The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Called in while passing on our way home and thought we'd give it a try, nice lady serving, couldn't decide between 5 Cod bites and chips or fish and chips, lady said very similar and same price, Asked for the fish bites well done as nearly everywhere I go the batter seems to be undercooked . They were cooked fresh so it took about 15 minutes , got them home and opened them and guess what, not well done , soggy thick batter, average portions and pretty tasteless! Dog enjoyed the soggy batter, waste of £9.90, will not be going back

Awful place, my mum took my 2 young children for their first and last time! My 13 year old had to pay an adult price as she was 141cm tall, yet she is a child until she is 16?? Food wasn’t great and they both now have upset tummies! never again!

Following recommendations from friends and relations I ordered my first home delivery take-away from here and was absolutely over the moon with the quality and quantity of the food supplied. Everything was clearly freshly prepared and was delicious. Just one little niggle.... I was very disappointed that I was unable pay with a credit card over the phone and was most uncomfortable having to obtain cash (which I haven't used for 9 months). I was told I could have paid by cheque but I presume that would have meant presenting the delivery man with my bank card and I wouldn't have been happy with that either. It's a great shame but with the pandemic becoming more and more out of control and both my wife and I having to fully shield, I don't think I'll be able to order another meal from here under the current payment arrangements.

We have been using New Sunflower for probably 30 years and have always had great food. Of late, we have always had the same mains (66 Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style and 83 Mixed Meat Hot with King Do Sauce) delicious and recommended! I don't understand the 1 star ratings

No entregaron todo el pedido, cuando se les llama no quieren volver solo para entregar arroz, tener algo gratis la próxima vez, de nada sirve cuando no tienes arroz con una comida china. No pidas a menos que quieras decepcionarte. Muy mal servicio y no hay devolución de dinero tampoco. Si pudiera colmenar no empezaría

I’m afraid to say just terrible, one of the worst Chinese take aways we have had!! Over cooked chilli beef(taste burnt) Under cooked batter in chicken balls Hard rice. We don’t normally leave bad reviews but was so disappointed for giving Wings ago!! Back to our usual local!!

The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. The portions sizes are generous and everything is cooked and ready to collect in great time. The lady who takes the orders and hands you your takeaway is fantastic! Always so friendly, smiley and genuinely makes you feel like a valued customer :-) Thank you

Stopped delivering to my address,we used to have 1 or 2 weekly unbelievable because the food and delivery was fabulous, now gutted

My girlfriend ordered this evening for a delivery as she does each week, and has done for years (chicken rice and chips). Rang up at 5:43pm and was told it would be an hour. By 7:10pm it still hadn’t arrived so she rang up to enquire about the delivery and was met by a load of verbal abuse down the phone by one of the staff members, shouting that they were busy tonight and the food would turn up when it does. They never mentioned about it being busy on the original call. All she got was verbal abuse with him shouting what do you want me to do about it.? We finally got the food and it was stone cold and the girlfriend had to put it in the microwave to warm up. She then rang up about it, and it sounded as though the manager was there then, as they were sympathetic and offered us a free chips on our next order. Just be careful when you order and make sure you get your food on time (if not beforehand) I’d avoid if you can…!

Had a lot of takeaways from here, some collected, some delivered nice friendly polite staff. Asked for a bit of chili with chow mein and no problem. Good size portions. Piping hot and tasty. Have had delivery's and chap who delivers always nice, happy and friendly, other delivery people take note. I tip him every time.

Vamos, a comida china para llevar. Servicio siempre muy amable, buen precio, plazos de entrega rápidos. La comida siempre es increíble y caliente. Definitivamente no hay faltas.

We ordered a takeaway for delivery. Told us it would be one hour. It didn’t arrive so we called them back to check and were told that it was going to be another hour. We said that if it was that long we would not pay for it. She then told us to F—- Off. disgusting customer service. We have had food from there before but will never use them again.

Very poor food. When you complain they don't want to know. Eat there at your peril. Plenty other Chinese around . You have been warned 🤮
