/chef/bar tender created 2 delicious cocktails for us. We didn't have time to try one of the extremely tempting meals this time but have booked to come in again next weekend. Highly recommend trying - you will not be disappointed.
