Canton Chinese Takeaway in North Lincolnshire

Thank you Canton for yet another fabulous tasty takeaway. I ordered Sweet and Sour king prawns succulent and flavoursome.Egg fried rice was lovely has was the crispy seaweed. Quality food not many can deliver these days.

Rang at 8.50 no show so rang at 9.50 to be told ten minutes for the driver to turn up at 10.20 I said can it not be discounted they said no the woman answering was very rude quick to get me off the phone and giving excuses as to why no show yet if I’d of known it was going to be an extra 30 minutes when I rang after an hour I’d of cancelled but the woman couldn’t be honest enough. Customer service is a joke you’d of given the meal free or at least discounted for good reputation won’t be using again.

We have used canton for few years but last twice it’s far to hot and sweet really sorry as lovely customer service we won’t be coming our mouth are on fire sadly as it was our favourite curry not the same

Spare Ribs no 5. Not pleased at all, The sauce was lovely the ribs disgusting all fat with very little meat, 4 peaple unable to eat them. Tried to re heat today no change still inedible. The bean sprouts were nice, so disappointing.

Very friendly staff and the food did taste good however.. one of the pots was supposed to be a beef curry.. it was just a pot of mushrooms with some sauce on it. There’s no way someone didn’t know what they were doing.

Was a long wait but it was very busy tonight!! Food was absolutely lovely so thank you :) girl who served us works so well under pressure x

Ordered food at 5.45 and still no food by 7.45 rang for the women to say delivery driver is already on his way to then be waiting another 20 mins. Food wasn't cooked to the best standered. Think they forgot about our order. Got £2 off a £32.80 bill so no money off food just money off delivery fee won't be ordering from canton again this is after us been at customer at canton for meny years very disappointed ☹️☹️😞😞

I got a Munch box delivered..it only took 30 minutes on delivery ..the delivery guy was very polite and the food looked ok..the downside was it came in a box like a pizza box and all the food was stone cold. not even warm ..I mean you don't get a delivery take away and usually turn it in to a microwave meal experience..I can't give it a better rating based on the temperature of the food as it just felt like I'd bought something that had been a takeaway once and now wasnt one

Absolutely amazing, new favourite chinese takeaway

My food was very dry and didn't taste very nice. Cost a fortune to be placed in the bin 2 mouth fulls. Chips was scraps and made 3 teeth loose and pork balls also like rock and food was slightly warn. I am very disappointed to say the least

Best Chinese I ever had and now a regular. Their salt and pepper chicken and chips are amazing. Very good value for money as you get good portions for what you pay. Very friendly staff. Got this place recommended by a colleague at work and I am so glad she did!

visited this evening at 2100 i bought special curry and chips i had special curry and rice the evening befor and really fancied chips for a change couldn't wait to eat the meal however I was very disappointed with the chips they tasted as if they were warmed up from the day before absolutely awful never again

Singapore chow Mein nice and spicy

I first used them when my usual takeaway was closed and these guys were open, and the food was so much nicer than I was used to. Needless to say they're now my first choice takeaway - can't fault the food or the service.

Best Chinese take away in scunthorpe fresh chips, just great meals

Ordered chicken chow mein.... only had 3pcs of chicken in it, and that looked like it had been chewed by a dog first..... and the chips were disgusting..... cold chips from a chip shop not a chinese... warmed up... white uncooked awful things, wont be going back. Very disappointing.

Canton Chinese Take Away scunthorpe. Always used this Chinese now never again since they just changed hands. Ordered 30.00 worth of food. It arrived uncooked called to tell them I want a refund they can't serve uncooked food. There attitude was disgusting so I told them I'm off to environmental health and I am and the papers her attitude was disgusting. Got the proof food uncooked. Please do not USE this place. Shocking

Just had one of the best takeaway's I ever had from these guys. Very impressed with the flavors, quality and seemed to get so much and extra free things for our money.

Canton is a Cantonese takeaway located on Healey road, Scunthorpe, close to Costcutter. It is open all week except Tuesday which is a religious day in the Chinese owner’s religion. It is usually open from 5 o’clock pm to midnight. They operate a very good delivery service as well. Canton is a successful business for several reasons, most of which I have indicated in the description. The location of the store is a good one because it is located on a street which is full, it is close to several small groups of houses and it is straight underneath a block of flats, also people who are going to the shop nearby can see it and they might became hungry. The days of opening are brilliant for business as well because, unlike most shop, Canton is open on a Sunday, which means it can have a part in the small Sunday tread with happens. The opening hours are also good because it means that they get tread from people coming home after a drink in a nearby pub, the open half, also it is a good timing for people wanting to have a Chinese for tea or a late night supper/snack. A delivery service allows people to stay at home and order same of their favourite food. briliant food.
