We came as a family for afternoon tea as a late Mother’s Day treat and it was absolutely amazing!
The selection of sandwiches was great and the food was unreal.
We couldn’t finish it all so got boxes to take away our sweet treats.
We were all waddling out afterwards.
10/10 and we will definitely be back for more ❤️
When we arrived we were placed on a table that had a reserve sign on it, we asked if it was really okay and the server said yes. We were still eating our dessert when the server came back and told us to finish in 10-15 minutes as he needs the table back at 2pm. If they would have told us beforehand we would have understood and ordered only the dessert, which we came for. I personally think it was very rude and not professionally handled. We’re never coming back here.
Food was okay. We came for the halo2 which needed more fruits.
I regularly choose Karma Coffee for the beautiful quality of coffee and customer service.
They've taken time to perfect all the ways someone might want their coffee with an array of syrup choices too! Consistently adding new ideas to their menu including delicious iced teas in the summer. Good choice of cakes/sweet snacks also available.
These guys offer coconut milk which is a bit rare and makes it so much more hearty and mmm!
My twin brother and I were exploring around this part of the city when we decided to drop by The Runner Duck Wine Room and what a great find.
Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here interior is cool, its only small but superb, light and airy, lovely decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options, it's just a great bar to chill out in.
We ordered a cheese and ham board each plus white wines ,wines were served cold and sparkling and cheese and hams were totally delicious, absolutely fantastic, its hardly surprising that this bar is so popular with wines and food of this quality, add to this the great staff and you have a great bar.
We moved on after our wines, cheese and ham ,had a great time, can't wait to go again next time we're in Lancaster.
The Runner Duck Wine Room is easy to locate along King Street.

We've been here twice so far this week! It's in a fabulous position with tables overlooking the harbour. A perfect place to enjoy a perfect cup of tea!
Excellent little bistro and deli I had a delicious tomato and red pepper soup with a rustic roll which was lovely . Lovely setting, perfect menu excellent service and excellent value
Finally got round to trying Sunday lunch here and as expected, lovely food. Quality ingredients (Beef & Chicken), well cooked with plenty of traditional accompaniments. Roast potatoes were superb 👌🏼. Great service from all the staff and all 5 of us left full up! We will definitely be back soon for another meal
What a lovely little find. Visiting Colchester from Ipswich with my daughter and wanted a hot drink and a snack. We were wandering around and found this little gem. Small cafe. On sitting down we glanced at other tables and their food and we were tempted to rather than buy a sandwich or toastie we both had cheesy chilli jacket potatoes served with a little bowl of dressed salad and coleslaw. The service was both quick and friendly. The place had a nice relaxing atmosphere and some of the customers seemed to know the staff so it seems like they have returning customers. They also did a nice pot of tea.
Just stopped for a quick coffee. Excellent coffee and fabulous cakes. We had the almond croissant cookie and the carrot cake, both of which were excellent. Highly recommended!
